The best part Steve is that the Doc isn't even an employee of the company. He is an everyday shareholder like you and I who just so happens to know a bit about mining. He wrote up a very comprehensive valuation report using past information and wording it so the everyday investor could understand it. Well worth the read and very informative for those that want to know what they own. Why they are allowed to attack a shareholder is beyond me but those are the rules I guess. Whatever, I know the man personally and I trust his knowledge because like HR said, no one is arguing the merits of his report rather just the fact that he is a dentist as if that is a despicable profession.
Here, here Rick. I couldn't have said it better myself. In America it is ok to be proficient in more than one field right?
I guess it's easy to throw stones when you have never met the man and even easier to write disparaging words from behind an anonymous computer screen. The good thing is that there will soon be another SHM so those that take issue with the Docs knowledge will have the opportunity to hop on a plane, meet us in Vegas and address their issues in person. That would be a hoot.
It's now our time. I look forward to seeing you again in Sin City.
That is a hell of a guarantee made from a layman from 7K miles away that has never seen any of the data from the hundreds of holes already drilled on the Jota property. Would you mind explaining to the rest of us how you came to this conclusion...or is it simply your opinion. Thanks for sharing.
and I wouldn't take your nickel bet Benny. We've been here long enough to know better right. For some reason I believe we won't have to wait too much longer to find out
What if the financials show a large deposit in the receivables column?
I can't answer that with any certainty. I would assume that a meeting will be called for roughly one month out from the announcement date and receipt of funds.
It will get even funnier when we receive our money in March. Vindication will be priceless. I can't wait to see all my Medinah friends in Vegas in April.
One is better than none right?
As for the voice over guy...sounds great to me, better if you add in "he is the president of Medinah Minerals..."
Tell you what, why don't we revisit this topic when the show airs then we can determine the publicity value.
I didn't say anyone would buy the recovery system I merely stated that if one was interested in doing some research they could follow the bread crumbs to complete the story.
As for product placement, watch any Hollywood movie and count the product placements. Here is a little teaser...

According to that logic, MDMN will have some comercials running during the show. That aught to be fun.
Have you heard of product placement? It's a ploy used by advertisers that want some attention without buying a commercial. If the recovery system says AuVert or Alluvia mining splashed all over the side of it then that is something an interested viewer can research. The Hoffman boys wore 316 Mining shirts all season long. Do you think NO ONE ran a google search for 316 Mining?
Of course it is, you have a vested interest in wanting MDMN to succeed. I think if you ask the other property owners where the Hoffmans prospected, you would get a very different line on thinking than yours. The Hoffmans went to three countries and who knows how many properties. JJ spoke of $6 BIllion in gold; do you really think the other property owners didn't try and sell their piece of dirt to Discovery and the Hoffmans? At this point it is all speclation which is exactly what Discovery wanted.
The six episodes filmed in three different S. American countries are already in the can. The property has already been chosen for season 4. Care to guess why JJ was shown in a helicopter with Todd and Dave and no other property owner was shown? As for my vested interest, yes I sure do...do you?
Just to be clear, I never said it would bring SP appreciation. However more eyes on your property can never hurt, would you agree? That's the free pub I am speaking of. If just one person sees the show and decides to buy shares of MDMN then that is free pub.
Do I look up who makes the products used on Myth Busters
I don't know you well enough to answer that question but advertisers sure do seem to think it works that way. Would you agree?
And what's behind that assumption?
Call it a gut feeling. But I'll give you a hint...I'm from and currently live in Oregon.
Six episodes. Filmed in THREE countries.
These six episodes you speak of are the mini-series that Discovery is using to determine which piece of property the Hoffmans will mine next year. Then there will be an entire season 4 and it will be done at one claim. My money is on the Jota owned 20% by MDMN N.A.
The funny thing is that people are trying to put a negative spin on this thing. Our president was on Gold Rush last night for gods sake. Brush it off if you'd like but I would say that all shareholders are at the very least excited to see what happens.
It's called a modicum of DD for anyone interested in finding out who owns the property featured in the show...and yes I have faith in humanity and their ability to put two and two together.
I am also working on the assumption that the entire season will be filmed on the Jota property in Chile which Medinah Minerals owns 20% of and not just the 6 part mini-series. I also expect to see the Alluvia AuVert recovery system which has a direct connection to Medinah...SO, to answer your question...YES the publicity might require one to dig a little but it will be there nonetheless.
