We have a live blogger who will attend the hearing today, so events will be recorded in real time.
The SF Bizjournal wants pics if there is a perp walk.
Is there any hard proof of direct sales of PDR's? Is someone willing to talk and provide documentation of such a transaction? I have the ear of a couple of folks, but I need evidence.
viscious mission? Slow moving, perhaps?
If it's an exchange, it will be registered, approved, and regulated, eh?
well, 4god, you have to be a beneficiary of etrade and deposit funds there also. So the difference is?
Not open to the public? The PR's and solicitations to open and "fund" an account say otherwise, don't they?
And we will hear soon from Panama, eh?

My Spanish is very poor, so please excuse me for communicating with you in English.
This request is for information regarding a firm that claims to be establishing an international stock exchange in Panama.
The firm in question is a Dallas, Tx, USA firm, Panamersa. They are traded on the US OTC market, and have been actively promoting the purchase of their stock based on their supposed operations in Panama.
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070521/0255651.html
In the Press Release referenced above, the company makes the following claims:
PANAMA CITY, PANAMA--(MARKET WIRE)--May 21, 2007 -- Mike Terrell, council member for Fundacion Pan America, representing the North America region, today announced new projects in the works for the foundation along with the completion of beta testing for PDR Exchange (Panama), Inc.'s official trading site.
The company has issued numerous other press releases referencing this supposed exchange, and has solicited persons in the US to open an account on the exchange and transfer funds to it in order to begin trading. They have also solicited current stockholders to exchange their common shares, currently trading at $0.002 US, for Panamanian Depository Receipts (PDR's), and "guaranteed" a value of the PDR of $0.02 US in one year, a 1000% appreciation. See link below:

Is Fundacion Pan America/PDR Exchange licensed as a stock exchange or investment banker in Panama? Do your securities laws recognize the existence of a "Panamanian Depository Receipt," the supposed trading security of the PDR exchange? Are you at all aware of the activities and claims of this group?
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
Sincerely.
Wrong, cause. Else why have all these pinks been revoked for failing to file?
Just for openers, CMKX and SECI.
You are misinformed.
http://www.sec.gov/news/press/2006-21.htm
Really, cause? What exemption from filing are they claiming? Do be specific.
Cause-would you link to that law, and explain how it impacts the duty of a US public corporation to file audited financials?
And do link to prove that the foundacion exists.
I can't wait.
Cause-an audit would resolve the question, no? And without an audit, yes, they are lying.
So you think somebody gave the Foundacion a million troy ounces of gold? Please.
dle-not to mention that with the massive lies by management about earnings and assets, this could be suspended any day. This is Core Solutions all over again.
Novice-among many problems with Pearlie's hype, the "participation of iddigenous people" is the most glaring. Why the hell does she think has worked the small scale mining operations? Duh.

Steve-you seem to have great difficulty in providing specific backing for your fantasy claims.
And yes, the company is in receivership.
Nonsense, steve. What does October 15 have to do with Sulja? It's not on the SHO list, and the elimination of the GF clause has nothing to do with it.
And do back your claim of "government funding" of a company in receivership.

It's obviously a scam, al. Nobody but a con artist can "guarantee" a 1000% return in one year. It's a ponzi scam at best, and basic theft at worst.
Exactly where does that revenue come from, and what are the assets? If this were real, don't you think the company would rush to an audit?
And they don't why? Rufus comes to mind.
dont agree, friend.
Uh, cause, that's somewhat different than being licensed as an exchange, eh?
BS, banana, there is no panama exchage. Do check in with the regulaors. Get back with me.
Oh please, double dip, and that is how much in dollars? Try haeder, as Janice said.

Says that there is no exchange, and no application for an exchange under philippine securities law.
Do check back tomorrow or Monday.
Fl-try going to the source:

You believe wrong, fl. The revocation of the GF clause effects only stocks on the SHO list, and then only the .5% of FYD's that occurred prior to hitting threshold. It has nothing to do with all shorts, and only neglibably effects the handful of stocks on the SHO list.
Plus it only effects MM's. All other FTD's have been subject to delivery requirements since January 05.
Doubledip-odd that neither the SHO list nor the NASD Short Interest Report remotely support that claim.
Boston-I know at least one person who is attending court tomorrow, so we should know the outcome of the contempt ruling in real time if the court permits wireless laptops in the room. If not, then shortly thereafter.
The receiver is required to make monthly reports to the court, so look for that in early November.
Then there may be some leaks from former employees, although I don't think any of them are in the loop any more.
Lor-having the option to short a pink is one thing. Meeting the Federal Reserve mandated margin requirement is another.
Trader-margin requirements are set by the Fed, and they are uniform across all US brokers.
JKing-no new news, so I don't know, although delays delayed are often deals dead.
The receiver noted in her report, however, that Cristal Cruise Lines, which was 60% of the USXP luggage business, awarded the contract to a competitor, so I'm thinking maybe he got the business on his own and decided he didn't need the rest, or at least not for $100k.
Uh, steve, why would any of that happen in a public company? Makes zero sense.
Moosies celebrated in song:

Plasma-you bought into a pump and dump scam, and presumably lost money. Get over it.
That's all this ever was.
Hunting season? People shoot moosies?
The mooseie, jim? I thought he was attractive?
How about a massif of moosies, pup?
I like moosies, but gaggle doesn't ring the bell for me.
What is the plural of Moose?
Mollybedamned, gump? Now that is a pot of gold.
