This post is being made by my LG g4. I don't see what the big deal is. Are you claiming that it's not easy convenient etc?
no, no, no ... mobile is slowing down so pcs will get back to its former glory and intc will go to the moon
global smartphone demand has decelerated significantly
and the logical thing is to expect people to go back to laptops/desktops which will also make server sales explode so bk is trying to bypass mobile.
you really haven't learned your lesson, have you? but at least your low bound seems to be going up too, ala bofa who increased from 70 to 180 when the stock hit 260 ...
Component makers also have weak order visibility for the fourth quarter and Windows 10 is unlikely to provide enough incentives to boost PC demand.

the last sentence is interesting:
In fact, most tablet players may see difficulties achieving their shipment goals for 2015 or making profits from the product line. Some white-box players are relying on Intel's subsidies to keep their operation in the tablet market, the sources said.

i think as we get closer to model-x release tsla will start moving upwards again. personally i am expecting a 10-15% increase by oct/nov.
My organization does software engineering.
so by induction everyone else
what percentage of pc users do this, do you think ? i use solidworks, allegro, altium, eclipse and vivado. of course these don't run on a tablet but i don't claim most people do what i do and need a 24 core 128g machine either.
Windows 10 unlikely to hike PC demand, say Taiwan ODMs
Many Taiwan-based ODMs hold the opinion that Windows 10 will not be able to boost large-scale PC replacements and upgrades because a large proportion of consumers mainly use PCs for Web surfing and document processing, and therefore do not need the advanced functions provided by Windows 10.
...
The ODMs pointed out that most consumers have shifted their budgets to purchase a new smartphone since they have no immediate need to buy a new PC, and Windows 10's first-year free upgrade will make the matter worse.

skylake is going to be at least 1q late:
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/mt9lc3.jpg
of course you most conveniently ignore the addition of another generation of 14nm chips and complete disappearance of 10nm chips and go after a minor nit.
the third 14nm family ...
Skylake has not been delayed.
count with me; it's ok to use your fingers: broadwell 1, skylake 2 ...
well what do you know, skylake is the second 14nm family chip, not the third.
ex falso quodlibet.
indeed.
the third 14nm family with no 10nm in sight, will be delayed. must be nice to have no competition; one can milk existing generations longer
Intel said to postpone Kaby Lake processor launch to late 2016

Bought the dip in the premarket and up today
I assume you sold back at the top as mu closed significantly below the premarket dip. Again good luck with your trades ...
Bought the dip in the premarket and up today. Bought many others and all are doing the same thing. Sorry you didn't bank like I am.
good luck with your trades ...
i guess you haven't checked the futures nor do you know what's going in greece ...
Expecting a strong outlook, the firm has slightly raised expected 2020 production estimate from 500,000 units to 515,000 vehicles
wow, they have powerful mojo. a 3% increase in 5 years. i wish my magic ball's predictions were so precise.
Hey I finally saw a tesla car yesterday. Driven by some 1% rich scum bag.
it seems you are free to insult people but admins delete posts which respond to your BS:
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13198798/1/the-average-tesla-driver-isnt-who-youd-expect.html
BTW, did you cover your shorts which you created when you "hoped" tsla would go to below $200 ?
Micron advertises on-package memory like this: "Knights Landing, Intel’s next-generation Xeon Phi™ CPU architecture, leverages the fundamental DRAM and stacking technologies found in our Hybrid Memory Cube (HMC) products"
Basically this is DRAM applied with a wide bus to increase bandwidth and at very short distances which probably uses a different io structure which saves power. Nothing very fancy actually and indeed evolutionary.
It's certainly not the non-volatile technology which was to be denser than dram in an intel slide a while ago. That's still mia.
DDR4 memory prices fall at rapid pace
mainly to Samsung Electronics' price cuts aimed at increasing market share, ...
demand for high-margin server DRAMs is decelerating due to disappointing server sales ...