In addition, neither you nor I know if Medinah will be mentioned by name in the series so it's all speculation and opinion at this point right?
I guess I missed it. What was the 2012 pump?
At no time did I say that Medinah Minerals would be splashed all over the Discovery Channel Gold Rush show and I challenge you to show me where I did.
You on the other hand never answered my question. If you are a shareholder do you see any NEGATIVE with the program being featured on a national cable show that's pretty damn popular.
Either way I am a happy Medinah shareholder and I see the positive. See what you'd like, it makes no difference to me.
Show me one pump, just one. Never happened but happy looking.
I said Jr. mining company not pump and dump scam company.
Maybe yes maybe no...we will have to wait and see my point is that it is FREE PUB...as in zero dollars out of pocket. Again, please find me one Jr. mining company that has one of their properties featured on any television show let alone the number one cable show on Friday night.
Free pub...remember that. People that invest in the mining world can dig a little deeper than a simple google search to find out who's who in the zoo but for the sake of the argument, what do you get when you plug Juan José Quijano Fernández in to google? Nuf said.
The good thing is I'm stoked on the free pub and so are the current shareholders. Is it fair to say that you're not one of them? If you are what exactly about this development is a negative in your opinion?
Waiting your reply.
Did it make this season look undesirable to Discovery Channel, the number one cable tv show on Friday night? Guess the higher up's at Discovery need to reevaluate their strategy for number one shows eh?
Are you trying to say that the Discovery Channel show which is number 1 on Friday nights and the "Hacks from Oregon" that have been mining for three years won't have any impact on Medinah Minerals?
This is free publicity on a national cable program. Free meaning MDMN pays nothing for the exposure. Please find me another Jr. mining company that can say the same thing. Just one.
This is priceless...literally.
Agreed. I was thinking that the JV would be for one of the claims on the Jota, let the Hoffmans do some proving then use the data to sell at a higher price. Either way it will be great FREE pub.
American Medinah Gold is the 100% owner of the Jota claim of which MDMN N.A. is a 20% owner. I would imagine that JJ has worked out a NSR for the Jota as he did with the LDM and ADL. The property is huge and there is little to no chance that the Hoffman boys could mine the entire property themselves. The announcement yesterday mentioned a possible JV which I believe will be the Hoffman crew doing the work and AMG/MDMN collecting the NSR. The Discovery Channel may have paid AMG an initial fee for the rights to a portion of the property, say one or two of the Jota placer claims to start with then possibly a first right of refusal if the Hoffman crew hits it big and wants to expand.
There has been extensive drilling on the Jota so you can bet that the target has been selected already. You don't fly a huge tv crew and a huge mining crew 7000 miles south to come up with nothing. Also it is rumored that Alluvia will be showcasing their new AuVert recovery system which will give Todd redemption after this seasons trammel debacle.
Obviously this is my opinion which I am not afraid to say is just an opinion and I am not stating it as fact. We will just have to wait and see but it can no longer be denied that there is a JJ/MDMN/Discovery connection.
I can't argue. The execution has been piss poor but I have a feeling that the worm is turning. I don't drink the koolaid but I can read the writing on the wall and it's a best seller. Hang in there for the big win, you've been around too long to give up now.
Might I ask how you know the property is worthless? I have been combing the internet for geological data on the Jota property but I am yet to come up with anything. Would you be so kind as to point me to the link that you have that shows this data? Thanks in advance.
In my opinion paying 20 million shares for a 20% interest in a property that is going to be featured extensively in the number 1 cable television show in America is a steal of a deal. Think of it as free publicity.
Why would he do that?
We are invested in the mountain and all the PM's that are within. I suggest reading one of the geological reports from the past to get a minimum of an idea of what is inside said mountain. I can save you the time if you would like...IT'S LOADED.
Sure the BOD are worthless but then again they aren't running the show. That is in the hands of JJ and you can bet your last dollar that he will get it done come hell or high water.
We are in one of the last mining friendly countries, the price of PM's will continue to raise as the world continues to print funny money, the infrastructure is in place and the manpower is educated and ready to be hired.
There are very few world class deposits left in the world and we have one of them. Jump in for the big win.
and they wont do anything for the SP in the short term however those that understand the big picture and have the sack to accumulate at this price will be richly rewarded. It's time to raise the roof on this sucka...tear the roof of this mutha sucka!!!
He was being facetious dude.
Would you believe it if there was a picture?
