How many shares at this price does it take to make a large pizza. NITE,ARCA,PHUT(pizza hut). It'll turn around, eventually.
Wonder when this filing with the sec will be out, it's not there yet. Glad, I guess, that I'd bought a little bit of rim back at .08, maybe it'll get some love. hehe.
i sold out weeks ago, with only a little left in it, I wont give back my huge gains, but I will start buying back in soon. I've got another stock I'm fixing to bank off of until then. Oh and bought some land to build my dream home on :)
Here's some insite to the filing off the sec site.
Research Ownership Interests
A company's registration statement and its annual report on Form 10-K will tell you who the beneficial owners of more than five percent of a class of equity securities are. Research reports on a company must disclose whether the securities firm issuing the report (or any of its affiliates) beneficially owns one percent or more of any class of common equity securities of the subject company. The issuer's registration statement will also tell you about private sales of the company's securities during the past three years. . In addition to the disclosure requirements in the new rules, you may be able to ascertain ownership by checking the following SEC forms:
Schedules 13D and 13G—Any person who acquires a beneficial ownership of more than five percent must file a Schedule 13D. Schedule 13G is a much abbreviated version of Schedule 13D that is only available for use by a limited category of "persons," such as banks, broker-dealers, or insurance companies.
Forms 3, 4, and 5—Officers, directors, and beneficial owners of more than 10 percent must report their holdings—and any changes in their holdings—to the SEC on Forms 3, 4, and 5.
Form 144—If an analyst or a firm holds "restricted" securities from the company—meaning those acquired in an unregistered, private sale from the issuer or its affiliates—then investors can find out whether the analyst or the firm recently sold the stock by researching their Form 144 filings.
As of November 4, 2002, all statements of beneficial ownership on Schedules 13D and 13G (including those relating to the securities of foreign private issuers) must be submitted electronically using the SEC's EDGAR system. While the SEC does not require that Forms 3, 4, 5, or 144 be sent electronically, some filers choose to do so. If you can't find a form on EDGAR, please contact the SEC's Office of Public Reference by telephone at (202) 551-8090 or by email at publicinfo@sec.gov. Or check the "Quotes" section of the Nasdaq Stock Market's website at http://quotes.nasdaq.com/.
Unlock the Mystery of "Lock-ups"
I'll be at this years meeting too, ready to kick a$$ if they've been squelching.
I like sevi, but it's no secret that dilution is weighting it down. That filing i've never seen either, but if they filed for beneficial owner status maybe that means they're gonna hold on to some of their stock for some longer terms. may be wrong though, but that's what it seemed like.
Once this heavy pounding of conversion slides, we'll get some breathing room. The l2 quotes are thinning down a bit to as these guys have the squeeze on, so maybe a quick jump to .003 when they turn off the burners.
Yes this diluting hussy is getting converted like mad. Told you they offered shares for pizza.lol. I bought a crapload at .0022 also, so it's time for some upside. Everytime r. rhodes emails me back from my bitching, he says noone owns as many shares as he does and the pain is mindnumbing. Makes me feel a little better, now it's time he step up. IF the stock is being converted to retire more outstanding debt rather than create new debt it could be ok, only mildly ok. Less debt, less riduculous interest, then maybe some love.
I don't know about people posting hype on here moving the stock. Most people in here prob own it and are looking for morale support. Americanbulls.com has got it listed as a buy confirmed and reuters on etrade had it listed as a buy for months, but that hasn't brought it to life. We need real non fluffer news before it will move much, everyone is watching like a chess game, but now it's rims move. If they report sales the stock will go crazy, if they report nothing, trickle down to crapola.
Didn't rim say in most of there older posts that they were using more complex algorithms, better compression has nothing to do with line speed and power, which would in no way have anything to do with shannons law. There are alot of things that can take advantage of better compression, new medium enterprise(nmen) is releasing a red laser dvd that is on par with current blue lasers and that was considered impossible. Why can't rim have stumbled onto something.
Oh and all the people who keep posting that rim was $30 bucks years ago. During the dotcom era wasn't everything grossly overvalued.
Yes, the interview, those guys were not fluffing, that's good, it makes me feel better since r.rhodes seemed to have his ducks in a row. He has to follow through on his word. As for the 10k showing an improvement in the last quarter, he explained why in the interview in a roundabout way.
If trading penny stocks, watch for ones that take a % after 5000 shares, cheap trades turn expensive.
I had already written this stock off, if I can recoup at .40 then maybe my 200 emails and 40 phone call messages won't have been in vain. The reverse split was done in the nastiest fashion, still stings a little.
Due to the current cold weather status of the stock I bought 200000 shares the other day at .0018. I'm still nervous since taking a HUGE hit on this stock, although I do feel here its pretty undervalued. We will get no real relief until practicaly bottomless conversion shares stop getting issued. Those guys sell like they have an axe to grind and I still think they issue shares for pizza.;O
I don't remember stating that i was a pro at all digital. I'm pretty swift at paintshop, and have done a quite bit of web design. The html is not what I used in sites, since this is the only forum where i've placed a picture, oops.
