yep, all your followers.
I had to do that back in 2000 for 14 days. It sucked but the sheriffs did take us to some cool places to go garbage picking and sometimes let us buy lunch as long as someone treated them. lol It wasn't a pleasant experience but it was better than jail for sure.
oooh We are quaking in our boots..
In 2009, he sold some of his coal business to the Russian company Mechel for $568 million. In 2015, after a huge drop in the price of coal led Mechel to close some of the mines, he bought the business back for $5 million.[9][10] Since buying back the mine from Mechel, Justice reopened several of the mines and hired over 200 miners.[11]
Justice's mining companies have been scrutinized for alleged cases of safety violation and unpaid taxes; in 2016, NPR called him the nation's "top mine safety delinquent".[12] Justice allegedly owed millions of dollars to the government in back taxes and unpaid coal mining fees and fines.[13] Two debt-related lawsuits were settled in 2019,[14] and in 2020 mining companies Justice or his family owned agreed to pay $5 million in delinquent safety fines.[15]
According to a 2020 ProPublica investigation, Justice had paid more than $128 million in judgments and settlements over his businesses' unpaid bills.[16][17] In October 2023, a federal court ordered the U.S. Marshal to seize and sell a helicopter the company owned to pay an $8 million judgment granted to a creditor.[18]

yep, I agree with you. Maybe a stiff fine but I'm sure it will be peanuts to him. He is a first time offender so there will probably be no jail sentence BUT if he continues to poke the bear with his big stupid mouth there could be some backlash from the judge..
I don't know if Cohen or Weisselburg had prior counts but they both wound up in the can for charges that stemmed from this whole deal, so it might not be out of the realm for the judge to sentence him to some time.
Of course it will be appealed all the way up to the supreme court so we'll have to see how it all plays out.
holy cats, I never heard of that theory before. LOL I need to bring it up at lunch tomorrow. They might toss me out of the window but it will be worth it just for giggles.
there you go, not making a lick of sense and reading bullshit polls again.. I'm not sure if that's a healthy option listening to people who answer their phones from unverified callers, but you do you.
I'm sure when I'm old and lonely, I'll want to talk to someone too but those days are yet to come.
dude Hawaii was always off the charts and it wasn't any secret back then.... I dropped a grand at dinner one night in the 90's. You're just acting like an ass because you think you're smart.. Go out and experience some things once in awhile. It would really change your outlook.
oh please, your pal Mannchin alone with his bestie Sinema did their best to undermine everything that we stand for. Look where they are now. Both of them crying a swan song because even they can't get elected with a D behind their names anymore.
You always rail about being in the middle but there is none anymore.. Do you support a democracy or do you support an autocracy? Da fuq are you thinking?
unuhm Hillary lost the election and conceded. What part of that did you miss? Glad you left out Comey's gift to trump just days before the election and that prick Mitch who stalled the supreme court vacancy..

The conservative media company behind the book and film “2,000 Mules,” which alleged a widespread conspiracy by Democrats to steal the 2020 election and was embraced by former president Donald Trump, has issued an apology and said it would halt distribution of the film and remove both the film and book from its platforms.
In a statement posted to their website, Salem Media Group, Inc. apologized specifically to Mark Andrews, a voter from Georgia falsely depicted illegally voting in “2,000 Mules.”
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation cleared Andrews of wrongdoing, and found he was legally dropping off ballots for members of his family. Andrews filed a defamation lawsuit against Salem, as well as the team behind the movie: right wing commentator Dinesh D’Souza, and the group True the Vote.
Though “2,000 Mules” has been widely debunked by law enforcement officials and the media, including NPR, the film and book developed a widespread following among supporters of the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen.
According to Andrews’ lawsuit, the allegations in “2,000 Mules” led to violent threats against him and his family. “They worry that again they will be baselessly accused of election crimes, and that believers in the ‘mules’ theory may recognize and seek reprisal against them, and that they may face physical harm,” the lawsuit alleged.
According to a court filing in a related case, Salem settled the lawsuit brought by Andrews for an undisclosed "significant" amount. In the statement on its website, Salem wrote, “It was never our intent that the publication of the ‘2000 Mules’ film and book would harm Mr. Andrews. We apologize for the hurt the inclusion of Mr. Andrews' image in the movie, book, and promotional materials have caused Mr. Andrews and his family.”
