Thank you walterc, I know your words carry weight. I composed (respectfully) a few paragraphs myself directly to ML just now, I hope he will read it. This has to stop today!
Thank you! We all need to get the message across to ML, not sure how to reach out to him directly?because I have no confidence that Karen, Luke, Greg, will convey my dissatisfaction to him.
Thank you!
Thank you!
I don't care how busy ML is, this is a dereliction of duty (allowing JM to speak) I would go as far to say he is not fulfilling his responsibility as CEO to act in the best interest of shareholders. That presentation was absolutely deleterios to the image and potentially the share price of LWLG. Will others join me in pushing for some positive change here? This cannot happen again!
Trust me you don't want to watch it! I just emailed Karen, Luke, Greg... and let my thoughts be know, I strongly suggest all shareholders do the same if we are to put an end to this madness of allowing JM to speak, I can promise you that presentation did way more harm than good, yes I'm pissed off!!!
THAT WAS F**KING HORRENDOUS!!!!!!! I'm not gonna bash JM anymore, because I actually feel sorry for him, I am gonna bash ML for allowing this! Any new investor would run (not walk) away from the idea of placing capital here, now I'm pissed off! He can't even say photonics for Christ sakes...,. This insanity has to stop, can we come together and make this happen please! I'm open to any suggestions!!!!
The lack of news/ communication has entered the realm of the absurd! Maybe Jimmy will throw us some crumbs on Wed...
Who knew Corning sells 15 different types of fiber optic cable? Also a quick 5 min video on the page titled Fiber 101 (for dummies like me). Same video that's on Youtube from 2013...

Great point!
The only reason I suspect ML keeps putting JM up is because he's on the payroll and would probably have to compensate TZ seperately as he is an Outside Director? I am correct in that assumption Proto? May as well use the guy who's already getting paid anyway, although TZ would be money well spent vs JM if that's the case.
agreed, JM is a disaster and should be relegated to sweeping the floor in ML office, as long as he promises to keep his mouth shut!
Unbelievable, here we go again...
"management will present at the Proactive Disruptive Growth Forum on September 23, 2020.
Jim Marcelli, President of Lightwave Logic, is scheduled to host a virtual presentation during the 1-hour event as follows: "
Maybe ML will make Jose an offer he can't refuse to come on board:)...(I would love that) As difficult as it can be to sometimes understand Jose's accent, I would still rather listen to him than JM any day of the week.
I'm always amazed at the level of enthusiasm Jose Pozo brings, he is the perfect person to head these events for what would otherwise would be painfully boring to listen to. What a great attitude, listening to him always brings a smile to my face.
Bingo! Agree 100% with your comments.
I would prefer TZ or ANYONE else in management to step up and take the lead. This can not happen again, If I can't even sit through the first 2 minutes how are we to hope to draw in new investors/eyeballs? No-one would say to themselves "hmm? this is a company I would allocate some funds to" after listening to any of that butchered word salad. I've let my feelings be known to Karen and MZ, not that I expect anything to change!
I do hope that ML is so busy that he can't personally attend/ present on our behalf, but that fact that he willing puts JM as out there when we desperately need new investor interest/inflows, just bothers the hell out of me. I truly hope others here that have more power of persuasion than I can institute some positive change.
Thx for posting that Steve, but I'M SORRY, JM should not be a frontline representative speaker for LWLG or any other company (publicly traded or not). I tried to give him the benefit of doubt but literally could not get through the first 2 minutes.! It's nothing personal against JM but it's impossible for him to string 6 words together without stumbling over his tongue. This is not how I want a company represented that I'm heavily invested in and the fact that ML willing puts him out there is concerning to me. This bothers me!
6G already...? Don't blink or you'll miss the 5G rollout...