Leave the picture to your imagination.
Sorry, maybe when i have time, i'll be able to post hate mail 200x a day like you, then my forum pic posting skills will match your inability to cope with criticism.
Here's you a fanclub picture! go rim go.
Where to start, first, I'm only defending the fact that they prob. had a standard web designer make their site. I don't have an axe to grind, but I lean towards liking rim.
Oh and they prob. didn't try to "cover" the picture, just trying to make it look feasible to it's application.
Also, these programs don't have trademarked logos, just standard pics, uncopywrited, for general use. Rim would have pulled down their own logo to a new layer, skewed it, then bam, you've got a pic.
With the resolution in some of their pics, if anyone was trying to fool you it would have been easily done, since the pixel count is so low.
Oh, and my loss of credibility doesn't bother me, I've got a stock that I'm eating crap on too, so I see why you guys are so aggressive in bashing it and any of its remote supporters, no harm no foul.

You are really talking out of your A$$ aren't you. You apparently know everything about everything. Web designer, stock pro, detective, dsl designer, computer guru, I bet you've got a rocketship made of household parts. Maybe instead of posing your posts as questions, since apparently you think you know the answers, just post your opinions. I told you what is really common, take it with a grain of salt, I've done web design and can walk circles around most in paint shop, many versions of art programs come with thousands of preloaded pics. You don't have to steal from other sites, you can just use pics off of various programs.
As for 2 through 4, who knows, as for 1, it's very common for web designers to use pictures from various databases and touch them up a bit. Most web designers aren't modem geeks (or whatever product they are designing a site for), it's basically about the presentation. Often if actual products were displayed they would be boring since they were made to perform, not to look pretty. Sort of like the golden ratio, visually appealing. Kindof like the chair I bought at the thrift store, most comfortable chair ever, but my wife would kill me before she'd let me keep it in the living room. appearance.
Might be an opportunity to buy now, I wrote Robert Rhodes a couple weeks ago and complained about what they're gonna do for the stock. He wrote back assuring me that he owns a crapload and he felt my pain. I had to get a bigger monitor to cover the commas in my losses, after 2 huge gain flips, I'm way in the red. Problem is, if they try to make any acquisitions, they will have to either do a reverse split, or somehow try to squeeze more shares out which may not be possible at this price without issueing 1b plus shares to cover the cost.
I'm worried that with the filing taking this long, any news will be overshadowed by a maybe a 50m share payout to an accountant.I'm pulling for it, Here's my SOS.
RSMI chat room to change name effective September 27.
New name will be BTDH chat room, for beat the dead horse, since hardly any of this information can be deemed practical and is VERY redundant. zzzzzzzzz
remember this
PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2006--
Rim Semiconductor Company (OTCBB:RSMI), an emerging provider of
semiconductors to the broadband telecommunications industry, is actively
pursuing the broadband security market with emphasis on secure high-speed
modem-to-modem communications. As a part of those efforts, in November 2005 the
Company began initial discussions with the U.S. federal government about how
the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
can use the Embarq(TM) family of transport processors to increase the security
of their wireline communications. As a result, in December 2005 the Company was
invited by the General Services Administration (GSA) to respond to a
solicitation for information technology equipment in which it proposed the
government's deployment of Rim Semiconductor's transport processors. The
Company tendered a formal offer to sell chipsets to government agencies and
submitted an extensive package of materials. In January and February 2006, the
Company made a presentation and conducted follow-up meetings with the GSA. The
Company plans to continue to work with the GSA until a contract award is made.
President Bush's proposed budget for fiscal year 2007, which begins Oct. 1,
2006, allocates $550 billion for the DoD and $43 billion for the DHS. While
there is no assurance that the Company's efforts will result in a particular
dollar amount of purchases by the government, if any, the Company is encouraged
by the fact that both departments have large programs currently underway to
upgrade their wireline communications on military bases and in governmental
data centers.
getting close, maybe we can score, but i won't hold my breath.
They said a demo I guess of the tech, I haven't got a call back. If I get a chance later I'll watch it again and figure out what it said exactly. They said something about it on their short shareholder video, so I decided to see whether I, or anyone could tour their facility and its extra space. Do I think this stock will make money.YES. Do I think it's gonna get worse before it gets better.YES.
I'm trying to set up a demo since the shareholder meeting said they'd have one set up when they moved in the new building. It said for analysts, potential customers, and shareholders. They are supposed to call me back, we'll see whether they have it set up. My friend lives about 10 blocks away, so I've convinced her to go watch the demo and take pics inside just so I feel like my money is safe. I'm confident in the existance of the company, but I'll decide whether I'll weather the conversion storm or jump ship and climb back on with more deckhands.
This room kills me. Maybe instead of stock trading, we should start a rsmi drama tw show. Insider accusations, fraud, scams, betrayel, he said, she said. Better than what's on TV. Obviously all the nit picking is neither here nor there with only 2 possible endings, make money or lose money. We'd all prefer the 2nd ending, even the naysayers who are no doubt long as hell and bitter, but trying to spare people from what they've been through.