Salem said that it “relied on representations made to us by Dinesh D’Souza and True the Vote.”
D’Souza and True the Vote did not immediately respond to NPR’s request for comment.
Andrews’ lawsuit was brought with the help of the nonprofit group Protect Democracy, which also worked on defamation litigation brought by Georgia election workers against the former New York Mayor and Trump ally Rudy Giuliani.
A lawyer for Protect Democracy declined to comment on Salem’s statement due to the ongoing case. It is unclear what impact Salem’s apology will have on the lawsuit, which is currently in the discovery phase. Separately, Salem is also suing its insurer for allegedly failing to cover the costs stemming from Andrews’ lawsuit.
This was not the first rift among the makers and distributor of “2,000 Mules.”
When D’Souza published the book version of the film and made allegations of illegal “ballot trafficking” against specific nonprofit groups, True the Vote issued a statement saying that the group ”had no participation in this book, and has no knowledge of its contents." True the Vote added, "This includes any allegations of activities of any specific organizations made in the book. We made no such allegations."
That version of the book was abruptly recalled after already reaching store shelves and replaced with a version that omitted multiple significant allegations.

Kathy Griffin is a a trooper. She's an absolute firecracker. She got the shaft and dug her way back out while still battling cancer. Women like that are my everything.. just absolutely courageous.
Plus she's hilarious so that doesn't hurt either. I want to see her show here at New Year but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. A lot can happen between now and then.. I got stuck with Carlin tickets after he croaked and I wasn't too happy. Of course I got lucky and saw Jerry's last show with the Dead here at soldier field so I guess it works both ways sometimes.
It's okay to laugh about it now. It definitely was not one of my finer moments. I think I was maybe 17 or so at the time. The worst part was that I considered myself as a smart person and didn't unplug the damn thing before I stuck my hand in the water..
I gained an entirely new respect for electricity after that one. Even throughout my career I'm still afraid to even learn about it and I do a bunch of low voltage stuff with the security systems that wouldn't even harm a mouse if two wires crossed but I still get deathly afraid of wiring systems without someone to hold my hand..
Yep, no water breaks for you boys and girls.... Suck it up buttercup, this is a 'right to work' for shitty wages state.

Inside the emergency room at her Margate hospital, Dr. Paige Swalley orders intravenous fluids for her third patient who arrived dehydrated and suffering from a heat-related illness.
“As the heat peaks in the afternoon, they start coming in,” said Swalley, an emergency medicine physician at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital.
Last summer, emergency room visits for heat-related illnesses reached an all-time high, and if May is any indication, this year could be worse.
Florida ranked second in the U.S. for 911 calls related to heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and dangerous sunburn for the two weeks ending May 24, according to the federal government’s Heat Related EMS Activation Surveillance Dashboard. Arkansas with its blistering heat took the top spot. Over half the counties in Florida received higher-than-average EMS calls for heat-related emergencies from late April to May.
In May, not only were record-high temperatures in South Florida reported for six days of the month, but the area also experienced six days of abnormally high humidity levels, said Brian McNoldy, a senior research scientist at the University of Miami. The combination made it feel as hot as 112 degrees on the worst days. Last year was the hottest in Florida since 1985.
With traditionally hotter summer months ahead, federal health agencies want Americans to learn their heat/health risk, plan outdoor activities to avoid when danger is greatest, and take actions that lower their risk for health problems. They want employers of outside workers to use the new dashboards to guide which days might be better to tackle bigger outdoor jobs.
On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention debuted its newest heat and health tracker that shows a person’s daily risk for heat illness based on their ZIP code.
The tracker combines historical temperature, heat-related illness, and community characteristics information with the current heat situation to gauge the resiliency of a community. The CDC hopes to encourage local leaders to put in stronger public health protections when EMS calls spike and a community has a high level of outdoor workers or few nearby hospitals. This year, however, Florida lawmakers year restricted local governing agencies from instituting heat protections for workers,
For individuals, the CDC tracker can guide someone’s behavior as excessive heat in Florida becomes more frequent.
