I am inclined to believe that it was related to the item's sales.

So the 3 pack was not selling. That is exactly what the Home Depot rep is saying. They may decide to try just the one bottle scenario and see if it will sell. I would take your guess of it being in a "trial" phase is correct. I am sure it's not going to be called that by WNBD but if HD does decide to continue to carry WC it will only be available as a one bottle purchase. Based on the CEO's comment that Home Depot is deciding which to sell...I would certainly call it a trial as well to see if it will do any better.

This brings this statement in to question as well now...

Sales in this portal have grown since the product was first introduced by Home Depot.com

I wonder what they define by "grown"? Meaning there wasn't any orders and then someone ordered a 3 pack?

At this point it would appear that the CEO's words do not reflect the facts stated by the HD representativeS. Then again, that is nothing new ultimately.
