What's your opinion on the drop?
Somebody is. Sell volume higher than buy and two large blocks for sale.
It would be helpful to have the video from the AGM posted so we could ALL hear what was said at the AGM. I don't think they are going to post it.
Less than $10 per barrel. Here's a link.
Klean Industries has evaluated numerous technologies and techniques for effectively up-cycling plastics rather than down-cycling plastics into low grade recyclables. Klean's finding have been substantial and a number of advanced thermal processing technologies have been identified and acquired as the way forward for reproducing virgin based materials suitable for reintroduction into our current supply chains. Klean's plastic to oil solutions can be fed almost any petroleum-based waste plastic and will convert it into synthetic light to medium oil for less than USD$10 per barrel. As with crude oil, the synthetic oil can then be processed into commercial fuels or even back into plastic. Klean's ground breaking innovations allow Klean to provide solutions that deliver the highest possible returns both financially and environmentally.

Since JBII Longs MUST entertain information about other companies,
even though this board is supposed to be about discussing JBII,
IMHO some of these so-called competitors
for JBII are in hardly more than the scam category when one looks at THEIR actual deeds & accomplishments done...
Wow! $200K to be on the board? Nice!
Race to commercialization - another one....

Greenstar, Vadxx to convert recovered plastic to oil
CTBR Staff Writer Published 27 June 2011
Greenstar Recycling has signed a memorandum of understanding with US based Vadxx Energy to form a joint venture (JV) to convert recovered plastic into synthetic crude oil.
Through the JV, Greenstar and Vadxx will collaborate to provide a domestic fuel, and benefit the environment by repurposing recovered plastic products.
Using proprietary processes, Vadxx manufactures synthetic crude oil and natural gas by using raw material feedstock consisting of petroleum-based plastics in a process called thermal depolymerization.
The companies expect to begin producing crude oil in mid-2012 with the target location for the project in the US state of Ohio.
Greenstar CEO Matt Delnick said Vadxx will help the company recover plastics from the material stream and repurpose them as feedstock for the production of oil.
"This JV will help us better serve our municipal customers by providing a more consistent market value for their plastics that are otherwise largely unmarketable," Delnick said.
Vadxx CEO Jim Garrett said the Vadxx equity partnership with its feedstock suppliers is a key component of the company's business model, which features a low capital investment compared to the expected return from oil sales.
Greenstar is a provider of sustainable recycling solutions in the recycle processing, commodity upgrading, managed services and commodity trading sectors of the solid waste market.
JBI hasn't shown they can produce diesel fuel for under 10. Show ME a link. -
I'd like to see the breakdown of that $10.00. Raw cost? transportation? marketing? Do you have a link showing that JBII produces diesel fuel for less than 10 dollars a barrel?
Do you have a link to one producing diesel fuel for less than 10 dollars a barrel like JBII does?

Crude Oil Production and Costs
It is cheaper to draw oil from some geographic locations than it is from others, and this affects production costs. The Energy Information Administration reports that in 2007, it cost an average of $3.87 a barrel to lift oil from Central America; in Canada, it cost roughly $10. In addition, there are costs associated with developing new oil fields. Middle Eastern nations, for instance, spent less than $5 per barrel to find new oil sources, while companies in the United States spent almost 10 times that amount exploring offshore options deep in the Gulf of Mexico.
And one in Canada

A recent report by the American Chemistry Council found more than a dozen U.S. and Canadian firms are trying to harness plastic-to-fuel technology. Kim Holmes, a Portland-based environmental consultant and author of the report, said the pyrolysis technology to convert plastic to fuel is now getting past the gee-whiz stage. “It’s now a race to commercialization,” said Holmes.

I didn't know oil wells weren't run 24/7.
Good news is NY is up and running, producing fuel 24/7. More than any oil company can claim from one of it's wells.
Oops. Looks like most of them are run 24/7. Might want to check your facts.

Thanks for the chart. Is the density you list for shredded plastic?
How many skids of material can the processor handle per day?
You can fit approximately 40 skids on the floor in 1000sq ft. If you are dealing with forklifts, you loose a lot of storage space. Are they stacking the skids? Racking the skids?
I think your 4000' is a pretty good assessment.
Original Post
From what I understand, the 20T processor takes up to 1,000sq' of floor space. I think I read somewhere else it takes up to 4,000sq' of space to maintain the processor, feed it etc. If true, they need to find a company with 8,000-12,000sq' of empty warehouse space so they can install 2-3 processors. Otherwise, they need to build out such needed space.
10 million of that was media credits.
AGM pix today?
Not holding my breath.
So the two-week-post-AGM time frame is up tomorrow? Monday?
I'm sure that's why we haven't seen more impatience.
If Tuesday comes with no news?
Just saying - we've had forward-looking dates tied to events in the past. Those dates have not worked out well.
Pak-it's for sale according to JB at the AGM. You could make an offer for it.
The world consumes 87.5 million barrels of oil a day. Of that total, the United States consumes about 19 million barrels per day, according to Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at the Oil Price Information Service.
The United States produces about 9.8 million barrels so it winds up importing about half of what it produces.
The Energy Department said the reserve is at a "historically high level" of 727 million barrels. CNNMoney)
Here is the news release about the barrels released.

Not sure about "magically impossible" and I'm sure there would be another permit process or would it be just a Simple Air Permit?
Does that mean a JV with a company in Maryland is magically impossible?
No.
Another poster said they were meeting with a medical waste company today. My point is they are not ready for that yet.

Heard they were meeting with medical waste company tomorrow...
My point is that Medical Waste would require a different permit at the current facility. If they form a JV with another site - medical waste or any site outside of the area/state where they are currently permitted, permits will have to be obtained for the process of turning the waste into fuel. Ruth Chris can add vegan dishes to their menu without a permit.
Your point that the NY plant does not do medical waste is like saying Ruth Crhis Steak House does not have a vegan menu.
Another permit story. The current permit does not allow medical waste.
A JV with a medical waste company would be incredible for JBI. Industry with tons of plastic feedstock
And a great green story!
Where's the PR? I don't see his name on the notice? How do you know this?
Hearing was scheduled quickly! What is this one about?
Do the assets know about this?
JBI's assets that are not critical to the development of Plastic2Oil will be pared back to strengthen the focus on our P2O Division.
They already do. Read the financials. Just answering another poster when they said there were no fees.

Here's a link for that spreadsheet.
You can read through the filings here:

I think you are confusing the original EEOC forms with the lawsuit forms. The suit is regarding unlawful discriminatory practices.

When is the 10Q due out for 2nd quarter? Some of these numbers will be there. Others are listed in the DEC permit (fees) and on the OTC website (fees), prior filings (auditor fees), etc. You have fun with that spreadsheet.
Nature of Suit: 445 Civil Rights: Americans with Disabilities - Employment. Color is not a disability. Cancer and high-risk pregnancy is. Don't make this a race issue.
only $12,206,170 in gross revenue for 3 processors at the Niagara falls plant.
It will be interesting to see what the net is. With regulatory fees, filing fees, legal fees, employee expenses, taxes, etc, etc. unless JBI gets more processors up and running quickly, it will be years before there are any major profits.
Even if they have JV's, there are still permitting issues. True, MRF will have some permits but not permits to run a processor.
Frivolous? She was fired while on documented LOA with a physician issued return to work date.
