I’m sorry but I don’t know what those brokers did in those cases.
I did all my voting for the Nwbo proposals either directly through proxyvote or in my brokerage’s message links to voting my shares.
A big brokerage like fidelity, Schwab, Ameritrade, etc., is not going to jeopardize their reputation and won’t knowingly play those serious games.
I can’t say either way about Robinhood as I never dealt with it nor have I looked into their services as I’m happy with my brokerage and pay no commission.
Again I’m sorry I couldn’t help.
Looks like my last post responding to the BS effort to try to get nwbo shareholders to destroy their own investment’s success never made it to the message board.
Don’t let the negative narratives fool you into hurting nwbo and thus DCVax where their negative efforts are failing to destroy nwbo so far.
We all know that the AS increase is mostly to make good on the equity commitments already, including the C shares, and a modest amount more. We also know we risk a RS otherwise as stated in the proxy materials.
We all continue to see the negative narratives shift and morph from an endless attack script of the day to the next attack script as the narratives fail and are debunked, one by one.
This big effort is not about nwbo, it is about protecting many billions of dollars and trying to make sure the many new billions of dollars get into certain pockets.
The big negative narratives effort isn’t about right and wrong and it isn’t even about the cancer patients and families, and humanity.
It’s about money and who gets it and who makes billions (like MM) in the process in the market, etc.
So voting against your own company, if you believe in the science that has now shown breakthrough advancement where ALL others have failed against GBM, is aiding and abetting the opposition where they have failed themselves.
Do you really believe that standing in the way know will somehow help, rather than add to the problems to overcome?
There were a couple of posts earlier about receiving their proxy info in Canada but having trouble voting using the proxy code. They reported that you can call the designated phone number for voting and based on your name and address, be able to cast your votes.
Guess I read the date wrong off the max time chart, since the incident was in 2007.
Looks like sp hit about $1273 back in 2002?
Believe it or not I think when this incorrect Swiss approval news broke, didn’t the share price go to something like one thousand dollars?
I’m remembering some due diligence showing the news was reported in the New York Times and the share price spiked straight up.
This was before my time as an investor in nwbo.
Maybe the second time will be the charm
They even explained why they were going to not post for awhile, so no one should be surprised.
Thank you, beneficiaries have been established for years and nwbo is a relatively small portion of assets, but might wind up becoming the largest return on investment in my 50+ years in the market, hopefully in time for me to experience it!
Of course it may not work out as expected, however the risk reward and probability of success has never looked better and success is within sight, even for a very nearsighted guy like me
It happened to be a long journey fraught with hazards along the way, some existential, and against forces that to this day want to BK nwbo.
And it’s not uncommon for a tiny experimental/clinical stage biotech to take a long time to get through trials that require lots of money and time. Add the promising longer time to eventing and allowing the survival and fat tail to undeniably be established by actual passage of time, and you have a necessarily long and frustrating journey.
Add alleged spoofing and false narratives and there you have it.
The miracle is that nwbo/ucla have brought this breakthrough new hope for humanity to the imminent approvals that are deserved and above all desperately needed to make the biggest advances and hope and longer life available to us all !!!
It’s like they used to say decades ago in IT context, you don’t get fired for recommending IBM, not that there was something wrong with that, only that it was career risk to go with less established companies.
Eventually as the early adopters either helped establish a track record for new companies, they either built customer bases and reputations or not.
For GBM and nwbo I think it could be a different, more rapid discovery process because, let’s face it, survival of loved ones and individuals is affected.
Imo, when options for treatment in GBM are examined by patients and doctors, approved options that show medical trial efficacy and a growing number of people who are alive beyond any other option, demand will grow very quickly.
What would you want for yourself or a loved one?
The rest, like no longer being viewed as a sub dollar stock or possibly a risk to a network or reporter, will take care of itself, imo!
There has recently been more official communications than in previous years, but sticking to mainly required disclosures.
However the next steps have been outlined:
+ Sawston certifications
+ phase 3 trial top line results met
+ peer reviewed JA in a top journal
+ PIP approved
+ law suit against alleged spoofers
+ final Sawston manufacturing approval
+ MHRA (UK) marketing approval
+ uplift off OTC if still applicable
We can go on but these steps get us to a much better place and any other positive events put us better.
It’s true we don’t yet know the full game plan such as JV/BO, licensing, go it alone, etc., but I do trust management to increase share value and their big rewards are tied to share value increases.
Thanks PM!
It’s getting to be like election night coverage with the red and blue states and the what-if tote boards (not tote bags.)
It’s certainly your business how to vote your shares, however should the authorized shares increase not pass, which I expect is unlikely, it would force a R/S and we can kiss our market cap and stock price goodbye because the shorts will be all over it in a feeding frenzy, imo.
I think there was some breaking news about that, that Los Alamos just accomplished a net positive cold confusion!
What, that was cold fusion….. never mind!!!
(Btw it was a long and winding road (hey, I’ve been watching the Beatles Get Back rockumentary) to get to that dud of a joke, if one could even claim it to have any humor )
Might be the deepest sentiment of the year!
Wow! Who needs Confucius!
Thinking the same thing, that making good on the C shares and/or some other 200 million shares of common would de risk the shares after the vote.
If we cast aside the myriad possibilities and look at “running the ball straight ahead towards the goal line,” we have been clearly informed that Sawston manufacturing is awaiting final approval, and with the PIP approved, once manufacturing approval it is a direct step to secure UK approval.
The manufacturing approval is expected any time within the next 15-30 days.
So assuming UK approves, which seems telegraphed as very likely, a deal can be made before or after approval at what I presume would be significantly different terms, unless such a deal as NotTheSlowest described is done.
FDA surprises us before UK approval, I wouldn’t bet on it, and I’d prefer UK approval because it raises the ante for the US.
