BC, lol now get real
If the general is making contacts for the company and these contacts create business, isn't that worth something? You make it sound SOOOOOOO bad per your deluting shareholder value remarks when in essence "money makes money". Nothing is for free even with your company. Contacts speak volumns in all businesses. If he brings in a ton of business, would hope he gets a ton of stock too. That's good business practice for any company and how most work anyway. Hell, you know that.
Guess if YOU were in the general's shoes, you'd do it for free, right???? Of course you would. You da man or you da gal !
Get a kick how you TRY to twist things but knowing the person explains the thought process clearly.
I'll buy that!
Something will be breaking. If it goes on indef then we have a problem at this junture.
With 2 days left in July
what's the odds of a PR tomorrow and Friday
with something substantial
???????????????
Al - yes "they" received an E re this back in April or May
And Kelly is very receptive of ALL sugguestions from anyone; that's the way he is. He keeps me in too because he is approachable. And they DO have the goods to back it up.
I too beleive huge success is "over there". Looks as tho they want to play "over here" first. Nothing wrong with that and it apears they have made the right moves, thank you General Dalby/Jerry and sales/marketing team. This will be the start of the first windfall.
I am a firm beleiver of "it's who you know, not what you know."
Yes Fool
I see you are a researcher re that post. lol
Enjoy your posts as we share the same outlook and logic.
As when I visited Virtra, Bob told me they can produce very quickly however we now have more updated and newer equipment and have come ever so much further than that time. It is very exciting to me seeing all the eye witness accounts from the stockholders in print this last 6 months. Confirms things.
They may be ahead of the curve in construction better then we think. The pre planning to bring a big time partner for large projects now is really smart. When this breaks, realistly look for 10 to 15 per month. This will include overseas too.
This paragraph is in conjunction with above: As I stated many times before, and to management, they need an INCREASED sales team to be trained by the current staff then sent around the globe on their leads. If you can't accomadate when the customer wants, that's not good business and sales can be lost. You beat the problem before you have the problem. And for a company on the move, you better be ready to meet the client's request for a meeting in a timely fashion no matter where you have to go.
Let's just say this is an overly optomistic view :)
This company by any standard
is on the brink of a break out. I too have now been around for a while and invested. This is not the same company it was a year ago or even for that matter 6 months ago or even one month ago.
If VTSI fell on its face after all that has happened, what we were advised in the CC, and what it is "projected" to do according to management, I'd join the basher ranks myself. However, just because the latest news hasen't flowed yet is not cause to frown. Everything projected is short term.
One factor that I inquired very recently was about the European trade show. That was temp scrubed. That was my big thing, overseas. So you take it in stride, one step at a time. Did I get pissed; no. A lot of other different areas being worked on in its place. Suits me just fine. As long as the plan begins to unfold shortly, what's the panic?
Sometimes no news is not good news but if you know somethings deff coming down the pike, isn't that a good sign esp when you have a good idea what it will be? The key to the whole thing is buy low and think we ALL have. Stay cool!
With that military group going to Phoenix for demo's middle of July (like now), we can make a dent with our top of the line equipment.
And yes, board, we do need some sort of lift at this point in time per Kelly's comments for July. Hoping like everyone that we do get something solid in sales like before the 31st.
Most coverage you pay
This is how companies get started and keep the interest in their stock prices. How else would they get their names out to the public. Surely not on their own. Nothing is for free. You know that.
Until companies can make it in the respective fields, unles you want to be invisible to everyone, it's part of doing business and they all know that.
Once the sales come in and the numbers are good, then they can attract on their own.
And the advantage is they have a following. Simply, it takes money to make money.
Personally, hope they buy some more OTC Journal time for at least another year. This one is followed big time.
Don't understand why so critical on everything. Must be competition's hey boy on the board. If not, sure seems it.
Charlie, Everybody who is anybody
has partners to make the real bucks and contacts.
Almost imposible to crack any business unless you have a top sales team with contacts or partner with the contacts.
Our General was a GREAT (IMO) addition for this reason.
Would spec that whoever we team up with will also have existing connections.
(Off to work now) Later guys and just hang in there while this REAL phase is going on. Personally I sleep very well these days. This summer starting with this month will finally get us moving in the right direction short and long term.
No, just one of them.
