I know he sold a large block back in March. It looks like maybe he just needed the money or wanted to move on to other things. The one thing that concerns me is if this will affect Pulse's "connections" in China. Any info you can get from Bev or Pulse would be most appreciated. I'll see what I can find out too.
Guynms26, have you talked to Bev lately or do have any ideas or thoughts about the director resignation? Thanks
Interesting article that mentions Dr Pepper Snapple Group CEO Larry Young recently stated he “sees the better-for-you beverage portion of the business accounting for 40-50% of sales in coming years.” Cold drinks are hot in 2012
The growing market demand for healthier products presents a perfect environment for Pulse to offer the lower calorie natural lemonades and functional nutritional beverages.
I’ve been monitoring the Cabana supply every few days at my local Safeway store over the past few weeks. The product appears to be selling nicely without any advertising or even an end cap display. They were down to just a few bottles last week (completely re-stocked yesterday when I stopped by). I am pleasantly surprised with how well the lemonade is selling considering we’ve had temperatures averaging in the 30’s and 40’s during our Winter season. I can only imagine how well this product will sell during warmer weather and with better display.
Does anyone else have any info on Cabana sales activity at your local retailer(s)? I would guess the more southern states (Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and California) are already seeing very strong lemonade sales. I’m not expecting the upcoming financials to reflect a huge sales surge since the large chain retail listings were just coming on board at the end of 2012. However, I can’t wait to see the 2nd and 3rd quarter financials! I think that’s where we will really see some action...

Cabana is now available at my local Safeway grocery stores. I bought a couple of bottles of the new blueberry lemonade the other day. It is their best flavor offering so far in my opinion, absolutely awesome! I just hope the Pulse line of products is as tasty as the lemonades.
Hey did you guys see this today?

It seems more and more people are discovering Pulse.
Good luck to all,
Badger
It appears Pulse is in the process of adding new online resources, check out the website http://www.drinkpulsebeverage.com/
In addition, they have created a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/PulseBeverageCorporation and Twitter account @ drinkpulsebev.
Pulse also receives a brief mention in a Seeking Alpha article this morning http://seekingalpha.com/article/1099531-2-beverage-stocks-getting-ready-to-move-higher
I hope Pulse continues to receive more exposure over the coming months.
Best Regards,
Badger
Great work Guynms26! Thanks for confirming this with their corporate office!!
I bet there will be photos available soon. It looks like there is a post on the Cabana facebook page from the end of October regarding this. I'm guessing Hannaford is just now in the process of adding product details to their website. Pulse is making some progress with retail chains!!!
There's a post on the Yahoo board this morning that indicates Cabana products are available at Hannaford grocery stores. Does anyone have any info on this? I know this is a very large grocery chain in the New England states. A quick google search shows the following Hannaford facts: Hannaford is a Delhaize America company, and is owned by Belgian based Delhaize Group, one of the world's largest food retailers with 3,400 stores in eleven countries on three continents (Delhaize = 27.8 billion in annual sales). This is very exciting!
There have been other similar reports published (see link under the Cabana Lemonade picture above for an older one). A lot of the info and statistics are the same. It appears some of it has been updated and this appears to be their most current corporate report based on the date of 9/30/12 under the investment profile page. I think the upcoming earnings report will be the best indicator of the progress they're making...
Here is the most recent Pulse corporate presentation.
Pulse Corporate Presentation
I have purchased and sampled all of the Cabana products at various convenience stores in the Denver and northern CO area. I know the lemonade products are on shelves in convenience stores, I haven't located the products at any major retailers yet, but I haven't been to Wholefoods or King Soopers in some time. I have also verified several distributors around the country who are carrying the Cabana products. I have included some below. The Pulse products aren't available yet, they should be in a couple of weeks. If anyone else has more info, please post it. Thanks!

Any thoughts out there as to why volume continues to remain so low?
I too would like to verify whether or not distributors are placing product on the shelves of larger retailers. I did speak with an employee at Pulse Beverages earlier today on the phone. She said the Pulse line will be rolling out by mid October. I wonder if Pulse has had success with their goal of raising 3 million for marketing and promotion of the Pulse products. It would be nice if they would release an update regarding this.
I think the earnings report was very positive! First quarter to second quarter revenue grew from $376,700 to $955,526. It is important to note that revenue to this point is only related to sales of Cabana Lemonade. It is the flagship Pulse beverage the company believes will ultimately be their big success, which hasn't even hit the market yet. I think third quarter growth should also be strong with re-orders and more distributors in place. If some of the big chain store opportunities like King Soopers and Whole Foods really pan out (like the company execs have stated they are currently working on), revenue could grow exponentially. We are looking at a company that may be cash flow positive in less than a year. Their performance to date has been truly impressive! Does anyone else out there feel this way??
Expenses are obviously growing too and are currently higher than revenue (as with most new businesses). After reviewing everything, I am very excited and positive about the long term prospects here. So far they have exceeded my expectations. The next big hurdle will be to secure the necessary financing and do so at an acceptable cost. This is critical for them to promote and introduce Pulse successfully to market. They also need to figure out a way to promote their progress as a company and increase investor awareness. I don't think many people even know about this company yet. Maybe there is a better way to create company and product visibility than going through NBT? They should explore other communication options. Ultimately, I think this company will reward the patient investor. Good luck to everyone.
Does anyone have thoughts or opinion on the earnings? Did they exceed your expectations?
Hey that's great, I'm glad you were able to fill your order. I'm looking to add a few thousand shares in the short term and more as I am able. I wonder what it will take for this company to get noticed by more investors?
Did you fill your 10k order today? I've had an open order for 2500 at .52 and can't seem to fill it. GLTY
bloomberg.com has the next earnings date listed as 8/15/12. Also, a post from an individual on the PLSB Yahoo message board indicated that their investor relations company (Martin E. Janis) confirmed the next earnings report would be released on or before 8/15/12. We should hear something soon..
That would be great, thanks!
Check out this interview with Pulse President Bob Yates and Director Paddy Sheya on the rapid expansion of Cabana lemonades. This company is absolutely ready for lift off, with new expansion into Kroger and Whole Foods. This is big time exciting stuff!!

I was happy today to find four flavors of Pulse Cabana lemonade available at a local convenience store. It is nice to actually see the distribution deals placing product on store shelves. Hopefully Q2 and Q3 earnings will move the stock higher. I am very excited about the long term prospects of this company.
