Buffit, I have officially given up on EDWY. I have sold my position and took a 50% hit plus commissions. I don't have faith in EDWY releasing the "Next Big Thing" when you have companies 10,000 times the size of EDWY doing what EDWY is talking about and more.
I realize that I will probably end up being a long-term bag holder if I didn't get out now so I just took my losses and got something out of it to live and fight another day.
I will continue to occasionally check in because I appreciate your sound wisdom and guidance. By the way, I am reading and studying the invest strategies of your name's sake, Warren Buffett. GLTY.
I would not be surprised if the Markman hearing is today.
911 shares = need shares in an emergency? Weird!
That's very insightful of you. I am with you in that being some type of smoke signal.
I am really excited about this stock.
I totally agree and will definitely note that going forward, especially with the penny stock game.
Buffit knows his stuff....seems like Buffit is a student of Warren Buffet's invest style.
No, I am going to just sit on it and see where it goes long term. I am not actively buying and selling any additional stocks in any company until I get my investment game stronger. I will check my ShareBuilder account once every couple of weeks for any changes but beyond that, there will not be any additional investing.
My focus will shift to paper trading, reading and studying the strategies of successful investors like Warren Buffet and others and stacking cash for future investments.
This is the one stock out of my newbie portfolio that I believe will produce great returns if the Markman hearing works out in GERS' favor.
Yes, I am serious....serious about Thayer the Thief scamming new investors and warning them. I want to hope and pray SMVI turn around but I have a better chance of seeing Satan back in Heaven before SMVI become a company with integrity.
Buyer beware. If you want to give money away, invest in the lottery before SMVI. You have a better chance of winning with the lottery.
Buffit, your posts have been very informative and appreciated. I am dropping out of investing to increase my education on investing and revamp my investment strategy.
While I won't actively track EDWY anymore, my focus will be on becoming a successful investor. I got slayed the first time out here. However, I am bowing out, regrouping and coming back a much more knowledgeable investor.
Thanks again, Buffit. I will be studying the strategies of investment icons like Warren Buffet.
The more I read into this thread, the more I am see the errors of my ways in my first outing into penny stocks. I am definitely reassessing my investment strategy and will drop out of the investment game for a while. The plan is to stack lots of cash as I learn to become a better investor. I have already set up a paper trading account. In addition, I have picked up some books on how to successfully invest.
In the meantime, I will put EDWY in the SCAM stock category and write this one off as an expensive learning experience. I won't be tracking EDWY or reviewing this board any longer. It's history and time to move on.
If it pops, great. If not, still great. I am going back to the drawing board, regrouping and getting back in the game at a later date much more educated and ready to DD the hell out of companies before I invest in them.
bud_fox, that PR info is about as valuable as a $3 bill. I learned my lesson fast and will proceed with much caution with these POS penny stocks like SMVI. Caveat Emptor next for SMVI.
Good luck with this POS shill called SMVI being run by Thayer the Thief.
Shoot, I am in that same boat. I can't sell. However, I want to warn others before investing. I can see if they were actually launching services that worked and gained customers. For SMVI, this isn't the case.
I would hope Thayer the Thief turns around but I cannot find that much hope in the world. He got us this time and karma is waiting for him to come right around the corner.
TJG, I am so dang fed up with scam companies (in general, not pointing at EDWY) in the penny stocks that I am really considering starting a company that actually COMMUNICATES and ACCEPT FEEDBACK from those invested in OUR business.
You know, a company with a real IR department where people actually return your call or reply to your e-mail with solid information. You know, a company that has a real product or service that is growing. You know, a company that inspires growth, investing and gives back RETURNS.
After these last 2 - 3 weeks of dealing with dilutions, reverse splits and delistings while holding the bag, it may be time to actually start and run a company for success that actually gives a dang about its customers, shareholders and employees.
They have hit rock bottom and took our money with them. Geez!
New traders, please virtually press the "mute" button on posts like this:
"Things could be moving along here. If the rumor was true a few weeks back that a fortune 500 company was looking to invest here and they retire or buyback some of the shares things could heat up quickly around here."
Even if you are too lazy right now to do DD on this company, just go through some of the recent postings about this company. I beg you! Please ignore shill postings. Don't fall for the Fool's Gold. This is a shill company, has a shill "executive" and has some shill "posters" trying to make you believe that sh*t is chocolate although it appears to be sh*t.
Red flags: "If the rumor was true". There is no rumor. That is just someone trying to hook into you to continue investing in this shill.
"fortune 500 company." They have not successfully launched any of the sites they said they would beyond a few "pages" of crap like PetInThe.net.
"was looking to invest here and they retire or buyback some of the shares things could heat up quickly around here." Code word for RUN and run fast from this company.
There will always be a new fool. However, thieves like Thayer are very short-sighted. They keep conning as long as they can, not knowing (or believing) they will have to eventually pay for their actions in one way or another. Karma is definitely a female dog on the rag and Thayer the Thief will get his turn on the Wheel of Misfortune. Everyone does.
