Now the false stories start! Unbelievable! Now the slide exploded huh??
The fact are the slide deployed perfectly yet during the inflation process part of the slide (the final unfolding stage when the slide deploys) became entangled in the guide straps preventing it from unfolding all the way. In a true emergency a slight adjustment by the Stewart would have allowed the slide to become untangled allowing for use. During the mini the Stewart's are not allowed to touch the slide and only can open the door to activate the slide. But a true emergency everyone knows the stewarts would obliviously shake a few straps and move a couple things to make it usable! Let's use some common sense here!
The Fact is Baltia is still waiting on the decision from the FAA. We could go back and forth all day about this it doesn't matter to me. The argument can't defeat the truth! Baltia publicly stated what happened and where they are now. To aurge any different is dumb!
Quote from the CEO's Update:
In our view, the escape system still could have been used in an emergency.
The FAA is still determining Mini 7, this is a fact and stated by the company! They are deciding if they feel that the slides could be usable in an emergency. Exactly as stated in your post regarding this regulation! Searching for a sentence in the FAA regulation is not going to change the FACT that FAA still has not given a decision! Good luck though!
Thanks for the Info!
We should be hearing something "soon" from the FAA on their decision!
I just love when people only read half of something!
UNSATISFACTORY DEMONSTRATIONS. The severity and basic cause of the deficiency must be considered. Minor deficiencies usually can be resolved by responsible company personnel without having to declare the demonstration unsatisfactory.
A. A demonstration is unsatisfactory if the operator fails to meet the specified time limit.
B. Crewmember ineffectiveness or equipment malfunctions may be grounds for declaring a demonstration to be unsatisfactory.
C. If a relatively severe deficiency occurs due to improper company training, procedures, or maintenance, the demonstration should be declared unsatisfactory.
The key phrase here are equipment malfunctions may be grounds for declaring a demonstration to be unsatisfactory. maybe or it may not be depending on the severity of the issue in the FAA's eyes.
This is what my buddy John told me today about Baltia!
Hey Firestream,
I am very happy to see Baltia's update on its Facebook page. It perfectly matches my understanding of what has been going on these last many weeks.
The results of the mini have not been determined....neither pass, nor fail, so "appeal" is certainly the wrong word.
What is going on...in my opinion...is that the FAA wants to give the thumbs up to mini evac #7.....since clearly the staff did everything correctly, and everything under Baltia's control worked perfectly, and the imperfection in the test (that was out of Baltia's control) was addressed....above and beyond the call of duty.....but..... they need the official approval from their legal department first.
I have been in business over 30 years, and in every business dealing I have ever had, it is always the accountants and the lawyers that F things up.....and by Fing things up, what I mean is that it is closing in on 14 weeks that we have not known the results of a 15 second test.
Think to yourself every test you have ever heard of in your life.....from your school years to college, and even into medical testing or soil testing or even forensic testing........13+ weeks to get a result?
That's what I mean by "Fing" things up.....but this too shall pass.
Baltia will prevail.
Hang in there.
Godspeed Baltia, its personnel, and its loyal shareholders..........
I don't know how you got losted in these posts? All I have been saying is that they did not fail #7 and you stated that they did because it's on the SDR. You are wrong and I showed you and others this and explained it so a baby could understand. Yet you are tring to spin my words that I'm arguing that Mini 7 wasn't a fail because the SDR doesn't show it??? Some on here have no clue! Whatever if you don't want to believe the company or the FAA's SDR of what happened the night of Mini 7 so be it! Most here can see your posts don't add up!
Yes I have pulled up every SDR. I guess I need to explain what a SDR is to people that just don't have a clue! A SDR is a Service Difficulty Report. It is for equipment on an aircraft that has a issue to function correctly and used as a reporting system for the FAA. It has nothing to do with Baltia failing or passing a mini. No report shows the Baltia Failed any Mini from these reports. Only that a component of the aircraft had an issue. It's obvious that they did not pass 1-6 since there was a mini 7. This is common sense! People do some DD first before making comments that have no relevance! SDR's don't show Mini failures period!