How's that Agylix doing anyway?
How's that Agylix stock doing these days? Oh brother, that was funny. Sometimes I crack myself up.
Would you believe it if they gave you a picture?
The better question, Don, is how in the world has Medinah been able to pull off a 15 year scam without attracting the attention of the SEC, FINRA or any of the other regulatory agencies that keep an eye on the stock market.
I have advised many people over the years that have thought it was a scam to contact any one of these regulatory agencies and inform them of their concerns. I guess it is easier to cry wolf than actually take the necessary time to send an email or make a phone call. Selah.
My account looks great despite the delays. I am hardly an INSIDER and I have never DUMPED any measurable amount of shares over the 8 years that I have been around. I know about 40 Medinah investors personally and can assure all of you that none of them are considered INSIDERS either. If you're considered an insider by doing your own DD and educating yourself about your investment then I guess I am an insider even though I have no contact with management other than the occasional email with Les which I keep to myself.
At the end of the day my account will continue to grow while others will continue to use scare tactics to dissuade future investors. Here's to us Don and all of my other great friends that I have met through this investment.
And Level 2 tells you the names of the seller? What system do you use because mine doesn't provide names.
I'm new to the whole investing thing so maybe you can explain how you know who is selling? Oracle?
And now for a reality check....
The $5 million is the exploration budget for the first 18K meters of drilling at the ADL. This is monies controlled by Amarant and their geological team. Codex, escrow or Ulanders pocket...where it is held is inconsequential.
The payment of $5.4 million for the Alluvia collateral is forthcoming prior to turning over the mountain to Amarant. No money, No Drills...it's that simple. If you are paying attention to what is happening with the AuVert systems and Alluvia you will quickly and easily realize that Amarant is NEVER going to bankrupt Alluvia to screw over Medinah. Not going to happen and any intimation that is will is simply a scare tactic. I repeat, NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!!!
As for the sale of the property after the first 18K meters of drilling...well if you know anything about mining you would understand that 18K meters of drilling is no where near enough to prove up a property the size of the ADL to flip it to a major.
Let's see what the results of the first 18K meters of drilling produce. The NI43-101 report is due by 6/30/2013.
As for making money on this stock, I guess it depends on what your entry price was. Mine is in the 2 cent range and I am up nicely.
Pay attention folks, it's about to get really loud in here.
Ladies and gentlemen...I too can go to legal zoom and create a company...the difference is that Medinah has a mountain the size of Detroit that is chalk full of copper, moly, gold, silver, iron ore and GOD knows what else. If you have followed the bread crumbs and had the courage to buy while the price is low your reward is right around the corner. If however you choose to believe the negative nancies...well...there's always Monday to jump in.
I for one will be enjoying the price appreciation.
Rick...how about you?
Can you answer this question...
How do you know that a PRIVATE company doesn't have the funds?
As for HR and his position, I'm sure he will be around soon enough to tell you and everyone else that he is all in.
Did you read the announcement on the Amarant website yesterday? If not let me post it for you then you can follow their timeline and come up with your own answers. Here it is...
Update regarding geological work in Altos de Lipangue, Chile
06/01/2013
Amarant Mining hereby announces the start of exploration work in the Altos de Lipangue project in Chile. At the end of week 2, 2013, the management team from Amarant and geological experts will meet in London for a start-up meeting mapping the project and deciding on milestones to achieve and timetables to complete. The geological team led by Dr. Michael Smith will arrive in Chile week 4, 2013 to kick-start the geological work previously published on Amarant’s home page in the news section.
Further Amarant has decided to establish a new Chilean subsidiary hub that initially will handle the ADL project in the area and oversee all operational work.
The funding of 5 MUSD for covering the exploration costs the forthcoming drilling program is in place and the exploration work is moving along according to timetable.
Any significant up-dates on the project in Altos de Lipangue will be published on Amarant’s home page.
For general up-dates about the project, please subscribe to our monthly newsletter by sending an e-mail to sonja.catani@conventusltd.com with subject “AdL newsletter”. E-mail addresses will be handled with discretion and won’t be used for any other purposes than this newsletter.
Forget it Don...critical thinking is not in the vocabulary.
The update on the Amarant website that just came out tells the story. I'm a buyer tomorrow.
Of course that's just one mans opinion.
My opinion is that the deal is intact, the money is forthcoming and the mountain will prove all the honest longs have been right all along.
I'd rather be right in the end.