Because Thayer promotes POS companies. Keep believing the hype unless you are a P&D'er.
It takes money to make money. However, when you have an IR e-mail that bounces and can never get in touch with someone, you say you are releasing web services which never came out and then you release PRs on bogus looking websites that when researched, smells fishy, you have to begin to wonder.
Yeah, Thayer took MY money and many others to make money for himself. Feel free to buy this fool's gold. I am holding worthless stocks that cannot be traded because no one wants to buy this POS. If you want my shares, I will be glad to sell them to you.
Well, I stopped playing the lottery because I was throwing money away. At least in the stock market, I have a much better chance at gaining or breaking even.
Excellent post!
You have a good point. I am going to delay selling them and give the company more time. That's my final answer. ;)
Buffit, I have developed a very high level of respect for you and your informative posts. Your insight helped me to uncover and sniff out a scam pink that is trying to get more people to invest in it through bogus news releases. Thanks a lot, Buffit.
Although I am exiting out of EDWY ASAP, I will continue to follow and learn from you.
Good. I hope this scam gets elevated to "Caveat Emptor" status on OTCMarkets.com.
My last couple of posts should tell you why. SMVI should become SCAM.pk.
Actually, the "customer" site that looks like PetInThe.Net is http://quepon.co.in/. I mistakenly added a comma to the link. Don't fall for this crap. Do the DD. You will literally pay for it if you don't. Learn from my mistakes and others before you fall for this garbage from SMVI.
To get new money coming in from unsuspecting investors. Thayer got me once but he won't get me again.
[RED FLAG! RED FLAG!] Go to http://quepon.co.in/, one of SMVI's MakeYourOwnSite "customers." That site is laid out exactly like PetInThe.Net. Buyer beware. [RED FLAG! RED FLAG!]
A little DD here:
So, SMVI lets PetInThe.Net fall by the wayside and now they "launch" this new site called MakeYourOwnSite.com. Folks, you don't need to be by a lake or an ocean to smell something fishy. Lookie here at what GoDaddy.com allows you to see about MakeYourSiteNow and some of its "clients". I have been burned once by SMVI and I am dang sure going to due super DD on this so-called company.
Their IR e-mail address bounces. I got burned by SMVI once but dang if I let it happen twice. See below and also check out the registrations of their other "customers." Fool's gold ahead. You've been warned:

Calling it quits on EDWY. I am consolidating my investments and have to say goodbye to EDWY. GLTA who stay with them. I wish you all the best.
Agreed.
I just took the new site for a spin (looks like it is still a work in progres). It definitely has a lot of potential. Currently, it does not display well through Firefox. I have to use Internet Explorer to view it.
I hope eDoorways continue to actively sharpen this site. It could be huge! GLTA.
No, I am not thinking you are lying. I am hoping and praying you are wrong in your analysis because if you are right, then I, along with others, are screwed.
Your informative posts are appreciated but I hope you are 100% wrong about the direction of EDWY. If you are right, that will suck. ;)
Interesting. I'll take a wait and see approach before I run and buy up more shares of this company. Here's WhiteGate PR's website just in case anyone wants to take a look:
http://www.whitegatepr.com/
What "news" are you speaking of? You mean this news: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Social-Media-Ventures-Enters-prnews-2839691064.html?x=0&.v=1
Pennymarket, I truly hope that is the case. I'm already $1k in so I really hope this product changes the game.
The exact error message from the EDoorways Corp site: NOTICE: This domain name expired on 07/08/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion. It points to GoDaddy.com.
I truly hope Mr. Buffit is wrong but strange things like this seems to be making him out to be telling the truth.
I am a sponge. Any additional info you can share on doing proper DD (especially with these "pinkies") would be great. I just finished reading "Invest in Penny Stocks" by Peter Leeds. It is a great book with excellent info. I should have read that first before investing.
However, I am going to learn from my mistakes and move forward with more patience and DD. Buffit, thanks for all you contribute and share on these boards.
EDIT: I read your message again and see that you dropped quite a lot of info about penny stocks in there. Awesome info! Thanks again.
I am starting to wonder myself about this company and its "products". I am in a little over $1k myself and that interim financial report kind of took some of the wind out of my sails.
I decided to sign up for an eDoorways.com account and take their current "product" for a spin. I wasn't impressed and felt I may have wasted my time and money investing in EDWY. However, I am hoping that this "2.0" thing is really unique and adds value to the web experience. If not, this will be my fifth bag holder [ARTS, SMVI, DTSL and MNDPD (reversed split)] in a relatively short time.
I am a recovering newbie who failed to do DD and got burned. So, going forward, I am taking my time to really research these companies thoroughly, learn to ask the right questions of IR and the execs, if possible and step up the technical, fundamental and "Warren Buffet-tal" analysis. I hope EDWY really launches a great product and/or service but that interim financial report has me leaning towards preparing to be another bag holder.