Wouldn't that be a trip IF VTSI
is the or one of the leaders in the near future and we see a simuler PR on the wires.
Far fetched; think not. The groundwork has been (past Expos and other contacts) and is currently going on in Phoenix on a single segment of what this company has, can do and will be doing. With the proper exposure and partner for production, this can be mind bogling for this company.
I beleive and am "all in".

Cubic receives $18.4M simulation contract
Friday July 8, 9:31 am ET
The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation has awarded an $18.4 million contract to Cubic Corp.'s simulations systems division for a simulation trainer.
The Cubic (AMEX: CUB - News) division, based in Orlando, will provide 70 suites of its Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 to active U.S. Army and National Guard installments, beginning in November.
The trainer is the only small-arms training system validated by the United States Army Infantry School.
The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, also based in Orlando, operates an annual budget of $1.6 billion.
Sorry to hear about Ron's passing also.
Hoping for the best to his family at this time as life goes on.
Fool, very nice job.
Esp like these comments:
"I can tell you that we have been in contact with all 4 branches of the US armed forces within the last week to 10 days and 3 branches will be in Phoenix in mid July for both IVR and Immersa-Dome demonstrations.
You can expect to hear within the next couple of weeks of a major bid proposal, marketing support and manufacturing alliance with a major defense contractor, which will allow us to greatly increase short term production capabilities while ensuring large multi system purchasers with timely delivery and a top tier world wide manufacturing support infrastructure. This is a company renowned for its technologically advanced products to precision specifications.
This alliance will allow us, by the end of the month, to make far and away the largest bid proposal on a competitive tender in the company’s history.
I just finished speaking about what we except will happen."
Looks to me
that we sit tight and see where the cards fall.
Prospects looking real good per the CC. In a few months and especially a year from now we'll be kicking ourselfs for not going into that piggy bank for more at todays prices altho personally got enough shares. Sometimes greed is good. Right CB?
Positive news
is the only thing that will create interest at this point for the boarder liners and longs. It really has been quiet for too long.
Just hope the CC will be more bite then anticipated. If no, short term, long term projections are on the menue, will cause further downdraft. However if there is any meat to the call, it goes the other way, would assume.
And yes Felix, money is king.
OT What a great game!!!!!
Yes it is Doug
Silly silly me. Picked up that extra bunch of shares at .176 like I previously mentioned here but was not greedy. Darn should have been for a change of pace. Oh well we are all sitting on a powder keg, those who are in that is.
For those who are not, good luck with your jabering on the cons of the stock, means nil if you're a follower of the progress this company has made but mostly where its going.
For those who are in and waiting, ........................
(darn, couldn't have said it better)
:)
Another factor is
they have picked up more exposure for their products and get paid for it to boot.
Doug, thank you for your comments.
The time factor I guess is what may be holding us up!!!!
:)
How long does the SEC have
to declare it "effective".
Upon reading, it apears the company can conduct regular business but not anything new. Am I interpeting this correctly. So if there were any new business they are prohibited till the filing becomes effective.
Correct or not?????????? Again, how long the wait if anyone knows for sure?????
Just could NOT resist buying in the teens
I was the .176 buyer earlier today.
Add another 22500 to the kitty.
Thank you boys whoever you are.......................
Look ahead Paul. You have read history.
Expected non results in the past. Nothing new there.
Should the company fail THIS quater, then you have a point
especially when the company has eluted to the defense bill passing which will make the difference. So it has passed.
And we wait. Please don't make something out of nothing but you do.
Tend to agree Doug.
The way it's going overseas, moment in time is lives.
Only consideration is that when the sales are done, can the company speed up the process for installation. Should a lot of units be sold, would hope that a bigger team is skilled and qualified to put up several units at a time, wherever they need to be installed. Could be state side or overseas.
Perchance they are training a crew or two now in the "planning ahead stage". Would hope so. Said already time is money, and lots of it just might depend on the speed of installation.
Having a state of the art system is one thing but getting it functional quickly IMO is vital to sales for potential customers and current customers alike.
Congress is worth 4 cents up to now.
Wonder if the Pres is worth more. lol
"Good discussion everyone"
Don't think so. Guess it was a good time filler tho
while the waiting game continues.
Hey Greg
Keep up the great work on the researching aspect.
You still amaze me with all of your finds.
