could be the animated gif of the cat
some malware (with strict settings) will get very annoyed by that kind of thing
whenever the oddball MMs try to fill in a wall, you just know it's b/s
That what it looks like
they just aren't used to losing
they do this so often and it works out for 99.9% of the time, it's just impossible for them to change
there really doesn't look like much past nite here
Remember all 13+ million shares shorted in Feb alone
look how thin that ask looks
i had an order set at .06 (nothing huge, but more than 5k) and it wasn't showing on ask
I have since raised it, lol, but this is looking interesting
NITE backed off to .34 for a bit
i wonder the same, $ spread too thin IMO...we need more focus here to make it happen
well that looks like u can add 25k to the short list
haha, i can see it now
30k @ ask
MM 5k @ bid
30k @ ask
MM 5k @ bid
30k @ ask
MM 2.5k @ bid
30k @ ask
MM 1k @ bid + "F$##%@^!!!!!"
30k @ ask
great ty!
it's only gonna take one to crack
Software question: Hey all, I have been involved in a few lock downs with you all, but I was curious as to what software you use for intra-day (day trading).
I don't know a day trading account, so I know my limitations, but I can still pull off a day trade now and then without penalty.
I am currently using the iHub L2, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on software (L2, charts, real time stuff).
Thanx
yeah, BMs keep going up

Short Volume: Aggregate reported share volume of executed
short sale trades during regular trading hours

http://regsho.finra.org/DailyShortSaleVolumeFileLayout.pdf
That brings the total CDIV executed short sales reported to FINRA in February to 12,871,319
Clarification about short volume on CDIV:
As we have seen, a bit of poor reporting has claimed only 100k shares of CDIV have been shorted.
1. The claim cites www.pinksheets.com
2. pinksheets last updated their "short" info about CDIV Feb 12, 2010
3. CDIV is also listed as "pink sheets limited information" on said website, meaning, they only have limited information
4. Enter FINRA - What is FINRA?
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), is the largest independent regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States.
(more: http://www.finra.org/AboutFINRA/index.htm)
5. FINRA produces a short list daily
(link: http://regsho.finra.org/regsho-Index.html)
6. What does the short list show?

8. Who has the more complete information? pinksheets or FINRA?
CONTINUED: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=47176371
I sent the SEC a nice letter about how the author of the article was printing false information on stocks ( the alleged paid promo site is a domain that is up for sale)
the # doesn't work? lol, bad numbers, bad info...ridiculous
yeah, i posted that earlier, and noted, the more you dig into the article, the more mistakes you find
and someone also pointed out how the author seems to leave out positives as well
bring on the squeeze!
I got the article:
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2011202733_sundaybuzz28.html
it's basically a typical bash, (very cramer-like) citing pinksheets, but failing to mention finra
the entire tone is bias, but take a gander and make your own choice
AND, it fails to recognize the fact that the float is gone
EDIT: WOwzers, the alleged paid promo website that the article cites is not even active...it's a search page that is up for sale
talk about quality reporting
interesting, guess who visited the CDIV board right at that exact time? i'll give you a hint...B.....Y.....
when CDIV shot up to .07 around June, was that part of a squeeze back then?
only 100K shares shorted huh?
20100226|CDIV|964979|1559303|O
finra would disagree (and that is only 1-day)
Lol, it's a japanese/chinese thing
my wife is taiwanese, and she explained the cat is a good luck thing for businesses. it's supposed to bring in more customers (or $). it's waving you in, not out, like "come money money money."
i think this shows just how much of a corner the MMs are getting themselves back into
my guess was rather close i said sixty plus earlier
held well , and the more they short, the higher w e gooooooooooooo
i agree, a nice monday would help
i will have to check the charts later, but i think we crossed a significant resistance, but that will have to wait til later as i am currently fighting with a computer
edit: oops looks like someone already posted about the 5o day MA
hey, yeah i was watchin most of the day, and it basically sat at .o23, maybe .235 all day
i don't know if bie hidden, or jjust people wanted in so they hit the ask...but either way, nice day
solid day here
heck of a rally
yeah, i don't own tons, but have been in since .11...up and down, still holding
i'm looking for north of 1.25
i'm not so sure about that, as a lot of this looks like a planned MM attack, IMO
wouldn't be surprised to see %60+ shorted today EOD
worst case for me, is that my parents funds clear monday and they get in cheaper :)
and i think they are MMs dumping FTDs
the harder they [MMs] fight, and the dirtier the tricks they pull are, show just how close they are to losing their grip
they r in trouble
having new MMs + arca show up at .29
they know it's close
and here comes the wall of air @.29
