BTO SBUX $60 calls @.08
So I'm kicking myself. Saw a massive Oct $25 call purchase on Monday for KRA, a company that most days trades 0 contracts. Told myself to wait for a retrace....alas it has gone parabolic. Looks like a buyout bid, but I just can't bring myself to chase. Should have just ponied up the cash on the inflated premiums and done it....
Looking very well played at the moment...
Closed out a few more GOOGL Apr29 $900 calls @.45 from .15
Still have a healthy position and about 1:3 put hedge $675 weekly
Took some VXX $16.50 calls off @.40
This is what it sounds like, when doves cry
I'm ok with that...Lohengrin you buy calls, my existing calls start cranking. Keep up the good work
What rumor?

Biogen Reports First Quarter 2016 Revenues of $2.7 Billion
Source: Business Wire
First quarter 2016 Non-GAAP diluted EPS rise 25%; GAAP diluted EPS rise 27%
Biogen Inc. (NASDAQ: BIIB) today reported first quarter 2016 financial results, including:
Total revenues of $2.7 billion, a 7% increase versus the same period in the prior year. Growth was driven by a 15% increase in worldwide TECFIDERA® revenues as well as increased revenues from ELOCTATE® and ALPROLIX®. Revenues were partially offset by a decrease in worldwide interferon sales.

Non-GAAP net income attributable to Biogen Inc. increased 17% to $1.0 billion.
GAAP diluted EPS of $4.43, a 27% increase versus the same period in the prior year.
GAAP net income attributable to Biogen Inc. increased 18% to $971 million.
Hey buddy
Bit of a divergence with both SPY and VXX elevated yesterday and today pm....
Unless it's a topping diamond....in which case the measured move takes GOOGL to ~$557. Or it all doesn't matter and I'm wrong. Really tough pattern to find and prove....usually produces outsized moves though.
Yo yo
Just released Gallup poll shows only 52% of American own stocks, a 19 year low.

Has to give at some point....even sideways consolidation should be good for 19 on VXX
In VXX $16.50 calls @.20
Pretty convenient timing on the GOOGL antitrust announcement...
Anybody who reads any of my babble on here may remember this post from 12/31 where I said I'd be looking for a position in gold miners (IAG specifically). I took a sizable position and it has doubled since then. Good on you if you followed. DDD, SSYS and TWTR are looking pretty solid as well.
Just reminiscing a bit...
"Re: uranium-pinto-beans post# 279579

Figured I would check in last day of the year. Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours everyone.
New Years resolution....find a bottom in gold at some point this year (before EOQ2), pick a couple of small yet stable balance sheet miners and get some 2017 dated calls. IAG is at the top of this list.
Also...looking at some beaten up tech names to mount a comeback this year as well. DDD, SSYS, YELP, TWTR to name a few.
Be well and HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
No options on this one yet....but I own it from ~$471
"Eh-hem.....tap tap tap (microphone), HOW MANY BUYBACKS AND LAYOFFS YA'LL GOT...and why don't ya'll got no $2Mil Wu-Tang ALBUM?"
Drops microphone, proceeds to naked short
That's why they aren't taking off.....where are the buybacks? Where's the debt? Layoffs? Crap company
Forgot about that...
Got ya....always looked at them a IP Infringement litigator gun for hires. Good luck, I know a few people who hit it big on that company years ago.
Don't think they develop those patents....aren't they a PAE?
Interesting regarding Golden Cross:
Median 1-yr return after a Golden Cross with a *rising* 200-day avg = 3.7%.
With a *falling* 200-day average = 18.2%
The great tech wreck of lunch hour Apr 19.....we are witnessing history here people
Expect a RS announcement for DUST any day now...
GOOGL testing 10EMA at $772....potential bounce zone
In SPY 209 puts for dt....usually don't post my day trades
Also added a few weekly GOOGL $675 Puts (1:5) @1.00 for protection
Sold GOOGL Apr29 $900 calls @.40 from .15 (enough to take cost off the table)
Locked and loaded and set for earnings with no stress.
Likely going to take cost off the table this morning and let the rest ride
Yo how you doin Stutz! Yep, have next weeks $900 calls from .15
