Plain ole- if anyone has the answer to this question I too would like to know. Also I would be curious to know if insiders can buy knowing certain facts as long as they don't share information. The two thoughts might go hand in hand.
I don't post much but have followed INO for a couple of years.
Thanks to all the posters for making it so easy to find information with links as well as the cautious possibilities!!!!
You don't see that very often.
Congrats to INO longs on more good data. The days when this type of data actually comes from late stage clinical trials is not that far off. It's great to see Kim get some of the recognition he deserves.
There are many here that read but don't post often. You have a lot to offer here and do a lot of good work--from reading I know many appreciate it. I hope you can be satisfied knowing you try to help by providing information for those that look for it.
Whatever decisions they make after that (whether they agree or not) should not affect anything you do here. No one should want all posts to be positive--that doesn't help us learn the whole picture.
The one thing I've learned following the market the last three years is that nothing can just go the way we would all like it to. My take is figure out a timeline and add about 9-12 months. During that extra time seems to be when you really start to get a good read on a company. By then most people seem to get tired of pumping and bashing and the companies have to stand on their own.
I've been recommending this stock to people actively since around .40. Even with that price point people get restless if the pauses are too long.
Unfortunately the MMs hope people short the stock just as much as they want longs to push it up. They win either way. All they want it to do is move to crate interest.
That daily short selling number doesn't mean anything. That number only represents the way trades are made. Only the short numbers from the 15th and the 30th mean anything as far as actual short positions.
mmrich1 - sorry but I have to disagree with you. This deal lays out a lot of strategy for INO.
First it tells everyone INO could be a major player at any time. Why else would there be interest from Roche.
Secondly it tells everyone INO has a partner that has deep enough pockets to fund ANYTHING INO could come up with in the future. Fast track needed--money is there. Multiple trials needed-money is there. My take on the disbursements is they can be made available at any time as long as things continue on the path they must be headed now--that's why Roche is here.
It also tells everyone the need for dilution has not only been lowered, it may have been eliminated permanently.
From my understanding DR Kim has said he doesn't want to sell. Without the current possibility to buy out INO why would Roche offer big money up front. They could have acquired a right of first refusal to back any and all INO research and products. It also sets the bar pretty high as far as who is actually interested in INO.
I also believe this gives INO's stock a little price protection. If the shares start to get beat down too badly I am sure there is information that could be released to give support. Roche knows they are not going to steal INO---but they have stepped to the front of the line for the opportunity to benefit from them.
I've been following this stock for a couple of years now. As it climbs the most read list, it will be interesting to see how much attention it grabs. Good luck to all here!
In case some posters had difficulty reading my post, that reference was made to the fracking industry.
At the same time, are you telling us no advances have been made or will be made in mining equipment or technology in the future?
Thank you for making my point a little more clearly. As you point out all the oil that is currently being mined was there for many many years. New equipment and new techniques has made land that many companies passed on very valuable.
I'm sure you can give me some reason why that can't happen with any other land or any other resource.
I wonder how many companies originally walked away from the Balken Shale formations? Seems there was never a shortage of oil on those lands. Now everyone wants a piece of the action.
Come on nit. The only reason people use numbers like that is to promote their way of thinking. It looks much better if they say it's down 800% when they are negative on a company. (actually it looks worse as it shows they have no idea what they are talking about)
It's no different than the way daily short numbers are misrepresented to make it look like there is a huge short interest. Most of the time a member of a certain group will be more than happy to point out how those number are wrong.
Wonder why anyone would try to justify any numbers to try and show more than a 100% drop in price? (that of course would put a stock at zero)
Why not just call it accurately both ways?
I'm not sure what the exact cause was. I thought your argument was the lack of export permit.
What have we got to lose--- the CEO has already disappeared!
On a lighter side, Maybe one of the sexy mexicans is taking over. That ought to get us to 20 dollars LOL
Interesting to hear your thoughts. Don't be afraid to send an email!
I agree but the company has resumed at some point. They needed to to get that shipment out. In order to resume they need some cash. Someone needed to believe they could generate income. I know there could be some very toxic financing in here, but I'm not sure that would even be possible if they are being watched so closely.
Your answers have been pretty even keel, I appreciate that.
We don't expect miracles (well maybe it would be a miracle) but we have all hoped for change. Appears that is what we are getting!
Janice
Regardless of what side any of us are on, isn't that the type of thinking we have all hoped for all along. That is my point. Seems to be a change here after so long with zero information.