“It is a powerful tool because, for the first time, you can go to the dashboard, type in your ZIP code, see a seven-day forecast, and understand if the temperatures are too hot for your health,” said Dr. Aaron Bernstein, director of CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. “You hear about heat alerts, but none are based on the risk heat poses to health in that community. In Miami, a 90-degree day may affect the community differently than a 90-degree day in Tallahassee. The tracker speaks to health risk for that community.”
The heat health risk tracker also suggests precautions based on the daily risk score, which ranges from “No risk” to “Extreme” heat risk. In Broward County, for example, the tracker shows mostly moderate heat levels through June 5. It also shows air quality as moderate and advises: “If you are sensitive to air pollution, consider reducing the time you spend doing prolonged or heavy exertion.”
People sensitive to heat, such as pregnant women, kids with asthma or respiratory issues, heart disease, and seniors, should start paying attention on orange (moderate) days. Everyone should take precautions on red (major) or magenta (extreme) days.
With the projection of the heat health risk for an entire week ahead, Bernstein said, people can plan better rather than waiting for a heat advisory that offers less advanced notice. This is particularly important for people with chronic medical conditions, he said. “There are symptoms that typically show up as heat-related illness but with chronic medical problems, it may show up as more intense symptoms of their condition.”
If you see the heat health risk is high, take extra precautions like bringing an extra bottle of water with you outside, taking more breaks and making sure your clothing is suited to the heat, Bernstein advises.
Who is most at risk as temperatures rise
Swalley said older adults are at risk when it’s hot and humid because their sense of thirst isn’t as strong and they can become dehydrated. Also, seniors and young children cannot regulate their body temperature. When someone comes to the emergency department with heat-related illness, the treatment is to cool them down with a cooling blanket and give them IV fluids to hydrate them, she said.
Symptoms to watch out for as the temperature climbs are nausea, muscle cramps, dizziness, and heart palpitations. Some people may even faint or experience a seizure.
In Florida, Monroe County, home of the Florida Keys, had the highest rate of emergency responses for heat-related illnesses for the two weeks ending May 24, a new Heat Related EMS Activation Surveillance Dashboard shows. The tracker shows heat-related emergency calls, transports to medical facilities and deaths in real-time.
The tracker reveals that over the last two weeks, about 63% of the EMS calls nationwide for heat-related illness resulted in patients being taken to a medical facility.
The risk from heat can be fatal. Heat waves kill more people in the U.S. than any other weather hazard, including hurricanes, tornadoes and floods combined, according to the CDC. The death certificates of more than 2,300 people who died in the United States last summer mention the effects of excessive heat, the highest number in 45 years of records, according to an Associated Press analysis of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data. According to the AP analysis, nearly three-quarters of the heat deaths last summer were in five southern states that were supposed to be used to the heat and planned for it, including 84 in Florida.
Dr, Branson Collins, director of the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at Florida Atlantic University, suggests checking weather apps to learn when the temperature peaks each day. “You want to minimize your time outside during the peak. Even a few degrees can make a difference.”
He also advises anyone doing an outdoor activity who feels their heart racing, palpitations, or shortness of breath to stop immediately and get indoors or in the shade to cool off.
Drinking water and fluids with electrolytes can be crucial for some people, he said.
“Some people don’t sweat well. Sweating helps remove heat from your body so you can cool down,” he explains. “If you can’t sweat, your body overheats, which can be dangerous.”
A few hot tips to consider
Using a fan when the indoor heat is 90+ degrees can do more harm than good. Fans in extreme heat can give a false sense of comfort and are less effective in cooling the body.
Taking a cold shower or doing a cold plunge when you are sweating is not a good idea. It could trigger lightheadedness and cause you to pass out.
The coolest time of the day in South Florida is between 6 and 8 a.m. If you are going to take a walk, do it early.
People can improve their threshold for heat tolerance. You can build up your body’s tolerance by exposing yourself to short bouts of heat and humidity and gradually increasing the length of exposure over time,
Caffeine can be dehydrating so you want to limit your intake when outside on a hot day.
Mold and bacteria grow more easily in high temperatures. Change your AC filter more often during the hot summer months.
