Lol! My weekend started an hour ago! Will check in later for the next episode.
Lol...so you made up the John Deere story? Very funny. I read it and while it seemed completely ridiculous that the company would operate that way, I didn't really give it another thought. I was more focused on whether the CEO was lying. It appears by all accounts, he was..again. IMO. Time will tell the whole story. Liars suck!
Have a great weekend everyone!
:)
To be honest, I am speechless and that has only happened a few times in my life. lol Never in the history of following this stock have I seen such quick and timely proof of misstatements made by the company.
I have no doubt there will be a long blog that will be full of crap and spin, spin, spin about how this is not WNBD's fault and that the CEO's own words were taken out of context or those of us who can read are taking it all wrong or the reps at HD are wrong or so on.
Wow...just wow.
Amen Dr.
Why Eric does anything is always a mystery to me and thank God I can't read his mind. I believe your prediction about them discontinuing the little bottle too is very accurate but until then, I think I'll just focus on what has already happened. There is enough there to cause nausea. I hate to speculate as to what one may or may not do. That's a dangerous game with humans of all kinds. LOL
Well it appears Home Depot has chosen to carry the smaller "starter" version of WC. They are dealing with the IT issue. End of story. With this information in this post, it would appear there is nothing left to say about this situation.
I thank you, again, for your willingness to help get to the bottom of it.
Moving on....
:)
Home Depot Update
Launch Activity
by Eric Lehner
It has been determined that the origin of the “Out of Stock / Discontinued” mistake is that the standard UPC code of 1000+ Stain Remover as it is normally sold in the market (in single bottle units) is the one registered with the chemical compliance database, whereas the 3-Pack which Home Depot had been selling online has a unique UPC code used by HD internally. That is the one used in the inventory management database. Therefore, the UPC codes did not match between the two databases.
This did not arise before because HD is introducing a different chemical compliance registration process that had not affected this product previously.
The correction will take a few more days to go live. A decision is being made by Home Depot whether to introduce the single bottle SKU online rather than the 3-pack, as a convenience to consumers. A single bottle SKU would be beneficial for consumers and Winning Brands by making the product a much more attractive initial purchase for “first timers”.

I do continue to be perplexed by anyone who thinks that Hope sharing his emails from the CEO to be wrong. Unless there is something written within any correspondence from anyone stating it is not to be shared, it's all fair game. As has been said, anything a CEO sends any shareholder is suppose to be public knowledge including any deals the CEO is offering. One shareholder is not to receive anything that is not offered to any other shareholder. That's just common sense and the rules according to those who regulate these things based on my reading.
The fact the CEO has attempted to shame Hope for being honest and transparent is reprehensible and an all time low for this CEO. IMO Hope has no reason to hide anything as he didn't do anything illegal so why is the CEO so upset about it. I guess all of the self- soothing patting of oneself on the back while claiming to be "transparent" all of these years by the CEO isn't working any more as he is clearly not happy. LOL
Good morning my sweet friend. I find this all very odd. No one's life depends on the answer to this puzzle but if fixing the issue is as easy as the Home Depot representative said, why is it taking so many days to resolve? I just pulled it up on the Home Depot site again and the wrong msds sheet is still there as well as the discontinued comments.
This public statement is most puzzling... if having the wrong msds sheet or "chemical compliance data" "caused an automatically generated (false) message of discontinuation" and that msds sheet has been there since they started carrying the product on line as indicated by the date on the msds sheet, why is it just now "automatically" generating a message of discontinuation???
Is this another example of the ineptitude of this CEO or is there some agenda by Home Depot? Home Depot stands to lose/gain nothing for this to be proven just an IT issue. The CEO, well that's a bit of a different story though he has destroyed much of the chance this product had so there isn't much to lose at this point. IMO
Praying you are happy and healthy.
:)
Oh yes. Remember now. Almighty then...let's hope they're updating it as we speak and that should answer the big question! How many days has this taken? Lol.
I don't understand what the msds sheet has to do with whether it's discontinued or not.
The plot thickens. WNBD Ceo vs Home Depot USA. Stayed tuned for the next episode.....