I have and will admit I was wrong on my estimate of proving flights Being Mid September. No one expected the FAA to take this long on a decision! Now it your turn to man or women up that the FAA did not fail them on Mini #7. The company stated this as fact!
It appears some here didn't read the CEO's update very well so I'll repost it so you can understand what's truely happening!
BALTIA UPDATE:
First off I would like to thank each and every one of our valued shareholders for your patience and dedication. Without you Baltia would not have come this far.
I know that many shareholders and others who have been following Baltia’s air carrier certification project have called and asked for an update on where things stand with the FAA. One of the questions is "why is it taking such a long time?" As many of you know, Baltia submitted a request to the FAA that the company’s Mini-Evacuation drill #7 be considered a “pass”.
Our request is based on the following:
All required doors opened and slides deployed in the requisite amount of time. Baltia’s crewmembers performed their duties satisfactorily; in fact, they received accolades from the FAA for their professionalism and performance. However, the slide on door R1, after proper pack opening and initial unfolding, became entangled on its internal geometric guide strap during the latter unfolding/inflating sequence. In our view, the escape system still could have been used in an emergency.
United Technologies / BF Goodrich, the slide manufacturer, concurred with Baltia’s analysis that the malfunction was caused by an internal slide packing error by an appropriately certificated and rated repair station, that did not follow the manufacturer’s maintenance manual as instructed by Baltia. The error could not have been detected during Baltia’s comprehensive receiving inspection.
Baltia’s Chief Maintenance Inspector and the repair station’s Quality Assurance staff have worked diligently to determine the root cause of the discrepancy and, most importantly, implement a comprehensive fix to prevent reoccurrence. These actions have been completed.
The FAA is considering Baltia’s request. While we await the agency’s decision, Baltia’s staff is continuing to work on the remaining certification tasks and the ongoing maintenance of Baltia’s aircraft. We have advised the FAA of our desire to expedite the path forward.
Again, thanks to every one of our investors for your support.

I think you need to read the whole SDR and not just grab words out of it to make your own story! The SLIDE failed. NOT Baltia, not the crew, not the door the slide was attached to, not the FAA's door blocker.... The BF Goodrich (like stated in black and white on the SDR) slide failed to correctly deploy in the latter stage of opening. Uncontrolled by Baltia! Just as stated by the CEO. Get real people, even when it comes from the FAA you say it's not true?? Unbelievable! Also I never said we passed, you are also falsely accusing me of stating that! I said the local FAA recommended a pass and now we are waiting on the final decision from DC. People really need to get facts straight before they speak so not to come off incompetent!
Exactly.... They don't know and only stating false statements by saying Baltia failed! Can't provide an ounce of proof in writing!
I think you are mistaken, I never said they passed. I said its in the hands of the FAA to decide still, just like the CEO stated, yet you still say they failed and can't show a ounce of proof! Get real people! Not making a very good case for your claims!
So show us the facts that Baltia Failed as you stated? Show the documents from the FAA that that Mini 7 was not passed. Show us documents that it is now out of the hands of the FAA on Mini 7. Because I showed in my previous post that the CEO of Baltia stated to the public that it was in the FAA's hand and the are awaiting a decision from the FAA. That the slide manufacture admits it was not Baltias fault with the slide being tangled! And it is not an appeal! All facts from the company. Yet you have nothing to show in writing......Or do you??
Agreed! The real shareholders have now regained trust in the company! We all now know of the few trusted sources on these boards were telling the truth by what Baltias CEO's statement confirmed. And they all know who to believe now for the facts about what is going on with the Company! So try all you like but most on here now will see right through some here! You all know the ones I'm speaking of!
Baltia has already secured passenger and ground service arrangements at JFK and Pulkovo II Airport in St. Petersburg. The city of St. Petersburg is a major transport and cargo hub to Eastern Europe and Russia being Russia’s 2nd largest city after Moscow with 5 million inhabitants. St. Petersburg is only the beginning for Baltia Air Lines as we hope to emerge as the premiere U.S. airline in the Trans-Atlantic market between the major U.S. cities and capital cities of Europe and other destinations.