Well, it was like a Bounty commercial. The quilted quicker picker upper. 🤪
In public bathrooms I still use the urinals but in private residences, including my own I will always take a seat. When I built my addition to my place, I begged the ex to let me put in a urinal in the breezeway I created but she refused.. Now it's just an empty space where I could have had a little water closet for me and the boys to go free willy.
Fortunately for me the foot fungus finally went away but yeah, it lasted for some time and I never bothered to get it checked out because I was a little embarrassed by my stinky feet. I relied on the internet doctors to see me through..
These days I know better but back then I felt invincible.
LOL I never said my mom was completely sane.. I use hypoallergenic soap in the shower as well. Like I said, I changed everything. Still put some deodorant in my armpits though.. It helps somedays but after I quit boozing my sweat doesn't smell like a brewery anymore, so it's more just a habit than anything else.
I don't use cologne unless it's an important day and even then it's just a quick squirt. Working in office buildings and motels as long as I did there were people who could just burn your nose up on elevators. I'd rather smell their hairy ass than that crap they bathe themselves in.
LOL I don't even have them framed and a dude I know offered me 2 grand for them.. I was just pulling your skeptical leg. You get carried away sometimes, though it's not a bad thing. I like to have opinions like yours in my life. You know way more than me about imagery so it really does hit home more often than not..
sometimes I just feel the need to mess with you. Don't take it personally.
well I was vigilant about it because I could smell my own feet and that never happened to me before. I constantly washed them and put the salve on when I figured out what was going on so I guess I never got to the blister stage, but it still took about 6 months and a new pair of boots for it to go away. At the time when I used to piss standing up, I would take my foot and wipe the rim of the bowl with my sock to clean up the residuals so the mess would disappear.
My ex was convinced that's how I caught it. Fortunately, I don't play that game anymore.
lol I was the exact opposite. After my divorce I started to get a skin condition that I wasn't sure of.. I had blister patches and an itchy rash all throughout. I went to see a dermatologist and actually had a biopsy done.. He prescribed me a giant bottle of pills that I was apparently supposed to take for the rest of my life.
I didn't believe that shit so I changed everything. I stopped using my laundry detergents and switched to hypoallergenic friendly stuff. I stopped using fabric softeners in the dryer. It still didn't go away until I started sleeping on the couch full time. It all cleared right up after that, but the couch sucks so I wanted to sleep in my bed again.. The first night I crawled back in I literally felt the rash coming back immediately.
I figured it had something to do with my sheets and I was right. I tossed those old suckers and bought some expensive cotton ones that have never let me down since. Comforter too, the old one was messing with me as well. All cotton now. Even some poly blend clothing will give me a fit but it's okay once I get out of it. It's just hard to get dressed up for date nights or whatever without some polyester going on so I take the hit when needed.
having sensitive skin sucks. My mother has the same problem too and actually washes her clothes with vinegar. Mine get exceptionally dirty so I need real soap and the hypoallergenic stuff works just fine. I did screw up one time and bought some of those scent beads, not thinking. My clothes smelled great but boy howdy did I break out when I put them on. I had to rewash everything twice before I could wear them again.
Never got the gout but I have friends who do have it and their diet really does play a big role in that movie. They harp on me for eating red meat and seafood the way I do but it hasn't caught up with me yet..
now I'm bummed. I paid 150 bucks for these two pieces of canvas when they were released and had no idea that they were plagiarized. I have number 60.. should I sue?

no doubt. And notice a young up and comer named Jerry Garcia playing in that video too.
Those were some great musicians on that stage. Back when music was music and not the crap we mostly have to deal with nowadays.. My first show right here. I was totally in my element.
When I was on LSD I used to put on headphones and listen to Jimi Hendrix, it was a totally mind bending sound that I could not recreate in my mind when I wasn't tripping.
He was awesome. Before my time but he still blew me away after I discovered him..
glad we can oblige. My interests range across all the spectrums but as I get older I find myself yearning for old tunes from my childhood. as well...
You always have a friend here....
LOL well since you asked. My one fish was very territorial and would bash himself into anything that was in the tank, including the lid.. I had to put weights on top of it because one night he jumped out..
I had an electric water heater in the tank which at the time was just a glass tube, similar to a light bulb. The fish decided he didn't like that and he broke it.
