I appreciate your enthusiasm. Do you have any independent confirmation, other than from Clayton, about any of the claims made by DKGR? The problem with the numbers is that that they are disclaimer protected projections. I would still contend, until they start making the filings and put those numbers in cement, as it were, we are in for a long wait. If they really have the goods, those in the know ought to be snapping up this stock but they are not. My problem, and that of several others here, is that we don't put a lot of trust in Clayton or Novak's PR's. They talk a lot, promise a lot, but have not delivered a whole lot. I realize that Novak / Clayton is running the show right now, down to footing the bill for everything, so I have to believe they need this to take off. As you can see, I am torn between believing and not believing. That is the result of being invested in this stock since before Novak came into it over a year ago.

Simple discussion question: How does a company that has gold, oil and diamonds still trade at $.01?
B
Didn't realize there were classified ad's for gold mines:
http://www.icmj.com/MineMarketAds.htm
search down on Jackpot and you will see the ad for this mine. Looks like Parkinson put the ad in on June 2 which would mean this is not one of the properties mentioned in the March PR. Wonder if he is actually the lessor? This mining business does appear to be a bit strange. Not saying the above is a bad thing, just find it interesting. By the way, no mention of Thunder Gulch, or Norm Pearson in this PR. Aren't they supposed to be doing the gold work? This is, unfortunately, typical of Novak over the past year, they continue to announce new folks, associations, etc... and then stop mentioning the prior ones. Let's hope this time it's the real thing.

Unfortunately, this is why CMKX is now part of the Drake discussion:
http://new.stockwatch.com/swnet/newsit/newsit_newsit.aspx?bid=B-577221-U:DKGR&symbol=DKGR&ne...
Adding Melvin was a huge mistake, from a PR perspective.
B
Respectfully, I believe the only way this will take off is if they actual make their filings. I think the Clayton / Novak factor is factored into the mix. At this point it doesn't matter how many PR's are released or what the substance of those PR's is. Unless they actual begin filing, or have some other independent verification of any of their PR claims, this stock will remain relatively stagnant. I am encouraged by their recent releases, but it would appear the market doesn't share that feeling. JMHO.

I hesitate bringing this to the board, however if you are looking for a possible quick double, look at NEXH. You must be careful with this one, lest you end up holding the bag. It's a Salt Lake company with some real estate holdings. It normally sits around .0002/.0003, but also tends to run a bit every few months or so to maybe .0008/.0009. It appears to be starting one of those runs. Now, be quick to get out when you reach your target as it drops as quick as it jumps. It had a buy reco today that is fueling a bit of a run. It's already at .0004/.0005 on good volume. If you're a gambler give it a look. JMHO.

Good to hear, however it doesn't appear these past two times those that you are passing the information along to are taking a chance. GLTA

That is good advice, however with a daytrade pick, you don't have time to DD a stock before having to make a buy decision. You buy and take your chances. If you take someones advice and it pays off more often than not you keep taking their advice. On the other hand, if you take their advice and it doesn't pan out more often than not you just stop taking their advice. Point being, you must decide if the purveyor of picks has a level of credibility you are comfortable with, or not. GLTA

I would agree with TheMaster, these past two picks ESSI and now EXSO just don't have enough volume to make much of a move. If only the MPC is aware of them, and only they buy, their not going to make anything off of them. Just a suggestion, but add a minimum daily volume filter to your model. GLTA

Let's be reailistic. Yes, there probably were folks who tired and sold, but the issue with DKGR (IMHO) is that the big money just isn't finding it. These PR's are good for the OTC crowd to find and buy / sell, but when this thing doesn't move in advance of "good" news, nor does it hold it's own when supposedly really good news is issued something just isn't right. Maybe there still isn't any trust in Novak, I don't know, but I also expected this to have a much better day than it had. Still wondering what your current thoughts on ESSI are also. Thanks.