If they want to do things right, that would have been a huge mistake. The SEC could have found it misleading because of what it did say, or because of what it left out.
Maybe they're just trying to do what they're supposed to do.
I can't disagree with you on the difficulty ahead. What I did find strange was the special mention of the first ever panamax shipment. A second panamax would go a long way toward generating the revenue needed to become legit.
There is a business here. That is the one thing that gives me (I'm sure a lot of us) hope. If the company was spending the time and effort to ship, there has to be something going on. The 1st shipment of ore was the first out of this port-- that is a fact! The panamax shipment was also the first of it's kind.
Those two factors don't seem to add up to the normal pink scam.
When has an APS play ever done anything?
Janice I appreciate your answers with so little known.
A strong question I would like answered by your side is why. Why would this PR have been put out in this way? The stock price has actually multiplied recently with no news what so ever.
Why not put out an even more generic PR saying they had shipped the full load to pay off debt and continue operations? Sold shipment for x dollars.
It appears to me that by including the other information, they are giving a little more of the picture. Why?
I know the information seems to stop there but why offer that up at all now?
Wait a minute. I though according to the board expert no money was really being made due to all the costs and low quality and lousy prices etc.
Now everyone is talking about how much money Bob siphoned off of the company?
If he siphoned off so much money, aren't you all saying profit can be made.
Most of all, why would they even make this announcement if they are dark and don't intend to do anything? Janice any thoughts?
This whole thing is supposed to happen within 60 days. Is there any chance we will hear of another ship coming that would clear the rest of the debt we have?
As others have said, we really don't know much if anything yet. If there actually is some sort of contract, could that also be PR'd prior to the event?
I had questions because a reverse split of that size if the stock actually had any value, would be approximately what would have been needed for another exchange. I believe the math would out it at 1.60 correct? What would be the requirement for a new exchange?
Just asking questions here
Fine for the transfer agent, but wouldn't he have had to file a report with the sec being a majority shareholder? I think he would have been disgorged of any gains if he was unloading shares illegally don't you think?
Janice- If this company was just reaching the point of being able to become solvent what would be the best way for them to leave their past and become a new company. I know we don't have any real information yet(what's new)but if the company wanted to actually have a go of it, would this be a proper way to do it.
We all know from the sentencing conditions that Bob would not be allowed to be involved. Won't we have to wait for a filing to find out where his shares have gone? Can't they just have been given to his daughter? Seems strange that he would do something that would affect himself negatively doesn't it? Everyone lists him as a crook,(yes I know he was convicted) so why would he do something that would make his own shares worth a lot less? If the new company has value based on a split multiple wouldn't it also make the shares he had previously controlled also worth full value?
A lot of questions is norm here.
Actually some are just playing around these days. I am sure most people here already own quite a few shares. As you know, if one group is allowed to paint too many days in a row it could set a trend for the chart people. When each side takes their turn the stock basically goes nowhere. I'm thinking that's pretty fair until some driving force can move it one way or another legitimately.
Actually lucky I have to agree with you on that one----wait did I just say that. They're going to take away my long license if I do that again.
Hope everyone on both sides keeps it as real as we can with what we can only say we think we know.
Many things we do know are happening with no dispute. Whose bottom line it ends up on we will see in the future. If it ends up being ours I hope you guys will spread that word as hard as you challenge now.
Sunny- the only thing we can hope for is that once the company is ready we get things in a manner we are all hoping for.(well almost all). Prs from shipping, contracts, land acquisitions, drill results.
We're not there yet but hopefully we continue to get one step closer day by day.
Even the naysayers have to admit that a company that is able to achieve first ever events has some worthwhile meaning. Just what is that worth most of us will be here to see.
I see at least one detractor has taken a supportive position.
Rocket, I also see one of the topics on another board is a successful short squeeze that involved an MM's short position. Seems to have caused some serious problems financially for the MM
While that is not what I am looking for here, I am hoping for the rare pink that actually becomes a profitable company. Seems those things do happen on occasion.
You are right! Every time we reach a new plateau an attack will take place that will try to drop us down a little. It's an easy game to play for them. As long as our progress is not too fast, and the company continues to ship material, we will eventually end up in a much better place.
I agree with JCM that the trouble Bob has had may help us all in the long run if it keeps the company on the straight and narrow.
Personally I believe Bob was taking a short cut knowing he would be able to get this mine up and running long term for many years. I believe initial funding was a problem he was trying to deal with.