When I went to take it out of the water, I got shocked so hard, it blew me backwards on to the floor. I had experienced little hits from electrical outlets and stuff before but this one was insanely out of my realm. It literally knocked me on my back as soon as I stuck my hand in the water.
I couldn't believe that the fish weren't fried but I was later told that there is no ground in the water so from me standing there and being grounded outside, I took a serious hit. LOL At least I was smart enough to unplug the heater before I managed to get it out again.
Serious lesson learned. I'm lucky I didn't kill myself.
Oh man it was so much fun. I should not have been allowed out on the street at those hours but we did it anyway. We used to shoot pool at Oak billiards then go mess around with our money. I played a ton of darts then too so there was a sucker born every minute , but when we got to the clubs it was just a free for all.
The bands were incredible and I could just lose myself in the corner of nowhere. So much I miss, is something I sometimes regret. I love this city but I hate it.
My kind of town....
the orange shitshimself didn't build that golf course. It's been there forever and has hosted some major events throughout the years. Just not these days because the PGA thinks the same of him as the dude in the picture that I'd high five.... even before he washed his paws.
Yep, River Grove. That place was awesome. Many too good of times were had. I was too young for the whole scene but I had a blast whenever they let me in.
Grew up quickly and learned to love good old fashioned rock n' roll. After we flopped I hung out at places like the Aragon. It was the first time I saw Metallica. lol I think they opened for Slayer that night. Venom played too. I was a hooked little headbanger.
Yes, we have to stay vigilant. That stuff is everywhere. Now, I'm not one to be up in another person's business but if you're teaching our kids that stuff then some adults need to be involved.
They bitch and moan about "indoctrination" when they are the ones who are doing it. It's creepy but it's real.
Don't even get me started on private school vouchers. The scam of a lifetime for these privileged fucks..
LOL I used to have fish. Cichlids, Tiger Oscars and I just joked about watching 'Finding Nemo' and 'Finding Dori' the other night. My fish were mean and hungry. I fed them krill and little feeder goldfish. After they died, one of the feeders left in the tank grew up to be a giant, he was like two feet long and as fat as a nfl lineman.
After he died the tank went to my attic and is still there. I have a good electrocution story from all that too but I wont waste anyone's time with that now. lol
Xoie is a troublemaker lol. She's a rebel and a runner and too smart for her own good, just like her owner. Her and I go round for round while skidz sits in the corner and giggles. She can hop a four foot obstacle like it wasn't even there and runs like the wind.
Problem is, she was never trained and doesn't want to be now. I'm just glad she learned how to do her business outside. My buddy didn't care because he had a maid and he could just leave his doors wide open so the dog could go in and out whenever she pleased. I thought about putting in a dog door but I ruled against it because I wanted her to behave.
It's an adventure for sure but it's something I signed up for so I have to see it through. Folks at work help me now and the cat really did help to calm her down but I wasn't expecting the cat either so things do get interesting sometimes. It definitely keeps me on my toes. Don't know if it's good or bad, it's just what I chose to do.
this stupid phone is still my nemesis. I'm too lazy to go in and get it all figured out.
I have the old pic of Xoie taken at my buddies's house but I have extreme problems these days with my garbage phone . I can't even access my rogue email addresses. I wish skidders could be in here. They really are quite the pair.
I can only give it a try. The good thing is that they both love my friends more than me. I sometimes get jealous but I quickly snap out of that and am proud of them for being so nice. The kitty sometimes hides but when he comes out, he's a social butterfly. The dog always has to be up in my business like she's running the show but they are wonderful with my guests.
LOL then I ask if they'd like to take them home and I get no takers.
for sure, the feeling is mutual. They have to put up with me for their time and they keep me entertained for mine . We are a dysfunctional family but we work through our issues and hopefully are better for it.
I think it's more of a food thing. I picture them saying "dude just shut up already" .
lol that's awesome. I would go to lower water street and piss on trump tower every chance I got for many years now.. I would never film it because I was afraid of going to jail. Upstairs there was always lines of black SUV's like it was fort knox or something. Fortunately not anymore but I have to get back down there and see my old buddies soon.
LOL I highly doubt that but I'd sure do better than trumpty. My fur babies don't seem to mind when I sing to them but they have a special interest in the guy who feeds them so the polls are a bit skewed in my direction.