(and you too Doug)
:)
"Assuming" VTSI has several deals lined up,
with the military, would it not be pretentious to assume that they ARE going forward for systems at this time and any announcement will be made after the budget is signed.
This seems to be the question.
Seems to me there is some sort of deal already made between the parties although they cannot or will not state this.
Should it, the budget pass "soon" and VTSI gets the ink dried, several systems would have already been started (completed?) and take less time to complete then if they were to do nothing till the budget is announced THEN start their contracts. Time is money.
Risky? Not if it's firm and some sort of paperwork is done to protect one of the parties should this action occur.
So going "by the book" is a slow boat to China and a lot of time wasted in the process. All this seems logical to be.
One thing tho: IF this is happening, surprising there is no leaks, like the price going up. Guess we'll find out "soon" now woulnd't we.
Stick around
Who knows. If this hits you'll jump in, but at the higher price. Consider you "on the fence" with your time spent here in a non position. Why chase potentials away. Heck you could be a big holder one day. You are interesting to read if agree or disagree.
Just to continue a little
Would love to see them hire "grunts" for production and make an announcement. Would then have to assume production is climbing and business is there. Furthermore, salespeople for more exposure would not be out of line neither.
Salary you say. Where's the money coming from. Good question but if the company is on the move sure they would have to plan this now and not wait while the tech is there and interest is there also. Just a thought.
As a non shareholder, what's your thoughts on the immediate future if you were a shareholder and looking ahead at the short/mid term. ?????????
Great opening line Paul lol
And I was critical too:
"Who's to say anyone else is hiring, and if they were, that they would hire them over everyone else who is available?"
Touche!
Tusk, tusk Paul
"Most often you get who you can afford, and these guys can't afford much." What a childish statement to make.
What IF this is an industry leading product line. What IF they are part of the cream of the crop that can influence sales in a sector. What IF they see what most of this board sees, a possible industry leader in the making in the early stages. AND what IF they do not help the company obtain business. Does that constitute bad judgement on VirTra's part for obtaining them? Hardly.
You would pass judgement on anyone hired by this company it appears. Are not their credentials noteworthy.
Perhaps a retired plummer would suit you better.
"secured sufficient financing for future orders"
AMEN
Great finish Josh/Hawks!
(could you tell was into the NBA all star game side events?)
Heck yes!!! Enjoyable to say the least.
OT Yea
All Phoenix, one to go! Slam it Amare!
Know what you mean.
Night (me too)
Greg, you don't sleep!!!
:) Interesting day to say the least.
Disagree Paul:
"(patents are not sufficient for this because there us usually more than one way to accomplish something.)"
This is what all business' use for protection otherwise everybody copies everybody and no one stands out or has an edge. New products, business plan and pricing seem to be in line here. Thanks for your view.
(off to work)
Paul
Would you not agree that VTSI brings new toys to the game and for them the game is just starting.
Without a tract record of years being in the business, ie FATS, with military and law enforcement, I agree if there are no upgrades avail, FATS have maintained their presence with their current contracts and profited routinely with these accounts.
Now however there is a new player on the block. Beleive VTSI line of products are new upgrades to existing and current lines. The posibility of increased sales to both the military and law will be reflected in 2005, its first year with exposure of marketing. Percentage wise of the budget, who knows. Depends on need and products avail and contacts.
And overseas does not enter in to play at this time. BUT it will.
Problem, delay or normal course of business
going on time wise these days. Even no business? No one knows but the insiders. Cause for alarm, hardly. With nothing coming out of Dodge, at least the price is steady till something does get announced. It just may take time to close deals.
Going up or down doesn't realy mean a thing at this point because nothing is leaking out. Guess, guess and spec all you want; means nothing till they put the cards face up on the table for all to see. A duce, a jack or an ace of spades. We either have a great entry or are in the wrong game if it is not the real McCoy as most of us beleive it is.
Should they have some "steak deals", that need to be inked BEFORE they announce, give them the time; yes more time. Beleive they are working on a larger sales force; don't underestimate anything. For a start we do have a military General involved that we know of as an advisor. Advisor=sales/marketing
Just for the heck of it, an alliance with someone wouldn't hurt either. Now wouldn't that be sweet.
Got em. The first trade.
Thanks for the advise but happy for a few bucks more.
:)
