It's good to be loved, warts and all.
We could see some light selling here for the next 8 to 10 hours that the market is open. We have seen a 25% bump over the past 2 1/2 trading sessions. Wouldn't be surprised to see the mojos of the world take a little off the table at these prices.
I agree that there shouldn't be any significant re-tracement before news comes out, regardless of how long it takes for that news to get out. The next re-tracement, it's extent and duration, will depend almost entirely on WHAT THAT NEWS IS.
Announcement of pure spider silk with no mention of revenues or commercial deals of some sort, will be, as JB2 says, same old, same old. It will bump, and then retrace. Probably not all the way back down to 10 cents, but with no mention of immenent revenues, it will track down again in a short time.
I know I spelled immenent wrong, but I can't find spell check on here anywhere.
Doesn't look like any sellers are lined up. I don't have access to L2, so I might be wrong, and a seller could appear as quick as not, but dramatic, small volume rises tell me there are alot more holding right now than selling.
Somebody isn't hesitating to hit the ask this morning. Kinda heartening.
Please don't read between the lines of what I'm about to post. I am not questioning Kim Thompson's integrity, I'm not saying he has broken any promises, or missed any time lines. I am not implying anything. Please take it at face value.
If this stock is to form a new, significant bottom, a new significant support level, all those "he said"s have to become "he did". That is all I'm saying here. If he comes out in the next round of PRs and "says", we are in for another pop and drop.
Like everybody else here, I have thought alot about KBLB. I have taken into account everything Manshoon has, IMHO, proven, and everything Zinc has presented, and everything Mojo and longandsteady and Saint and everyone else has posted, and, without posting a 10,000 word disertation which I truly believe I could do with the info I have that would justify this investment in no uncertain terms, I firmly believe, in the long run, long term holders are going to make alot of money on this stock.
There is alot of ugliness involved in the CSC deals for investors, but all that ugliness should disappear IF, and only IF, Thompson has a PRODUCT THAT HE CAN SELL IN THE ARENAS HE HAS IDENTIFIED (Apparel, industrial fabrics, medical). As much as I don't necessarily like the CSC deals, the one thing it doesn't do is generate long term debt for KBLB. That's good. It does cause dilution, but even $1.5mil at 10 cents, discounted at 20%, only dilutes to the tune of 18,750,000 shares, which is about 3% of present outstanding shares. I've seen alot worse dilution than that from big board stocks in efforts to generate quick cash.
If the product is proven, as some believe is either in the process at this moment, or is the VERY NEXT step, and the product is marketable, there is no reason us long term holders shouldn't make a ton of money. In the mean time, there is no doubt in my mind that us long term holders have exposed ourselves to the risks that mojo has mentioned time and time again. WE NEED PRODUCT. WE NEED A DEAL. That, in my opinion, is all that is left. Fighting over the financing and science is all mute now as far as I'm concerned. I understand both as well as I think I ever will, and if I understand them, for the most part, properly, I'm in this until there is proof that there will never be commercialization. If commercialization gets dragged out, that will be a BIG RED FLAG. I don't have a time line, but I am anxious at each and every PR from here on out.
The very first post I ever made I stated that if you have 50,000 shares of KBLB, and you hold it for 10 years, you'll be a millionaire. I still believe that, at this moment. It's down to 9 years now. Still alot of patience required, but no more blind following.
They've never taken their website seriously. I don't think that anything will ever come from their website. They are going to cut deals and find partners/customers through face to face and direct marketing, which should make for bigger deals, I would think. Potential customers must already be identified and targeted. The only value I would think could come from the website is for investor relations, and when customers are retained and commercialization is secured, then I would hope they would be more aggressive with their web presence.
I think you said earlier that commercialization is the next key to this company's advancement. I agree whole-heartedly. I wouldn't be too concerned about the website being a source of that advancement. Just my humble opinion.
you wnat to see real risk?..hold ANYTHING long...
"Buy GOOD companies, and hold them forever"
Warren Buffett
He's done alright, from what I hear.
"pop the stock beyond imagination"
Try me, I have a great imagination.
Maybe Ducati's worms didn't hatch.
You're constantly telling Manshoon and JB2 that they're out of their minds and that they're seeing stuff that isn't there, but now you're seeing spacemen at a football game.
LOVE IT!!!!!
Not being combative here......Do you sense buying pressure building? The way I see it, Thompson will be making a draw here pretty soon, PRs are on the way, no doubt CSC will be selling to recoup the money they lent (I'm not going to argue this point with anybody, so save it), but the bid/ask ratio has been favorable for a price increase for awhile now. Are your indicators pointing towards a run upon the next bit of activity?
I wonder how the clothing industry allowed denim into the market. They sure have lost alot of sales since that introduction.
That can't be the proper share structure. There are more outstanding shares than authorized share? That ain't right.
A huge reason the Japanese automobile sales in the US went sky high in the early to mid 80s was due to the fact American made 6 cylinder engines lasted about 80,000 miles with regular maintenance, while the Japanese counterparts went 150,000 miles just keeping the oil changed. In alot of instances, the Japanese car wasn't all that much cheaper, but the life expectancy of the moving parts, plus the quality, put the US manufacturers to shame. Quality will always sell. We've gotten into a discussion on this board about how even if a product is better, it won't necessarily sell. That really is not the rule, that is an exception. Better is always better, and people always want better. In time, if done properly, spider silk will be comparable in price. The cost of production, done the way KBLB produces spider silk, is the exact same as the production of silkworm silk. There is no reason spider silk shouldn't be comparably priced after the initial introduction, and it could be priced at a premium because people are ALWAYS (rule, there are exceptions) happy to pay for quality.