Thanks for your time and intuitive. :)
It would appear something is amiss in the Home Depot USA world. The CEO well deserves suspicion about anything that is said so anyone who questions the sky is blue just because he says so is completely understandable and well warranted. IMO Dennis has taken the initiative to confirm what is really going on and I await further sharing of correspondence.
I, for one, do not believe this is something that will cause the CEO's nose to grow even longer. The ability to confirm or deny the claim is too easily attained so not being forthright about it serves no purpose and there is no payoff to do so unlike pontifications and carrot dangling of events that are to happen in the future.IMO I do believe this is a Home Depot issue.
I am thankful you thought to inquire. I don't trust anything the CEO says so will be happy once we get a final answer from the retailer on this. :)
Wow. On one hand, why would the store say it's no longer carrying it if its not? On the other hand, why would the CEO publicly state a falsehood? Are either just "misinformed"? Hmmm...
Omg!! It's perfect for several things.
Thank you!
Sadly, all true. imo
LMAO!! This is a public board and you have revealed the type of CEO he is...there is no "exploitation" going on! There is simple discussion about how messed up this company is and how shady the CEO is re: the emails he has sent you and who knows who else!
It is the CEO who has screwed those who hold grudges and rightfully so. Can not believe (or maybe I can) that he is now trying to shame you in to revealing the backroom crap he has tried to pull.
Thank you for once again shining the light on this guy.
Oh, don't worry...I know all about the excuses and blame games! All too well actually. lol Maybe the information that the computer needs to generate the right info on the website for the other products transferred ok. Who knows for sure but again, time will tell.
I understand your point but I do think this is truly just a screw up and not WNBD's doing. Then again, I could be completely wrong!
Happy Friday afternoon Tib! Just got home and started reading and you guys are cracking me up. I have no doubt the Home Depot US "discontinued" message is a computer generated issue and nothing more. The posts today have generated much laughter for me so thanks boys!
It's Friday for goodness sake...back away from the computer and go do something productive.
WNBD will be here next week...well..most likely. LOL
Da*n that chemical compliance data! LOL Glad that got cleared up before bedtime. Now I will sleep better.
So... where does this put the whole US HOME IMPROVEMENT STATUS CHANGE garbage that was full of innuendo about Lowe's and online Home Depot.com? You know...dangling that carrot and how nothing will really be announced until Q3/Q4?
I wait with baited breath to hear comments from the CEO on this one. LOL
Blog post dated Aug 21.
http://winningbrandscorporation.com/blog/
What stands out most is it says "no longer carries this specific product." Nothing from the blah, blah, blog master on this??? Surely there's an explanation about how it's due to the cycle of the moon or something like that.
Good to see you scup.
I don't think it's any of my business who may or may not have taken him up on any offers that may or may not have been offered. It is clear that hopetocashin received an offer or multiple offers but if someone wanted to take advantage of an offer to try to recoup their losses and that is legal...then it's their choice. I don't know if offers to current shareholders from a CEO is "illegal" or not just as I don't know if the CEO was solicited by a shareholder asking how they can help or try to recoup losses. None of that is information I have but I also don't think it's anyone's business other than the CEO and that person. If it's illegal...they will pay that price. Unless someone has something to share that shows things were done illegally, the accusations on either side are mute.
My point is also directed at those who accuse those like myself of somehow gaining something for not being a fan of the CEO. There is no proof anyone gains anything by pointing out the many facts of things that are wrong here with the CEO and how this company has been run or not run as the case may be.
The main point of my post is that the attention should be solely fixed on the CEO. Period. Just my opinion!
It occurred to me as I was working in the flower beds today that just as with the accusations made about the CEO that we all asked for proof on, the same should be said about accusations made against others. While there is clear evidence that some who did major leg work for this company were recouped their expenses, much of what they did do back then was all on their own. Like many of us, they did it because they believed in the product, they believed in the company and they believed in the CEO. There is also clear evidence that other than believing in the product, the rest of it was terribly misguided and has proven to be a huge error in judgement for them and for those of us who did ground work and helped promote the product with friends and family member, local stores etc... They were smart to seek/take reimbursement for expenses given the amount of work they were doing. They were not paid for doing the work, they were paid for anything out of their pocket and were smart to do so. Doesn't make them a bad person for being smart. From my interaction, they are blue collar working stiffs like so many of us who had high hopes of seeing those days end because they found this product and prayed it was their way to financial freedom. Didn't happen...for any of us. Very common story in penny stocks.