Of all the stocks that are continuously under attack few if any have had a viable product. That IMO is the difference with CWRN. We will all see in the FUTURE.
If Bob just does things the right way, hopefully we will all do well!
Actually maybe we could frame the answer more simply for you.
No company has taken you up on your offer, why?
Is it the way you present yourself or your idea? (whatever could I be thinking)
Is your idea no good?
Do they realize you can't go anywhere on your own?
Do they just think you are the type that is impossible to work with?
You wouldn't just say the idea popped into your head because that wouldn't stroke your ego.
I work with researchers from all over the world on a daily (actually nightly) basis. State of the art lab in the seventies it will close in six months. Incredible changes happen over time.
As I have said, if your idea is good I wish you the best. Many of us are just tired of all the posts about you!
Mods will you please start deleting any post that does not pertain directly to OOIL technology. Saying you are trying to sell something to OOIL has nothing to do with their business model. It's time this soap box is taken away. Delete this post after you read it please.
I agree with you. I have never had a problem getting any response from the company and have been contacted in multiple ways.
None of the quotes mean anything when the market is closed. They always correct when it gets closer to market open.
Normally there are mods that are both for and against on each board. If a particular company has drawn the attention of the DD board for whatever reason then the balance can easily shift to 50-50 at best. You can tell when they are concentrating on a particular company because they will offer one of their "heavy hitters" which Lucky definitely is. (Janice and nodummy would be two others in that category) Some of our longs have a history battling that board in other stocks. They will then term your company a "cult" stock. When they act in concert with one another the board turns very negative.
Whether anyone wants to admit it, they are a very powerful group. Any company that fails to either have current financials, has a gagged transfer agent, has a CEO with a history, or even shows up on any of the most active boards will definitely attract their attention. They will also show a concerted effort if they feel a stock is being "pumped" too much or has any type of "promo" going on. When enough of their group act together they will almost always crash a stock.
Only a company being very "open" or very profitable (with an easy to trace money trail) can rid themselves of their presence. That is why many longs ask for Bob to bring things up to date. If you can get rid of them, your stock will almost certainly rise.
In case you haven't noticed, Lucky would like this stock to bomb. Not exactly the mod you should talk to if you want anything favorable to be posted.
Sometime we should meet at corporate on Regent street. That is one of yours right? Location is always a great key to success. Hope CWRN can prove they are in the right location.
You guys have to let a few slip through the cracks. group needs a million to average down a little
Jackle- Soundlnv- dontplayer
It's actually been nice to see a few new people post here. I don't own shares now but I have in the past and if things turn towards results I will again in the future.
My belief is that with all the contacts they have been making something may fall into place. Only time will tell.
Soundlnv- you are right to listen to all sides of the argument. That's simply wise whenever investing. You are also wise to question the motives of the others offering those arguments.
Amy is simply using this forum to promote his/her own research and Kimble obviously has a beef with OOIL.
No one knows where the future will take this company or even technology that is being created in this sector.
The fact that you are following the stock should give you the time to invest early if new developments occur.
Riggs does use private placements a little too freely, but he has also made an enormous number of contacts in the last couple of years. Where will it lead? Who knows.
The comparison really makes no sense. If INO traded at anywhere near where Google trades, they could sell 10000 shares and make more money.
I don't own INO yet but have been hoping to get in at the right price soon. INO needs the flexibility to raise cash to continue trials without having to offer partnerships at deflated prices. Having the ability to raise cash gives them flexibility.
I haven't read all the filings, but I believe many of those same insiders that have been criticized for long term warrants and options have also been buying fairly regularly.
I agree it may take time for the value to show, but how close can you cut it to but at the low price but see a rapid rise in a short time?
Just my own thoughts but I'm looking to add INO
Question for the board-- Has anyone else looked into the new technology being developed by Lockheed Martin? It relies on a new product called perforene. It basically creates a filter with holes so tiny that what passes through it is controlled at the atomic level. The first application they are looking at is desalinization. Frac water treatment has also been mentioned as an application.
Supposedly this technology will be available 2014- 2015.
Any thoughts?
I work in a research lab that hosts people from all over the world. Currently I have researchers from India China Turkey and France. The one thing I can tell you is our perception of what happens in other countries varies greatly from those of the people that live there.( wherever there is)
Just keep in mind connections in Mexico only last until the next cartel takeover. Politicians are no safer and in fact many times less so that those on the outside. The very reason is politicians take sides--that can be very dangerous for anyone.
