in a quandry . . . .....
I bought IPVO this morn with unsettled fund$.
I had sold all of my positions in the account Friday for good profits ... so all my sales settle this coming Thursday.
Unlike commodities, you're not allowed to take new long positions today with settled profits coming in Thursday, unless you agree not to close out the new longs before Thursday.
It is considered a Free Ride by the IRS and some auditing of your account will take place.
So, if IPVO gaps open tomorrow and I want to sell ... I can't.
Any opinions ??
Am I understanding this right ??
Thanks !!
IPVO !!
I'm in for the gapper as well.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory;
but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.
IPVO ask side UP! again.
bid side is following up.
I've had trouble getting filled all day.
I'm finally in @ 55
yes!
HYV, HYB, ACG
yes!
same with HYB and ACG.
I happen to get into all of these back near lows in October.
All paying around 10%
All appreciating greatly.
Great deal !!
CAP : IBZT
good move!
looks like investors are liking the news of huge backlogs.
just give them over the 3-day weekend to read about it.
let it reach the greedy masses ...
they'll be knocking on our doors next week to see if we'll sell their stuff back to them!
today's volume = investors are loving the news of huge backlogs
current backlogs = future profit$
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Someone at my office gets FAXed PR sheets each week.
I sit next to the fax machine so I look at them as they come out.
At the bottom it gives all of the legal mumbo jumbo ... third-party pays for this and owns shares and may sell them at any time ....
Then it says that the mentioned company paid $15,000 to us for this publicity.
GIGM & ADVC
are off to the volume races again !!
Is there any news out there ??
I see none ... maybe prices will shoot higher soon.
Hey CAP & IBZT !!
I did the same thing.
Actually ... I had done that with tens of thousands of shares about a week ago at 0.035.
I then sold them back to the same people for 0.046.
No one remembered me so they weren't mad about me making many hundred$ in a few days.
Then, since I'm such a nice guy, I agreed to buy some more from those same suppliers yesterday at 0.035 again.
They are really nice people!
Go IBZT !!!
Scottrade . . . .....
I read that iHub board on them . . . .....
I can't believe it !!!
I am shocked.
I have never had even one bad experience.
I trade daily (while not day trading!)
I have never had a single problem.
oh well ... to each his own.
Thanks!
ADVC & GIGM ??
Anyone know why the huge volume up moves ??
go GIGM go
thanks LATINO !!!!!!
ADVC - just added at .0028
news coming out soon should cause this to zoom!
GIGM !!
Thanks Latino.
Great TA research!
GIGM looks great technically and fundamentally.
The company has no debt and has P/S and P/B less than 1.
I'm in big at 1.80.
Awesome call ... thanks!!
IBZT
has been consolidating at high volume this week.
It is staying above Friday's close which bodes very well !!
Looks like another run higher ... hopefully even higher than the first run!
GLBT is a long term winner!
I agree.
Look at all of the huge contracts they've been winning lately.
Future income is certainly going to rise BIG!
Get in now for huge future profits.
I bought at 0.09 and sold at 0.20 the first time.
I got back in yesterday at 0.12 . . . ....
waiting for the next wave to be even bigger this time.
Lots of great news has come on board since the first wave.
SCTTRD vs TDW
I was with TDW up until a month ago.
I also have old Fidelity and CSchwab accounts.
Trying to get out of those as well.
Scottrade pays the most interest I've had so far ( 0.1%/month )
It does charge extra for limit orders ($12) ... mkt ordrs ($7)
Service is awesome.
Instant email confirmations if you'd like.
Great charting capabilities (especially on my Mac!)
Three decimal point limit orders on micro-caps.
CS & TDW always had so much other stuff going on their sites ... the active trader wasn't their major concern.
Also, they charged me $10/month if my account was inactive or I traded too little !!
Scottrade is always free for inactivity (like if I spend my profits on a month long vacation!)
And, most of all, everone else is too expensive !!
yeah ... that's me: wishywashy
btw: I've been having lots of fun and profits playing micro-caps lately.
um ... it's in the article.
who pays . . . .....
from their own advertisements:

IBZT going green!
I agree, I'm long @ 0.035
... waiting for the next shot up!
It's been all over the news on TV and in print.
momentum is building.
TDWaterhouse
I hated TDW.
I hated their user interface most of all.
I sold out all of my holdings at losses just to get out of there.
Why would anyone use a broker besides Scottrade ??
NYSE Rule 431 (aka NASD Rule 2520)
On September 28th, 2001, the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) implemented new account requirements that were approved by the Securities and Excange Commission (SEC). The amendment approved updates to NASD Rule 2520. This rule sets the guidelines for investment accounts that use a trading strategy commonly known as Day Trading. The amendment establishes new requirements for customers who actively day trade (known as pattern day traders). The newly updated rules will only affect customers who are classified as pattern day traders. The NASD definition under rule 2520, defines a pattern day trader as "any customer who executes four or more day trades within five business days, provided the number of day trades is more than 6% of the total trades in the account during that period.” In addition to this new definition of a pattern day trader, the following amendments went into effect on September 28th, 2001: Higher equity requirement - The minimum equity requirement for pattern day traders is $25,000. Clarification on the term day trade - Redefines the term "day trade" to treat the sale of an existing position held from the previous day as a liquidation, and the subsequent repurchase of that position as the establishment of a new position not subject to the day trading margin requirements. Day Trading Buying Power - Day trading buying power is calculated based on the customer's account position as of the close of business on the previous day. The amendments limit day trading buying power to four times the day trader's maintenance margin excess. Margin account requirement - All patterned day trades must be placed in a margin account. Trading in a cash account is limited to available settlement date balances in accordance with Regulation T and NASD Rule 2520. Scottrade is committed to assisting our customers who are affected by this NASD rule.