Baltia expected to make 20,000,000 the first year with one plane. At least 5 other planes with new routes expect to increase profit over the following few years! What a scam this sounds like! Lol

So let's recap! Local FAA stated that they recommend Baltia pass Mini # 7, the CEO publicly states that mini # 7 is still under review by the FAA and it is not an appeal and further more the slide manufacture has admitted that this was due to a vendor and out of Baltias control. Yet some on here that are not involve one bit with the cert. process with Baltia still say they failed??? Hummmm...., which one would I believe you must ask yourself??? I hope you would be smart and pick the FAA personnel and the CEO of Baltia!!
Also some on here say that Baltia is nowhere near certification??? Lol... Ummm the middle of phase 3 is not almost there? Shows how some here do not know the Part 121 process. They are at stage 35 of 39 steps to be certified people. It's simple math to figure out we are close!
What's next? Let me guess....when Baltia gets Certified here shortly it will be that Baltia is really the KGB and going to spy on the Americans fly on the airline! Or maybe Baltia is really going to smuggle Black market weapons in from Russia to the US? Can't wait for these next claims! Like I said before..... Get real people!
Or buy!
Yes there is... When the local summited the recommendation for Baltia to pass to DC, Baltia also summited documentation to support their position of what happened on Mini #7 so no misunderstanding happened while DC reviewed the test for approval.Baltia knew it might be a grey area so they got the slide manufacture involved and the facts summited to DC before a unreadable decision was made and a real appeal had to be summited.
Still not good enough huh? So many times stating where's the updates? Now a true update from the CEO stating that they are not appealing and what is happening and who they are waiting on.... THE FAA! Yet still not good enough? Get real people!

Baltia Air Lines finds themselves in a unique position
Baltia Air Lines finds themselves in a unique position amongst the debt-ridden airline companies of today. With minimal liabilities and a huge potential for profits, Baltia Air Lines projects to be profitable within its first year of regular scheduled flights. That’s at 64% capacity with just one Wide-bodied B-747 aircraft. With numbers like these, it’s no wonder Baltia Air Lines has been dubbed as "America’s Newest Airline" by many.
Like Alaskan Airlines, Baltia Air Lines has a concrete plan in place to steer clear of the atrocious debts that the major airline companies like American Airlines and Delta Air Lines carry. While several of today’s airlines lease their aircraft from larger corporations, Baltia Air Lines owns their Wide-bodied B-747 aircraft and intends to expand its route network and fleet aggressively into the future. If all goes to plan, "America’s Newest Airline" will expand and thrive amongst other major airline competitors.
CNN website claims "Baltia Air Lines Third Pilot Group To Create Excess of $110 Million Net Income"
In what is being deemed as a financially strategic decision, Baltia Air Lines (OTCBB:BLTA) recently began training its third set of pilots in preparation for passenger flights. The second and third flight crews will join the first group, who completed training several months ago, on the proving flights. Many see this as a move by Baltia to be more adequately prepared for post-certification flights. However, the company’s 747 aircraft does not require three groups of pilots, hinting at a likely acquisition of additional aircraft.
It is likely that Baltia is in the process of purchasing four 747’s that Delta Air Lines retired in mid-2014, and is training additional crew to operate a second, third, and possibly fourth aircraft prior to first flight. With a goal of assembling a fleet of four to five planes during the first year of revenue flights, Baltia is positioning itself for rapid growth.
Due to fuel costs being substantially lower than Baltia’s pro-forma calculates, profitability may increase to 30% or more, driving net income to an excess of $90 million at an aircraft load capacity of 64%. The realistic load will be closer to 90% or more, thus Baltia should be capable of generating 26% more net income, or over $110 million in year one of flights.