We provide solutions that meet the constantly growing requirements of your data center.
With the next-generation of connection rates, processing and switching technology, and speed are all beginning to outrun connectivity. As speed scales upwards, so does power and cost- adding layers of complexity and attacking reliability.
Designed for high volume production at the lowest power, the AuraDP™, electro-optic coupling technology takes the optical energy off the circuit board and out to the connector more efficiently and more accurately than any other technology. It is a speed-independent, “snap and go” assembly that is common for all products, from 25G up to 800G.
Enabled by our proprietary AuraDP™ technology, high quality products provide exceptional optical coupling efficiency between the optical devices and the MPO connector enabling low power consumption, superior performance and reliability. As a result, we produce low-cost, high yield transceivers that meets the increase in speed and demand.
Personal appearance is not relevant, I just want someone who can clearly and eloquently articulate the promise of the technology and bring in some new eyeballs. Share price is a disgrace!
Exactly, just sent Karen an email just the same. Others feel free to do the same, maybe they will get the message!
How many signatures can we get on a petition before next Wed. to keep JM from speaking on LWLG behalf? I'll be the first to sign it because he is not gonna help our cause with a repeat performance.
The substance of his comments aside, I have never seen anyone butcher the English language so badly in a span of 2 min. JM should not ever be put in front of a podium after listening to that!
I'm not smart enough to answer that, but with the recent mention of LWLG being on a "vendor" list for Tesla I thought it may be relevant to the conversation. I certainly hope there is some relevance NedFlanders:)
04:24 AM EDT, 08/21/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) has filed a request with the Federal Communications Commission to make an exception for the higher-than-allowed power level requirements of a new radar-based motion sensing device it is developing that could, among other things, help detect a child left inside a hot vehicle.
In an FCC filing, Tesla said the sensor incorporates a millimeter wave radar technology that uses a higher power level than allowed by the commission but "the public interest would be served by such safety and security benefits."
The device could "reduce the risk of pediatric vehicular heatstroke, protect vehicle occupants from injury through advanced airbag deployment and seatbelt reminders, and enhance theft prevention systems." Given these benefits, Tesla said the commission should grant its request "on an expedited basis, without the need for a lengthy notice and comment period."
TSLA shares added 0.4% on Thursday during after-hours trading.
Price: 2,036.66, Change: +34.83, Percent Change: +1.74
Intel announced after hours a $10B buyback program...you would think they could have thrown a billion at LWLG instead of just buying back shares.
All good points noblynx, my argument is that with the momentum TSLA has going right now, literally a runaway freight train as s/p has surged like 32% in just the past 5 trading days, it's difficult for me to fathom how the smart money wouldn't have picked up on the slightest hint of discussions with TSLA. If I am proven wrong some day (I hope) M. Lebby will go down in history as the coolest, most restrained, most non-promoting individual to ever head a publicly traded company.
I would love nothing more than to wake up one morning to confirmation of such speculation...but does anyone seriously believe we are involved with this? Share price would already be over $5 before the word "DOJO" was ever uttered.

Let's keep it real guys...
I've posed this question before and it still amazes me...
Why doesn't LWLG have it's own Twitter page? If anything, share price has gone down since MZ Group was brought on board...what exactly have they done to justify their compensation besides the website refresh?
Twitter is the only social media site I use, so if they are on other platforms I wouldn't know about it. Seems to me that as a pre revenue company with "revolutionary new tech" trying to get the word out, you would do everything you could to get in front of new investor eyeballs??
Thx for sharing that positive info KCCO7913, you won't get any flack from me:)
"Tkg, based on the following, investors can expect that ML has been working on deal negotiations for some time now, and perhaps conditional deals are already in place for the 1550 once 200pmV is attained, which based on the trajectory of the advances the developments should be there now/soon, FINAL STEPS, also, I believe there are already partnering agreements on the PIC builds on InP or SiP already under NDA and based on the recent slew of Device Patents of LWLG "
Your language suggests to me then we should have the press release by year end (proto time...?) that WE ALL have been so patiently waiting for...btw, how tall are you? I'm thinking of starting the statue this weekend:) kidding aside, thx for your reply.
proto, as the boards most staunch supporter (and one of the most knowledgable) of LWLG, you are 100% convinced that we are are "close" to a deal. I'm asking you then to go out on a limb, go on record and give us a window as to when you believe we will arrive at the promised land. In LWLG time, a deal could be 1,3,5 years away??? I want to know in proto time, what is your best estimate? Are you suggesting we are 3, 6, 12 months away from the World discovering the Holy Grail of photonics? If you are proven to be even remotely close on your call, all skeptics will disappear overnight and I will personally erect a statue in your honor in my flower garden:) Having some fun, a good weekend to all!
I too appreciate your work Proto, but the time has come for LWLG to give shareholders something to take to the bank! This has gone on waaaaaaaaaaay to long without ANY ROI!

I like the sounds of that, Thx Proto!
I appreciate both replies proto, I anxiously await any corporate updates on the 1310 material, like have we entered the evaluation phase or is it still be tweaked in the lab?
Probably discussed already but I'll ask anyway..
From the April 20' Investor Presentation slide 3...
• Technology evaluation underway with Tier-1 partners under NDA
One month later...May 7, 20'

So what happened to the material that was referenced in the Invest. Pres.?
-Is the new "Breakthrough" EOP now undergoing Tech. evaluation under NDA?
-Does this mean we reset the clock and at best are a little over 2 months into Tech. evaluation of the latest iteration?
So many questions, so few answers...we're always left trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together on our own.
proto,
Are these your words or are they taken from a published doc? Thx
Third-Generation (LWLG)
Meanwhile, the scientists at LWLG continued quietly and
indefatigably toward the Holy Grail, the Fluted Stein. A molecule that was robust and yet which would vibrate more easily than the thinnest sliver of crystal. Once thought impossible,LWLG succeeded on their quest, producing today's third-generation of electro-optic molecules. LWLG scientists accomplished this by stabilizing the core of the molecule with interlocking atomic rings, much like crosshatches or the rungs of a ladder.
Third-generation electro-optic materials are even higher performing as electron oscillators. Their ring-locked shape gives them tremendous stability. Within these structures the electrons still vibrate easily, in fact they oscillate significantly better than within second -generation materials, yet they are incredibly robust due to their reinforced scaffold-like structure.