Not True !!
Target is and always has been an American company ... never ever owned by foreigners.
Target is a huge supporter of Verterans.
Don't believe most things you read on the Internet.

Micro-AIM . . . .....
eliminating the residual buys
why do you want to eliminate buys ??
the best thing I like about what I've learned from AIM is buying with only a portion of my investment capital so I can buy on dips. Let's face it, if we initially bought stocks at the bottom every time, we wouldn't need any help.
I like saving some dry powder to use if the stock initially drops a little. I use TA to time my buy/sells and set my follow-up levels instead of fixed percentages like AIM.
Now, if by "residual buys" you mean to continue buying forever, then I agree ... I like to make a few follow-up buys near "the bottom", then I will start selling out as the market tells me (using TA). If the stock then gets to a point where I feel it is a good buy again, I will get back in.
Anyway ... I'm rambling on.
Good Luck !!
and take a look at IBZT.
IBZT
iBiz is climbing fast.
It's got lots of good fundamentals behind it as well.
I bought in today @ 0.035
This is a good point of support to build a Micro-AIM portfolio.

Why not just buy a Mac ??
Isn't that everyone's "dream machine" ??
I've designed Wintel machines (h/w * s/w designer) most of my career (along with other proprietary standalone controllers).
I've used PC's for their entire existence and have never found one to ever be better than the Macs.
Now with Mac OS X, the gap has widened considerably.
Once you try one, you'll never go back.
The problem with Wintel PC's is that no matter how good the parts you use to put together a machine, you can not get away from the inherent design & integration flaws in the Windows OS and h/w - s/w integration.
The Mac h/w and Mac OS does it right ... from the start.
Pure and simple.
Please, try a Mac before you consider "upgrading" your PC.
You'll thank me for the rest of your life!
Go IDNW !!!!!
What a great opportunity to get in on a great stock early.
It's also a play on international stocks (Latin America).
We cried cuz we missed DELL, WMT, HD, etc... under $1
Now's our second chance !!
Go IDNW !!!!!
NOW! is definitely the time to get into this stock (NTOP)
VoIP is ready to explode!
Another great stock in this market, but in at a layer higher is IDNW. I've already more than doubled my money on it (from 0.04 to 0.09) ... it, too, is ready to explode ... just look at the charts.
So, two great stocks in this sector: NTOP & IDNW
Good Luck !!
for all of your PC troubles . . . ....
get a Mac !!
no viruses
no registery
no drivers to constantly update & configure
never system-crashes
Safari Web browser has all of the features you've talked about, built in!
free iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, iTunes, ....
it really is hard to beat ... not to mention the coolest computers on the planet!
which China Equity Fund do yous use ??
Devron .... hhhhmmmmmm .....
interesting thought.
One I must think more about.
Thanks!
Hi Adam,
The whole point of the AIM method (and others of this type) *IS* to reduce cash in a bear market ... i.e. buying at lower prices.
Perfection would be depleting your cash at the exact bottom of the market!
and furthermore, buying more shares with each successive purchase as the price went down would be an added bonus ... giving you a pyramid with your biggest gains coming from the most shares of the stock (at the bottom).
So ... if you desire to keep your program from giving you buy signals as the price drops (and even giving you sell signals), then that sounds like how the masses trade stock: buying greddily high and selling low scared.
Resisting selling is good!
That's when we lose money ... selling scared.
That's the position it puts me in: having cash waiting on the sidelines to buy as the price falls ... "keeping some dry powder".
anyway ... that's my opinion of AIM.
you wrote:
...
In Lichello's method if the stock enters a bear market you deplete cash and the increase in PC resists selling, which is wrong.
Thanks! Conrad.
I got the spreadsheet last night and will look it over this weekend.
Yes ... a lot of the dialog boxes are in Dutch and some are in English.
Not all have been translated and for a new Vortex user or trialer, it is confusing and makes us want to just buy AI.
I am glad you sent the spreadsheet so I can try to understand the Vortex program. I think Vortex is a good idea and would like very much to use it.
Thanks!
Hi Conrad,
I'd love to have these Vortex spreadsheets !!
I too have tried the Vortex trial version but most of the English screens are in Dutch.
Because most English help screens come up in Dutch, it is hard to try to understand what each entry field is for.
Having your spreadsheets would vertainly help me understand.
Please send to: Nickk@FMI-Management.com
Thanks!,
Nickk.

For doing simulations I could send you a Vortex spread sheet. Various other people did also get these Vortex spreads. Just ask for it and send me your e-mail address
Very bearish TWTI daily candlestick pattern.
Short-term bearish ... sell today,
buy next week or whenever upturn begins again.
Should reach the 4.00 - 4.25 range ...
watch for when it breaks above 4.25 - 4.50 again ...
either buy then or wait for confirmation close above 4.75
JMHO
Hey ROC,
I do the same as you:
use AIM for buy/sell stops, but use TA for actual buys/sells.
Thanks for your TWTI tip.
Nickk
Tom / HYB:
I agree with your comments.
I am watching HYB closely.
Since I just got in to both ACG & HYB, I'm sort of buying near "the bottom".
ACG has actually been going up since getting in ... HYB sideways.
I'm hoping HYB doesn't go any lower and in fact will appreciate more over time than ACG as the economy strengthens and corporate debt becomes less risky.
We shall see.
Thanks,
Nickk
Hey All ... another great "cash" fund
I'm using besides ACG is HYB.
Both give about 0.83% monthly.
From a TA standpoint, HYB may have more potential for capital appreciation as well.
Just sharing an opinion.