Maybe we can claim that as another benefit of DCVax platform technology and give the little blue pill a run for its money
Yes it is ironic and enlightening!
Plenty deals have been made by BP buying pre-approval biotechs.
Given how the leading COVID vaccines seem to require tweaking for new variants and there’s talk of diminishing duration of effectiveness as each additional wave of boosters are deployed, and that for difficult hot cancers such as GBM, I feel better about the DCVax platform approach which inherently is “trained” on the individual’s particular tumor composition, and there hasn’t been any heart related side effects identified unlike the Covid type rna vaccines.
She was hired as CFO but then lateraled to CIO and LP added the CFO title to her position.
There was some speculation at the time that maybe Davis wouldn’t sign off on something or maybe job alignment was required, and I don’t remember what other guesses were put out on the message board for speculative consideration.
That’s a good one
Chain gang in the crypto cell block.
Actually it’s sad whenever anyone comes across bad times, but I guess it’s like Barretta used to say, Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time, don’t do it !
I figured that is why OJ bought a house in Florida. Can’t go after the house nor the nfl pension I believe.
And Kenny blurts out, it’s the next best thing to MM wealth
I’ll just use customer’s deposits to pay people to read for me.
In fact, I don’t like the sound of pages being turned, so I’ll pay for a reader for each page.
Isn’t crypto wealth great!
Do you have a hhrroooommmmm ?
Thanks Bio !
I think it is 25 common for 1 C share.
I remember seeing an equivalent price per C share paid by JJ as $23.xx, where I don’t remember the fractional (cents) and the total cost to JJ of around $600,000.
Playing around on a calculator with $23.xx and $600,000 gives a C share count closer to 25,000-26,000.
So perhaps my recollection of 28,4000 shares might to off some.
The reported info is available in the filing and press but I’m too lazy to look it up unless there’s a particular need for the accuracy.
I think it was something like 28,400 C shares
We get any more patient and we’ll all be toasting Michelin puff logo marshmallows men!
It’s truly ridiculous how the sp is clamped to $1.00 today.
I’ve watched the volume for a while this afternoon and I saw traders of around 100,000 shares and 1,000-10,000 trades, and never above $1, but little 100 share trades chip away at the sp so far this afternoon.
And the volume is decent, not low, overall.
It is true that Coca Cola isn’t a skeleton crew in Atlanta however they are much smaller than if they had tried to do it all.
Regarding the bottlers, Coca Cola has indeed gone from owning the bottlers to not owning the bottlers, and in between owning some of the bottlers, depending on what the best model was at the time given some key factors.
But Coke always made the concentrate as the most profitable and protective of the secret sauce.
Beyond not having to take on the capital in plant, delivery trucks, machines, and labor all over the world, by employing the bottlers, and by partnering with restaurant chains all over, Coke also is seen as a local provider of jobs and investments because distributed partners and bottlers are local.
Have a sudden urge for a cheeseburger and coke…. No coke, Pepsi
Partnership/licensing structure would be attractive in order to keep nwbo core a relatively small team while least limiting the combinations of partners, combo trials and combo sales, and indications to go after.
Also keeps DCVax more under friendly control than selling it to one or a few parties.
Might not be fully thought out, but it might be analogous to Coca Cola with its secret formula. Like Coke and Burger King, Coke and McDonalds, Coke and Wendy’s, KFC, etc.
All their products go better with Coke. Granted these partners don’t have to patent their combos, and fast food isn’t treating deadly cancers.
The more partners and venues that offer Coke, the more Coke is sold. And the partners benefit by increased sales of their products, especially products that might be inedible without the Coke.
Too simple, maybe. But if Coke wanted to approach all those different customers going solo it would require a huge, less efficient and less effective Coca Cola trying to be the best at food and hospitality all over the US and the world.
That leaves a burning question:
Would you like fries with that?
If nwbo comes to fruition as the high reward investment we are expecting, i will not venture near the otc again regardless of how promising the opportunities may appear!
I like my playing fields level and the refs calling things as they are.
A stock buyout by M or other BP would be perfect for my situation taxwise and for retirement income, and legacy wise, but we’ll make due with cash if it must be
Dr Liau and Dr Musella are caring individuals doing great good in their own ways and don’t deserve to have their reputations sullied in even the slightest way, especially by mercenaries who trade humanity for coin!
Didn’t turn out so happy for Judas when he sold out, and evidently he had a conscious since he hung himself.
As for evidence of wrong doing, we all have experienced it and the trial against the MMs has evidence that is likely only the tip of the iceberg.
Greed is not good and corruption is not good. There’s enough to be made and lost in the markets fairly by skill and luck, not hook and crook!
Think about it this way. If all the sporting events such as baseball, football, basketball, etc., were obviously rigged and chronically cheated, what values would they retain and what moral and aspirational consequences for our youth and society.
I guess it boils down to those who want to win or lose ethically and fairly, and those who want to win by any means or just don’t care except for themselves.
Good night y’all
Alas, I hear you and very much understand, and appreciate that you care!
Anybody else seeing the nwbo quote at the top of the message board changing between $0.941 closing price and something like $0.8xxx ?
Any chance you’d come to the USA and run for President?
Our current political leadership (both parties) seems to have forgotten some of the basics of integrity and equitable governance and law enforcement.
I sure hope our childrens’ children have better role models for integrity than who seem to be in the public eye today!
This is naive for sure in that there have been profiteers around for as long as there’s been profits to be had, but trying to live by more naive principles may be better than handing the keys over to criminals and those with low integrity.
Magrit, I’m a retired engineer and used to get jolly when solving the integral equation yielded a solution that agreed with the empirical measured data, or architecting and systems engineering clean solutions to problems.
So at best perhaps a science ho
Pleasant dreams !