Any follow up on ESSI? TIA

If you research the trading history for the past few months, the numbers don't add up. Either there are more shares o/s than previously thought, or the MPC can't have that many shares. Supposedly there are 250 million free trading shares (per that stockwatch blast). If the MPC has 100 or so of that we have 150 floating around. Well, since June 1, this stock has traded 215 million shares, going back to April 1 this stock has traded 501 million shares. The stock price is not moving like it should if there were only 150 million or so shares constantly changing hands. Food for though.
B
mikeanthony - It is public record, filed with the Nevada S.O.S. within the past month. Deal with it.
B
I'm hoping that was their way of getting the Marx Brothers off the officer list. Looks like their using Stefany's office as their "business address" at this point. If you look at Novak's past, specifically Matousek, they do interject themselves into the leadership roles in the companies they work for. I guess a positive, to me, is if he is in fact president it would seem that Novak can't just dump their shares without notice. GLTA

Clayton / Novak has been involved with DKGR, and it's prior iterations, for around a year now. Lot's of promotion, several changes of focus but no substance to date. Those of us that have been invested in this stock for the past few years are hoping Novak comes through this time around. Novak and it's associates paid off the debt of this company last year in exchange for shares so they should be motivated to get this thing going. I've sparred with Z on the other board, and am not attempting to do so now. Good luck to all.

As the board moderator, in order to spur a viable discussion, why don't you post a list of DKGR facts, or points of understanding about the company at this time. It might be a good jumping off point to differentiate fact from fiction. Just a thought. GLTA

My point is that Novak is in control. They call the shots, they bring the people in and then they report. Again, I am not saying this is a bad thing, it's just that your assertion that they are just a bystander to what's going on, IMHO, is incorrect. How did Novak get involved with a specialty wheel cover company in the first place? That business doesn't fit the profile of businesses they tend to work with. I think that is a fair question. Now, how did we get from wheels to mining? Who made that call, who got Leslie and Stringer to "resign", who brought in all of this "new" management. Correct me if I am wrong, but other than Stefany all of the folks that have been mentioned along with DKGR since February all have ties to other Novak companies. Bottom line, Novak is much more than just IR and therefore to properly DD DKGR, you must also DD Novak and it's associates. As I have said before, I will most likely be out if this reaches .02, but if it gets there and looks like it may still have legs in the short term I will hold awhile. .016 makes every share I own breakeven or profitable. Overall I am at a profit due to averaging down last year, so I sit and wait as this just keeps moving between .01 and .015. To date, nothing has allowed this to punch past .015, except for maybe short periods of time. We sit at the same price we did 3 months ago, lots of news since, yet here we sit. Good luck to all.
B

Actually, if you would do the DD and look past the Feb name change you would find out that Novak is in control. They own a significant interest in Drake and that ownership interest is valued at less per share than the stock is currently trading. I'll let you see if you can find this out. You are very mistaken if you think Novak is not pulling the strings here. Not saying it's a bad thing, just stating a fact. Good nite and luck to all.

Observation -
Go back through the price history since Feb for this stock. Look at the PR dates and what happens with the price. Have we gotten many big price spikes when news gets released? I haven't seen much. What I do see is that there are always a few folks on this board who, for several days before, seem to know a PR is imminent. Price and volume then goes up for a few days, then there is the "delay" before a PR finally gets released. Those PR's are interesting, yet lacking in a lot of substance. The price then either sits where it is or drops. I understand the buy on rumour, sell on news, philosophy with this stock, however, it seems to play out almost like it's scripted. JMHO