Trading multiples for established airlines typically fall between 10x and 14x earnings. However, companies that are in their first few years of generating revenue frequently trade at 20-30x earnings. Therefore, by the end of the first year of flights, Baltia should see a valuation between $2.2 billion and $3.3 billion, without consideration of other variables such as industry growth, marketing, and additional expansion.

St. Petersburg's Pulkovo International Airport was voted one of Europe's finest in the Airports Council International survey of customer service in 95 of the continent's airports; in the dining category, it took first place.
St. Petersburg's Pulkovo International Airport has been named one of Europe's best in a survey of passenger satisfaction in 95 airports carried out by Airports Council International [ACI], the airport's administration announced on Tuesday.
The airport was named Europe's fourth best by passengers in the second quarter of 2015; the airport hopes to maintain or even improve its ranking before the final recipients of the 2015 award are announced at the beginning of next year.
Pulkovo received the ranking after getting rave reviews from passengers in a range of categories.
The airport took third place in users' assessment of the accessibility of ground transport, the competence and courtesy of check-in staff, and the meticulousness of pre-flight inspections.
The airport was voted fifth best in Europe for ease of transfers, and came in second place for the quality of service in its business lounges and gate areas.
The highest accolade came for the quality of food and drink in the airport's cafés and restaurants, which took first place in the catering category.

Hey Darth, what did Peggy at the FAA say today about Baltia when you called? Hopefully you were able to get some good DD about Baltia from her? Hope she gave you some good news about the pass of the last Mini so we can call Baltia and let them know their current status!
This does make sense, since a black panel is visible at each door window with a wire taped down the belly of the plane. During the Mini's I would always see white LED light illuminate on the outside from those windows just before the slide deployed! Probably a indication that the LED panel is functioning. Yet one obviously still did not function correctly that night allowing 6 doors to be opened!

I never said they Passed, OBVIOUSLY! I said they should not have failed for opening the 6th door due to a FAA item not correctly functioning!
That's my bad on the date! I was trying to figure it out and thought that might be it. Obliviously it wasn't that night! That Night that Mini was cancelled due to the fuel in the wings not being evenly balance and rescheduled. I was only guessing on that date being Mini 3. I have heard from Multiple reliable sources that Mini 3 was failed due to a failed FAA Door Blocker. Not sure the exact date though. There was a few Mini's that I could not be at due to having to work.
Right! Only 6 SDR dates of 6 out of the 7 Mini's. Reason I say dates is because there were 1 or 2 mini's that had 2 SDR's in the same night. Two different issues.
You might be right, just trying to go back throu photos and SDR dates to figure it out.
I think 01/22/15 was Mini 3. Not 100% sure that was 3, but Check the SDR no filing for that night. Check out my post that night! Post # 31259
You are correct, Mini 3 did not have any equipment failures. Baltia was unfairly failed due to a FAA device Failure! Yet Baltia didn't complain and moved onto the next mini like the FAA asked! It's time the FAA stops messing with this company and the shareholders that own a part of this company and make the right and far decision!
Baltia's Goal:
Baltia's goal is to become the leading U.S. airline in the Trans-Atlantic market between the major U.S. cities and capital cities of Europe and other destinations.
Baltia intends to provide high quality three-class passenger service, and reliable cargo and mail transportation.
With experienced management and in a lucrative and growing travel market Baltia intends to soar to success.
"Baltia's Plan
Baltia plans to increase its fleet of airplanes after initiating revenue service. At the time flight service is inaugurated, the Company plans to employee approximately 30 management and 50 crew members and staff.
Lol... Why is it an appeal if they didn't get a fail?? I don't follow you? An appeal would be if the local said it was a fail and Baltia felt it wasn't and went to Washngton to change it. That's not what happened! Local gave their thumbs up as a pass and now the FAA in Washington is making their decision. How is that in anyway an appeal?
I never said anything about Peggy Gilligan! I don't know if that is the lady handling Baltia or not. You are getting people posting here mixed up I think!
And why do you not call? Can't you call Monday and report your findings to this board? You found the info on this lady at the FAA and want others to call for you. Call her and we can hear what you say on Monday!
