Have you heard of product placement? It's a ploy used by advertisers that want some attention without buying a commercial. If the recovery system says AuVert or Alluvia mining splashed all over the side of it then that is something an interested viewer can research. The Hoffman boys wore 316 Mining shirts all season long. Do you think NO ONE ran a google search for 316 Mining?
Of course it is, you have a vested interest in wanting MDMN to succeed. I think if you ask the other property owners where the Hoffmans prospected, you would get a very different line on thinking than yours. The Hoffmans went to three countries and who knows how many properties. JJ spoke of $6 BIllion in gold; do you really think the other property owners didn't try and sell their piece of dirt to Discovery and the Hoffmans? At this point it is all speclation which is exactly what Discovery wanted.
The six episodes filmed in three different S. American countries are already in the can. The property has already been chosen for season 4. Care to guess why JJ was shown in a helicopter with Todd and Dave and no other property owner was shown? As for my vested interest, yes I sure do...do you?
Just to be clear, I never said it would bring SP appreciation. However more eyes on your property can never hurt, would you agree? That's the free pub I am speaking of. If just one person sees the show and decides to buy shares of MDMN then that is free pub.