To follow up on Chadman's comments, here is the Drake story since Feb 06, based upon their PR's:
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060213/0109682.html
Drake Gold Resources Inc. Solidifies Position as Gold Company With New Website
Key comment in this PR:
"The Drake Gold team is preparing to completely equip the new site with all the necessary tools to educate and update the current and future shareholder base of the company. The company platform will be consistently updating with new information about Drake Gold and the gold precious metal mining sectors. The mission statement of the Drake Gold team is to offer the most comprehensive and elaborate site for the proper and full due diligence of both the individual and institutional investor."
That was four months ago, check the website http://www.drakegold.com have they met this goal? Nice list of PR's to date, laundry list of operations but not much substance yet. I guess I'd give it an OK, at least it is being actively updated.
Next PR, and this is the real fuzzy one:
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060216/0110227.html
Drake Gold Resources Inc. Announces Resignation of Management Team to Complete Transition
Key comments in this PR:
"Drake Gold Resources Inc. (Other OTC:DKGR.PK - News), a brand-new company that focuses on the exploration and production of precious metals, is pleased to announce that the full management team from its previous business model are resigning in preparation of new management announcements."
"The new management team of mining professionals including the mining engineer/operators is ready to be announced and begin to hasten the roll out the new operations plan."
There are other keys in this one, but let's just focus here. They say that Stringer, Leslie and Grey are "resigning". No way to actually prove this, so let's just take their word for it. No mention, however, of their ownership stake. The PR stated their team was ready to be announced in Feb, names have been coming out in PR's, however confusion over a few folks would exist, especially Biscan.
Well, this is a start I'll get to the rest later.
B
So are you saying there is a different PR from the one that is essentially the same PR that was put out last week about Pegasus?
If you want to research Novak, check out the guy behind it (Peter Matousek):
http://infoventure.tsx.com/TSXVenture/TSXVentureHttpController?GetPage=PersonSummary&PO_ID=10048...
Check what he has been involved with. Some good, some not so good. He seems to get put into the org structure of these companies, not saying it's a bad thing, just seems a lot of comingling. Check out his past with US Cement. Novak appears to recycle folks between the companies it works with / represents. Again, not going to say it's good or bad, just worth looking at. Good weekend to all!
B
Good to see another long, a.k.a. basher on this board, still around and kicking. Here's hoping that things work out for all of us!
B
MomoMonster - Actually been in the stock for a couple of years. I just used the eom Feb price to counter someone else who said that .013 was a great position. That's where it was 3 months ago, so not so great. A lot of my shares are already profitable as I averaged down last year. Some shares, however, won't be profitable until we get to .02. I want ALL my shares to be profitable. GLTA, just feeling feisty today.
B
Ladey, yesterday you said PR today gap to .015 and next stop .02 Now you say PR tomorrow because they like Friday's. Gee, you only started posting yesterday and you already are contradicting yourself!
Oh boy, didn't realize I happened on the Comedy Central website. Please, oh Giant Anu$, tell me how this stock is going to hit $.02, .03, hey lets just say $.05. That next PR is really going to do it. Nice to see all of you April & May newbie profiles are such experts in this stock.
Ladeytrader, actually no I don't. My 2/28/06 brokerage statement lists the closing price of DKGR at .013 so here we are 3 months and change later and I'm no better off. Sorry, need to do better than that. Where's that PR, where's my $.02? Try again. Thanks.
Put in an order to buy for over .02 and I'll oblige! .0138, current price, just doesn't do it for me. Please buy, buy, buy. Thank you.
How about you all disapear until this gets to .02 and then I'll disapear. Deal?
You MOMO artists are not doing a good job. Please work harder and get this gold light switch that looks like a wheel cover company to .02, at least, so I can sell all my shares for a profit. Please pump harder. Thank you.
Predator38
Simple question. If there has been no dilution why does this never run past .016? Every time this thing gets hot it pops to .015 / .016, but never sustains anything higher. Thoughts?
Predator38
Really, profitable. That will be interesting. Words in a PR, nothing else. Read the text on the website, looks to me like any $ Pegasus makes is going to go to fund itself. Not sure how this will make Drake profitable.
B
Chadman
Yes, those of us who are unfortunate enough to be long term investors here are the Bashers! Let's see, Pegasus has been in business for 5 years or so, but their cheesy website was put up 3 weeks ago. Maupin is associated with TNOG and Jacobson at least used to be. Now I can see why Pegasus joined DKGR, it's the Novak family cluster #$%#!^!
B
Oh yes, this is awesome. We did so well with the gold mining thing, we had to "diversify" into oil and gas as well. The acquisition is being done for all stock, which is restricted for 2 years. Items of note, this website for Pegasus Oil was just registered 5/18/06. Hey, if they can make $ and use it to fund their mining that would be great. However, to date, we have found the only thing this company can produce is PR's. What I really don't understand is how this was of benefit to Pegasus. GLTA

A PR campaign? $25K for one month and $10K to continue monthly? Seems overkill for a stock like this. Well, if they can pump the price up I'm game. Hope there is something substantive on the horizon to support this. JMHO

$ figures aside, what vote are you referring to? TIA

I received my Etrade cert's the day before the deadline. They never deducted the $40 from my account, however, even though the money is there. Way back when the cert pull was called and I requested the cert, they deducted the $40 (from available funds) then put it back a few days later. I am leaving the funds there in case they decide to still deduct it, however.
As for the practice itself of selling securities to pay for fee's and such, thats standard procedure for these brokerage firms and not a new thing from Etrade for this situation. If you don't have the money in your account to cover something they will sell your stocks to cover it. It's embedded in your account agreement somewhere.
B
Dragon52 - My point being if you solely look at the charts regarding the past trading history of a stock, you have to believe the factors causing the stock to trade as it did are valid and would apply going forward. If, however, the stock traded up and down, solely on the basis of P&D PR's, is that a valid basis for future trading decisions? I'm in the same boat as Chadman in that I don't follow the charts.