Now that it's trading under sevie.ob due to late filing, I hope they get straightened out soon. Only when the conversions are done will this have a chance to move any. I'm curious how many shares are outstanding now, 300m, 400m?
Here, I got it working, this thing is big.
Gotta watch my back, faster dsl is dangerous.
Man, it's true, I digress, here's proof. It's bigger than RIM now.
I think I typed this right
<IMG SRC="http://www.orbitfiles.com/download/id876240333" >
As anyone can do, if you search around the internet there are tons of companies that could be using the same pic with some photoshopping. Depends who does their site, pics get reused alot, I'm good with photoshop and could have made that pic easily too. Good or bad, it's just something to spice up the site inserted by an HTML junky and NOT A FPGA JUNKY. Computergate is getting deep, when they said they presented it to the government for testing last year, now they're involved in the scam. I'm closing my blinds tonite, maybe now I'm a witness and since I made money, too scary, Halloween coming too, spooky. GO RIM GO!
Maybe these guys are pretty smart and feel that their pay is based on their ability to multitask. Small companies often have engineers/presidents/whatever is needed to get the job done. Maybe they are like a squad of geeks who have done a little overbuffering on their comps. New things come to light everyday, for instance a company is putting out a red laser dvd that does 40gig. Everyone said blue laser was the only way to do that. NMEN got some love, maybe rim will too, only harder love with so many shares.
Saying the fpga doesn't exist is quite a stretch isn't it. I guess hellosoft has converted rim stock to further the conspiracy. It's huge, we'll have to call it Computergate or something. Granted they have done some photoshopping, but I doubt they bothered to spend the extra time/money just to get pretty logos printed on their test chips that they plan to use only until the final version. Call their action the Katy Couric of the chip business, happens everyday and most never know it, or even care for that matter. Sorry if your longer than john holmes on this stock, maybe it will crash, maybe it won't, only time will tell.
They always say, A gamblers money has no home. So the fact that I'm invested in RSMI and made alot of homeless money I'm considering flying to OR. in the next couple weeks just to check on my money and fly back. First I've offered a friend that lives 2 blocks away from the new office 50 bones to take a camera and go check check the place out, send pics, tour the new facility, and tell me if they think my money is safe. If this person does I'll report back what I find, if not I might go myself.
Me and guy at work were talking about this, if they really can do this with a red laser, imagine what they could do with a blue one. Like a terrabyte or something. I am suprised it hasn't pulled back any, there's been some pretty aggresive buying on this stock.
Interesting reading although grossly inaccurate. Someone was be really long to issue some crap like that. Unless they know the company is gonna do a crap reverse split or buy back some shares (which they really should if their revenue is true) while it's cheap, even .10 is a farce. After making some huge turnarounds on this stock, I now sit in a castle of pain with a moat full alligators. Good company I still believe, needs to shape up on their filings, investor relations, and issuing stock for everything. If they worked as hard keeping the stock price up, it wouldn't be getting so diluted as we speak.
I can dig with you guys on this, my girls are 1 and 3 and I was in for just over 2 grand at .02, the upside is huge and the downside not to bad from where I sit. Since I sold high and am back in, It's like rim paid me to invest in them. May we all have nice upside, when it happens the first round of beer is on me.
I bought in 30000 shares at .09 and tried to buy more a while back. I recently sold at .20 hoping to pick some back up on pullback. I liked the gain but boy look at it go, it might have some MAJOR LEGS!
Oh rsmi you make me nervous, almost giddy. About the technology, does it really matter how much better it is? Even if it was 10% faster it would still be faster, so we can only hope the telcordia release didn't overhype it. Today was shaky, a weird push/pull. We need some MEATY RELEASES. Earth shaking. Go rim Go.
P.S. Since this is my first year doing this stock thing and I was lucky enough to hit rim right and cash out then buy back, how much will I be taxed on this gain.
Those numbers for the shares are prob. quite diluted by now, Be aware that an incredible amount of dilution is happening and only when it stops will this stock go anywhere. Management is good at this company, but also be aware that they ignored the stock and left everyone out to dry for months while it fell to this level. I'm pretty long on this stock and I'm still shaky on it until they get their ducks in a row. You can't just issue stock for everything, damnit I mean everything, they might even have issued shares to Pizza Hut for lunch. Oh, plus filing late with no real reason, ughh.
Thanks for clarifying the whole 3-d thing, sounds interesting, too bad it didn't work out. I couldn't seem to find anything on it when I checked. Just for the record, I've owned step to liquid for years and think some of the footage is amazing in hdef, too bad they didn't quit talking most of the time and let you really get into it.
Mccloud,Interesting that someone still makes something like it,I'll check it out.
Wow this news on rim could have some potential long term upside, way up! Let's hope we have good luck today. Remember the market will be having a moment of silence today.