I do not believe, personally, that anything illegal was done. If there was it will show itself in due time but I remain skeptical and I live by the karma rule. If there are questions about anything being illegal or wrong, the CEO should be addressed. I do, however, remain vigilant about going up against anyone who continues to defend the actions of this CEO. There is no way to defend his actions (especially the R/S) given all of the public statements made and what has actually happened that now have become glaringly wrong. The CEO is the one that should be the subject of this board for the fault lies squarely on his shoulders.
ALL MY OPINION.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
I agree with everything you posted except this part...
So sick of people defending the CLEAR PAST and PRESENT issues with this company. The chart and the financials show such a major ineptitude yet they will kha as if he's the one who supplies their oxygen. Yes...for the love of God the product works but that means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for current or future shareholders if the company is run so poorly. This is obviously my opinion and I can only speak for myself but anyone with any sense can see it...IMO.
It's my bday weekend and it's time to open my new bottle of Tequila and get it started! Have a good one everyone!
Do you think the CEO will one day figure out that he has failed miserably in advertising the product and get his act together or will it take yet another 7 or 8 years before he finally realizes you have to let people know about the product before they will buy it?
Don't bother to answer...I already know.
GFY and have a great weekend!
These are all very legitimate questions. They are also questions that the CEO will most likely plead the 5th on. Most ceo's don't answer the hard questions but they are more than willing to have conference calls to pat themselves on the back or place blame anywhere but where it belongs. There was a time when this CEO had big conference calls and shareholders were encouraged to call in with questions but they ended as the company didn't have the money to pay for a service to have them moderated.
Uplisting? Not gonna happen in his lifetime. IMO
Fully audited fins? See answer above.
Thoughts on PPS? I am going to guess that he will see this as a "buying opportunity" due to the many things that may/may not/potentially happen sometime in the "imminent" future. IMO
GSA? With all of the work that went in to that and seeing it fail had to be quite a punch in the gut. Who knows what really happened.
No way will or should he comment on hopetocashin's posted emails from him. Too many negatives for the company to say a word about it publicly. IMO
Friendly funding? No such thing at this level and IMO there never was any available for a company with a history like this one. IMO
R/S? Yeah...I'll leave that one alone.
Shareholder value? Hahahahahahaha!
All of these things will never be answered...period. All stem from grave mistakes that have been made. I still contend that many things were not done through being vindictive (maybe I still have my rose colored glasses on) they were done simply due to incompetency. Whether anything was learned has yet to be proven. IMO
Agreed. It does seem to work as a "multi-use" cleaner.
The point of the post was to show that the smell can be an issue for some. It is a point of contention and I remain puzzled as to why the smell can't be toned down somehow. Not everyone takes the time to write a review so who knows how many others are affected by the strong smell. There are far too many other "eco" cleaners out there that work as well if not better and don't choke you when you use it, especially in a bathroom or small area. I would suggest this is looked at closely by this company instead of redesigning the bottle every year. After all, it's what's on the inside that matters and these new designs haven't seemed to make a difference from a revenue point of view.
GFY and enjoy your night!
I would agree. The majority of consumers who have used it seem to be pleased with the results. There have been other negative reviews but most often those show that the consumer was not diluting it and that doesn't allow the product to work as intended.
From one source of reviews... Amazon.com shows 45 reviews of WC (1000+) 15 of those reviews are negative and 4 of those cite the smell being "toxic" or too strong. The others simply say it didn't work for them.

I don't mind the smell of bananas but the it's just so overwhelming.
The smell will cause issues if used undiluted in my experience. Maybe ok if used outside with a good breeze around unless they have changed the smell. It's been some time since I've used it.
For me, when wearing my "housewife" hat...I would always choose something I don't have to have to find a spray bottle and deal with diluting it. The other glaring thing of course is that if I haven't heard of a product, I won't spend good money on something that I don't know if it works or not. Second only to money, time is not something most have to spend measuring and experimenting with new products. Everything from carpet to clothing...far too expensive to take a chance on an unknown product that may ruin them. Just one woman's opinion.
Advertising...still the Achilles heel.
