Was having the engines installed the upgrade your referring to?
Not a management issue? By their own admission thru the insider, "In each of the prior attempts, there was always a factor that could have been attributed to Baltia's maintenance."
Baltia has no value to lose. Igor & John have never run a fortune 500 company either.
It should be going to the moon since Baltia is flying the FAA around on their proving flights.
"If a pass is recommended"? Are you trying to tell us now the local FSDO may not have recommended a pass?
On paper, Baltia has been trying to get this airline going for 26 years.(yes a great display of determination & incompetence).
Baltia has a 36 year old worn out 747, that Kalitta more than likely had originally purchased for parts.
Baltia has received 7 consecutive unfavorable decisions(aka failures). At least 6 of them have been attributed to Baltia's excellence of maintenance.
A more favorable decision is not forthcoming from D.C.
If mini-evac #7 wasn't a failure, then what is Baltia waiting for an answer to from D.C.?
Baltia hasn't been able get their wanna-be airline off the ground in over 26 years. In a period of less than 18 months, Eastern Airlines, America's newest airline, completed the very same part 121 certification process that Baltia has failed to complete.
There will not be a mini number 8 for N706BL. Number 7 was their last "one more try".
So the last 3 Auditors hired by Baltia turned a blind eye to questionable payments being made to, or on behalf of, officers of Baltia?
Even if you want stretch "Mid" to be from 9/2/15 to 9/29/15 there will not be any proving flights for Baltia.
Will Baltia's proving flights still be happening Mid September? They only got a few hours left.

So the Baltia employee we're supposedly getting all of this reliable information from is a proven liar?
Another unsatisfied customer.

Nah, in 2018 Baltia will still be waiting for a "more favorable decision" regarding evac failure number 7.
None of those items are forward progress. Both the Recurrent training & Amended financials are of no help to the certification process. And there are no Upcoming proving flights with 7 consecutive mini-evac failures/unfavorable decisions.
BBDA, like all Stinky Pinkies, are not affected by the "real market". All of BBDA's PPS sufferings are all tied to Brian Weber's hands.
I can go along with they aren't going to say they won't let Baltia be certified. But I think they have gotten to the point they will not certify them with N706BL to carry passengers.
How many passengers and or cargo has Baltia transported in their 26 years? You think a nonexistent airline is in competition with Delta, British Airways, Red Wings Airline, Volga Dnepr to list a few.
Who has Baltia been in competition with during its 26 years of being a wanna be?
No, Baltia is not in the same boat, or airplane, as Boeing. Boeing has had competitors it's entire life. Baltia has never had a one during its 26 years of pixie dust abuse.
Why are you limited to what you can share online?
The same proving flights that were going to start in May, and then June, are now supposedly going start within the next 12 days?

Is it legal in NC to sell beverages made with Hemp?
http://www.cheechandchongchillaxationdrink.com/
Their reply: I had an ALE supervisor research your question and he determined the beverage appears non-alcoholic. Based on that, the beverage would fall under the NC Department of Health and Human Services. There is a hemp exemption but the ALE supervisor did not feel the beverage met the criteria. The exemption is as follows:
90-94.1. (Contingent effective date – see notes) Exemption for use or possession of hemp extract. (a) As used in this section, "hemp extract" means an extract from a cannabis plant, or a mixture or preparation containing cannabis plant material, that has all of the following characteristics: (1) Is composed of less than three-tenths of one percent (0.3%) tetrahydrocannabinol by weight. (2) Is composed of at least ten percent (10%) cannabidiol by weight. (3) Contains no other psychoactive substance. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter, an individual may possess or use hemp extract, and is not subject to the penalties described in this Chapter, if the individual satisfies all of the following criteria: (1) Possesses or uses the hemp extract only to treat intractable epilepsy, as defined in G.S. 90-113.101. (2) Possesses, in close proximity to the hemp extract, a certificate of analysis that indicates the hemp extract's ingredients, including its percentages of tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol by weight. (3) Has a current hemp extract registration card issued by the Department of Health and Human Services under Article 5G of Chapter 90 of the General Statutes. (c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter, an individual who possesses hemp extract lawfully under this section may administer hemp extract to another person under the individual's care and is not subject to the penalties described in this Chapter for administering the hemp extract to the person if both of the following conditions are satisfied: (1) The individual is the person's caregiver, as defined in G.S. 90-113.101. (2) The individual is registered with the Department of Health and Human Services to administer hemp extract under G.S. 90-113.103. (2014-53, s. 3.)
I will forward your question to NC DHHS but you may want to touch base with them and voice your concern.
Thanks for sending the information,
I'm also waiting to hear back from the FDA.
When the Koma Throwbacks aren't selling, they'll bring back Koma Classic.
BALTIA already knows the answer. There never was a chance of getting a "more favorable decision" with 7 consecutive failures on the books.
Number 7 was their final one more try for N706BL. The FAA sealed the doors so there could be no more claims of sabotage.
It did happen and there is FAA public disclosure.
R1 EVACUATION SYS PN 7A1238-64, SN G1974, FAILED TO DEPLOY SUCCESSFULLY DURING A SCHEDULED DEPLOYMENT TEST FROM ACFT REGISTRATION.
http://av-info.faa.gov/sdrx/Query.aspx
Was the slide in question ready for use after it was deployed? No it wasn't which makes it a ... come on, its okay to say the word, failure. Just like the 6 times before the final failure. Baltia's employees should be use to it by now.
How can we believe "the local gave us their pass recommendation"? The FAA won't give this information out to the public, and Baltia says they "are dealing with information that cannot be released to the public".
Baltia completed section 1.5 several years ago. They can't get past section 3.7; of which they have failed 7 times.
It has been 4 weeks since failure #7.
Sounds absolute right. The FAA can't speak of the matter, but Baltia can.
If they can't tell us anything, then why are they giving that information out over the phone when people call the IR?
They won't respond to your emails because of the virtual paper trail. Call them and they'll tell you everything you want to hear, as long as you're not recording the conversation.
Hmmm so LT is the majority share holder now. Will he take over and stop wasting time & money on N706BL? May do as America's newest Airline did, and lease an aircraft from the 21st century that is capable of passing the partial evac?
They certainly do. Baltia had been renewing their policies for the whole year. This time they saw the writing on the wall and only extended the previous policies for 90 days.
Baltia is running out of "Next Weeks". They've only got 2 Next Weeks left.
Apparently Baltia's crack management team had so much confidence they would pass the final evac-demo, they only extended the insurance policies 90 days; they expire 9/13/15.
Thunder Over Michigan air show will be this weekend. Baltia, the wanna be an Airline, could not afford the minimum sponsorship. http://www.yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/sponsorship/
I've heard of people sleep walking and others of talking in their sleep. But your the first to post to Ihub in their sleep.
Instead of buying the over priced BBDA products, you can buy melatonin gummies for a whole lot less money.
They did the same thing with the ice cream.
2.5BN for a Stinky Pinky is NOT THAT Bad, if it were true.