The company is projected to initiate selling the Model X for $17,000 in September
is this site like theonion or are they really clueless?
they're getting closer to model x release?
something is up
Chip, PC Demand Continues Decline
Some PC chips down as much as 20% in Q2
Deutsche Bank now estimates PC sales will fall 9 percent in 2015 compared to 2014...
Seymore also is taking a more bearish stand on the roll out of Windows 10 and Intel’s next-generation processor, code-named Skylake.
http://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1326870
tsla is up 58 cents.
has the climb started ?
How high will this go?
https://www.semiwiki.com/forum/content/4711-tsmc-shows-10nm-wafer.html
also altera is claiming that they will sample stratix 10 by fall of 2015. this has quad 64 bit arms built on intel 14nm foundry. xilinx better be able to counter with 16nm tsmc finfet+ samples.
chicken little says the sky is falling:
$254.71 -1.58 (-0.62%) as of
this is from a guy who promotes aview which trades for exactly zero. why don't you short it and tell us how you did ?
Sales less then that of any other company
that just by itself shows your ability to make reliable decisions ...
But has the slide started
How low will this go?
do you want to give that another try?
I don't see a need for tighter integration for such a niche.
there will be a quad 64 bit arm + gpu with a very tightly integrated best in class fpga next year. maybe intel was just pissed that altera couldn't tape-out on intel fabs a similar chip and wanted to show x86 could be better; who knows ?
honesty is good; it's nice to announce oneself ...
Wow didn't know tesla had racist investors
actually the short seller in this instance seems to belong to that category.
.......experienced employees out........women, minorities, in ......Intel AA run amuk.........good luck Intel investors
so these experienced employees are fully blameless for the situation in which intel finds itself. they are so blameless that intc has to buy another chip company to fill their fabs and lay off people because they can't sell what they make. i do say good luck intel investors too.
Don't be hatein homey
again you seem to be the "hatein homey" here. probably can't stand all those rich, white guys who can afford a tesla, and hope/pray for a crash all day. i would say get a job and see if you can actually make money instead of hoping others lose it.
Yes cult stocks are like that.
no need to insult what you don't understand. as far as i can see, the only person who looks like they belong to a cult is you.
Do you realize how many people are about to lose a lot iof money .
like you when you shorted hoping to see below $200 a month ago?
But has the slide started
How low will this go?
humility is good; here is what you have claimed will happen a month ago:
Shorting this stock big time
Watch tomorrow mid 220ies by Monday below 200
Telling you all bail now

I guess those shorts didn't go down too well for you ...
With Mac OS X, you can create as many clean installs as you want to as Apple doesn't charge for the OS.
Actually that's not entirely accurate. You can't install mac os x on any non-apple hardware and you can't buy a mac without mac os x so the cost of the os is included in the hardware. And because you can't install mac on any non-apple hardware (without going to extreme and not-legally licensed lenghts) the whole concept of clean install doesn't exist. Any mac had a paid for os at some point.
Microsoft does try to get paid for each pc sold regardless it has windows on it or not but I don't think that effort goes far these days; at least in smaller vendors. You still can't buy a desktop pc without windows from dell or hp (i am sure someone will let me know that i am wrong).
that's called a zynq http://www.xilinx.com/products/silicon-devices/soc/zynq-ultrascale-mpsoc.html
the current version is a ghz dual core 32 bit arm. the next version, probably sampling this year, will be a quad 64 bit arm + a gpu + 16nm fpga.
given other companies efforts to use intel foundry (altera specifically) i think chickens, counting, hatching etc are relevant terms here.
I would take the factual foundry move as a positive and discount his other comments quite a bit
before you do that it's advisable to look for the actually "factual" stuff in the post. There is a plan to use intel but actually they will use tsmc first:
China’s Spreadtrum Communications will use Intel Corp.’s 14nm FinFET process technology, for both the low- and high-end mobile chips the company plans to launch in 2016, Leo Li, chairman and CEO of Spreadtrum, told EE Times Tuesday (May 26).
..
Before the end of this year, the new SoC that will actually come out of Spreadtrum will use ARM-based octa-cores. That processor will be made by using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s 16nm process technology.