He was very good for about 2 months. I think he won about 4 races in a row, and then that was that. But I remember him well. My buddy loved him, even named a stray dog he found after him.
Way back in 1982, there was a horse that ran at Longacres Racecourse in Renton, Washington named Mr. M. T. Pockets. There's your bit of useless blab for the day.
I had a very small stake, but I had to sell it today. This doesn't feel right.
280,000 at .095. Long time since we've seen something like that. On the flip side of the coin, we have 60,000 on the ask at .097. Those 280,000 shares on the bid could do alot of help moving us up if sellers don't come from nowhere.
I'm sure his PR advisor will be very cognizant of the timing of that particular PR. I also look forward to it as I believe it will have a profound, and lasting, effect on the stock price.
I think you spoke to soon. I'm not going to spell it out, but what is happening right now is pretty apparent to any open-minded person.
I'd put it at about a 99% certainty that Thompson is going to make a draw here in the next couple weeks.
I agree that it could be one holder needing money for something entirely unrelated to KBLB. However, I disagree that it wouldn't be to CSC's advantage to have the price of a share of stock drop 10-15% before Thompson makes a draw, and I disagree that it's entirely out of the question that if CSC could help it along, that it wouldn't be worth their time and money. Not saying they are, just saying that I believe the numbers would crunch and the effort wouldn't be wasted.
I don't know why somebody sold today, but I feel either scenario is realistic.
If CSC still has millions of shares, and they know Thompson will be making a draw here soon, they could be pushing the price down.
Just a thought, really don't know.
Mario Mendoza played shortstop for the Seattle Mariners for a couple seasons. It was always a major accomplishment for him to get his batting average up to .200. A .200 batting average became known as the "Mendoza Line". You either batted above the Mendoza Line, or below. When a good hitter started the season out slow, and finally, by mid May or so, got his average over .200, the joke was he finally got over the "Mendoza Line".
The Mendoza Line for CSKH is 2 cents, and since it quite often trades in hundredths of a penny, we can call the Mendoza Line, for this stock, .0200. A .200 batting average in baseball is abismal, as is a 2 cent share price for a company.
I grew up in Seattle. Very familiar with the Mendoza line. Lived through it. Haha.
Now would not be a bad time to set up a pump with one of the newsletter outfits. I hate those things, because alot of people get burned, and the chart gets artificially scewered, but now would be a good time for this company. They have some good news to tout.
I thought you were invested in SIAL, or SGMO, or both. Isn't that how KBLB was brought to your attention?
From Taco's discussion with Hansel, depending how accurately Taco quoted Hansel, you could come away feeling pretty good that 100% (give or take) spider silk was achieved. One of the announcements Ben said was forthcoming was the announcement of high content spider silk. It's like he already knows it's going to happen, but just waiting on some things to be able to announce it. None of us sat in on the Taco/Hansel discussion, but if Taco reported it correctly, it sounds like Hansel sees high content spider silk as a forgone conclusion.
Still, to limit participation to just shareholders, I believe, is counter-productive. I'm balking at the idea, not the specifics of KBLB.
NO WAY.
I was in a penny about a year ago that was in the 60-80 cent range, FDA approval minutes away, and is now today under a dime. There were dozens of posters screaming that there was something seriously wrong with not only what turned out to be the non-existant product, but with the CEO and his associates. These posters had cashed out months in advance, but stayed on the board to continually warn newbies and other stockholders. I can tell you as certain as I'm sitting here that those non-stockholders saved me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. I looked into their accusations, found them to have warrant, and got out in the mid 60s. I would be happy to e-mail anybody this company ticker. You can then go through the IHUB board for that company, look through filings over the years, and basically re-run the company for the past 5 years. Those non-stockholders saved many, many, many people literally thousands of dollars.
I had one nagging question.
I don't have PM.
Yes I would.
He just e-mailed me again. Was very courteous and understanding.
I'm very comfortable with it now. He even offered to receive my phone call. I don't want to impose on him like that.
Chill pill time.
Or....I could be all wrong.
How's that for commitment?
I'm going back to bed now.
This is my gut feeling.
I believe that the response came from an "associate" of Dr Fraser, but not from Dr Fraser himself. I have some very compelling evidence to "suggest" this. I'm still working on it, but I want to put that out there now.
I have reservations about the response I received. It's my own fault that we are where we are at with this as I posted the response way too fast. I apologize more than I can say. Obviously, my behavior puts tons of credibility questions on my head. I take full responsibility for that and accept it fully.
That's where I'm at right now.
I feel like barfing.
Folks, I have huge reservations about this e-mail I received. I couldn't be sorrier for posting it so quickly without first investigating a few things. But I was so excited by the response and it's content, that I just wanted to get it out there. Taco, I would strongly consider taking it down until we can clear up a couple things.
I'll e-mail you.
At this moment, I wish I hadn't posted it so quickly last night. I wish I would have sat on it for a bit. I have some reservations about it. I don't want to go any further than that at this time, but.......I just wish I would have waited a bit. I got so damn excited when I saw the response I nearly jumped out of my skin. I never really expected a reply, but then to receive such a well thought out one, I was, frankly, startled, and wanted to shout from the roof tops.
Dadofduck...Thanks for the private reply. I don't have those capabilities with my service plan here, but the last statement you made in your message to me.....I hope the same thing, more than you know, and I'm not talking about me. If you would like a copy of the e-mail I received, just PM your e-mail address, and I'll be happy to forward it to you. If you're already in Manshoon network, just ask him. I know he'll be happy to pass it on to anybody that would like to see it.
It's late and I'm hella rummy, but right now, for some reason, I'm wishing I hadn't hit the send button so quick. I'll elaborate later.
