Keystone - where did you get the info this is a $70M offering? From the press release I've seen, the value of the offering has not been set yet.
JL - where did you see the 20M ADRs?
Gee BioBill, if I felt as you (i.e., stellar RI results won't be enough to break the ice barrier) I'd be looking to get out now while we are north of 4.
Extremely sorry CEO
BB - If this is how you really feel, then why do you keep holding the stock. FWIW, I would sell and move on to something where I see light at the end of the tunnel.
Bullsh!t
zip - I see what you are saying. I've never tried to margin my AMRN holdings. I do like my house:) Thanks for the clarification
zip - not sure I follow. My main trading account is with Fidelity. I've bought AMRN several times on margin.
Marki - quick take, but if there is some logic or sense to the reply I can't seem to find it. We'll have results from RI within a year.
Thanks Sam - FFS really nailed it:)
Sam - Probably won't hear much from FFS and his declining scripts for awhile.
FFS - Cut the crap about declining scripts before your eyes turn completely brown. Scripts will continue to rise.
FFS - You really think Dr's ramped up prescribing V on account of being informed that the 80% look was coming? Complete nonsense. Are you trying to replace Pyr as the boards new perma-bear?
BTW - was in Montana the past week. Had a great day fishing at Yellowtail south of Hardin. Not fly fishing, but great none the less.
FFS
Sam, Sorry, these numbers mean nothing because they are in the rear view mirror - mainly due to the run up to the 80%IA
Sure seems from the above you were implying the strong script numbers were due to the 80% IA. Not sure how else to interpret your statement.
DOA - maybe a little strong but you've sure been pounding the negative pavement lately.
As I said before, this is not the first time scripts have dipped a couple of weeks in a row. Those two weeks do not a trend make. Also, the numbers we get this week will also be down due to Labor Day. I suggest patience to see if there really is a trend over the long term. I think there will be and it won't be down.
FFS - Really? The August script increase was due to the IA? Wow, I'll take some of what you are smokin! Seriously, that notion is absolutely ridiculous. You keep harping about the two down weeks since the IA. Don't know how long you've been following AMRN, but there have been plenty of similar occurrences in scripts over the past 2 - 3 years. Now, this week's numbers will reflect Labor Day, so numbers likely won't look so hot. You need to chill and give things a few weeks before pronouncing AMRN DOA:)
FFS - You are way to premature in drawing your dire predictions from the last three or four weeks scripts.
K and Bio - Thanks for the responses
Thanks JL, but I did not catch anything in that article that seemed to support the case of interim looks. If anything it seemed to argue against (at least in the beginning). What am I missing?
I'm sure this has been discussed before but, why in the hell did AMRN even have the 80% look. I mean, they have been adament all along that the trial would run to completion. I imagine (correct me if wrong) that these interim looks cost money. So, if correct, why bother with the 80% look? It seems that all it accomplished was to further lower investors expectations of a successful trial.
Good question.
Sam - Thanks for the heads up on Cantor coverage. I'm getting an error when hitting the link
JL - Well said, as always. For the first time in several years, I feel hope as I sense change in the air.
Hope so. It is in dangerous territory now. Below a buck. I doubt ATNM would hesitate to do a RS if need be to maintain listing. Once that happens, forget about it.
BooDog - Thx for the response. I obviously need to do some research. Is Lomab-B their top prospect? (in phase 3 I believe)
BooDog - You seem pretty optimistic with ATNM. I took a small position after the secondary so am pretty much a newbie. What's the basis for your optimism?
JL - Nope. Must have me mixed up with someone else. Been holding/adding since the Adcom.
Surprised there is not more discussion tonite on todays thrashing. Me, I lit my hair on fire - just managed to get it extinguished. Didn't seem to be much support today. Probably more of the same tomorrow
Any thoughts on where the bottom may be? Perhaps here at the conversion price, or God forbid, lower...
JL - Are you familiar with a company called Qualitas Health. I just googled them up today. Produce omega 3's from algae, including those with high EPA to DHA ratios. Currently privately held. Anyway, was curious what you think of them.
marzan - where are you seeing the 1000 $8 Oct calls? Don't see it on Fidelity.
Good point zips. Like roaches, they come out of the wood work when PPS is climbing. At least they are transparent.
If it walks like a duck, talks like . . . well, you know
HD - Come again?
Well, another round of dilution. Was extremely disappointed in the $2 price. That said, what happened Friday is very similar to the 9M or so dilution they did last fall to acquire TeraSquare. PPS had closed at $2.15 on 8/20, then dropped to $1.65 on 8/21 (day of secondary announcement). They had priced secondary at $1.70. I was ticked then as I am now. However, within two months the pps had recovered and went on to new highs.
Let's hope history repeats itself. Shouldn't be long before we hear of the next acquisition.
Yea, right
JL - Welcome back - we've missed your wisdom
Sounds a little bit like your volcano, but in reverse. How'd that work out for ya? Certainly, you realize that your credibility on this board is pretty well shot?
Anyone still following this POS? Are we gonna dip back into the one's? Avi keeps yapping about how they've built shareholder value. Wonder what that means to him?
ZU - I like this line "U.S. demand for EPA supplements and pharmaceuticals is expected to swell, Nissui board member Yoichi Sekiguchi said"
Still have the house on the river...
