Will manufacturers of prescription opioids continue to be allowed to make non abuse deterrent versions for lets say hospitals?
Even hospital dispensaries can be compromised. As more ADF opioids come on the market the street price for non ADF versions will grow. Hospitals and other such medical facilities may be allowed non ADF opioid versions because they have measures in place to prevent theft of non ADF opioids.
If these preventative measures are breached and ADF versions of the controlled were available to healthcare facilities it could mean legal action against them. Something healthcare facilities will have to put some weight on before they decide..... non ADF
or ADF version.
Less non ADF versions will mean much much higher street prices for them which will mean more danger for hospitals that keep them.
ADFs such as Elite will change the way things are now done.
Ground breaking? Paradigm? Call it what you like.
Elite knows what they have. It is coming......
Trying to discredit ones opinion based on expertise as one has done this sort of thing for a living is pointless.
Questioning N2K about valuations is okay. Just keep in mind that he has the experience in this sort of thing. Others do not.
So the government should discourage other pharmaceutical companies from coming up with their own solutions to this
prescription opioid abuse problem? They should not encourage
any solutions? We do have a free market economy..... no?
As anyones due dilligence would conclude $0.97 was pure manipulation on NO NEWS whatsoever. ELI-200 was not close to launching back then. More misinformation.
So... if little itty bitty Elite ran up to $0.97 per share on no news way back then..... what will the manipulators run it to when the REAL NEWS comes? $0.97 was a prelude to what will come when the real news hits. Until then there are 2 more generics and the revenues which keep topping triple digits every quarter.... and will more than likely do the same this quarter.
Retirement for all of us Elite longs..... $$$$ LOL LOL
Better fasten your seat belt John.
Not trying to convince anyone....... especially the skeptics.
Elites technology is superior in many ways.....
Not just a two bead technology........
Also a one bead technology....... a better Embeda.
http://www.elitepharma.com/one-bead-system/
Elites two bead technology is also superior in many ways....
Like its single bead cousin it is simple... safe.... cost effective....... and works on all facets of prescription opioid
abuse.
http://www.elitepharma.com/two-bead-system/
Elite has 11 different opioids in various phases of development.... one of which is with the FDA right now.
How many dosing strengths per 11 different prescription opioid ADFs does that make over time? And how much $$$$ does this translate into over time? Mucho dinero! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Once this ADF prescription opioid ball gets rolling with approvals it will translate into big $$$$$$$$$$$$.
See Lasers post as to the "countless other issues". As for the
generics you can ask that question during the CC.
Been lots going on in Eliteland in case you havent noticed. The generics are Epics baby but maybe they have been busy with other stuff as well? By the end of the 1st Q they are expected.
Didnt know there were "excuses". Thanks for pointing that out IB.
So when they do come you will appluade Elite or continue to boo Elite?
WoW!
What Elite employees doing 5 plus days a week and 40 plus hours a week? Seriously? Suggest you read up on current events. Lasers
post may also be able to help you out. 7 ADF opioids in development and that was almost 2 years ago. ELI-200 ELI-201 ELI-216...... so that was 3 of them. Then there are ELI-300 and ELI-301. Thats 5. So much going on in Eliteland.
WoW!
Insurance companies will be a driving force too. And we all know how pesky those rascals can be.
BINGO N2K!
And IB was asking me what if anything Elite was handling.....
As you point out Lasers Elite has all it can handle while waiting on the FDA.
Plenty going on in Eliteland. My guess is that some Elite employees work more than 5 day work weeks and longer than 8 hour days. Much longer. The prize is in sight. There is in the pharmaceutical sector a sense of urgency. Take market share as soon as you can. Strike while the iron is hot.
Elites iron is mighty hot.
The usual IB....... two more generic launches. Countless other issues they may be ramping up for like ADF labeling issues. Those issues are being addressed industry wide in March. Think it's in the DC area. WoW!
Good morning "doctor".
Yes I would concur... zero evidence and that is just the way we shareholders want it. Way too early in the game to divulge any such notions.
If Elite gets ELI-200 out on the shelves it may be a whole other story. Will cross that bridge at another time when/if it comes.
Right now Elite waits for the FDA. Tic toc tic toc.....
That would make sense Lasers. Epic gets approval for their NDA
and Elite/Epic can produce the flagship together with either Epic licensing out Elites ADF or.............. something else?
Je3332... obviously Elite is going for the ADF with all other products on the backburner. The product with the Hong Kong customer cannot be that big a priority if Elite feels that setting up their generics is of higher value right now.
US market is THE prime target.
Nothing against Canada but that is just the way it goes. Canada will come into play at some point I am sure.
Elite has all it can handle right now waiting on the FDA.
All we can do as shareholders is be patient.
Now we know why Epic applied for an Oxy NDA. Now it is up to the
Federal Circuit court to uphold the ruling or over turn it.
I still do not think a buyout comes until much later when Elite has opioids already on the market.
The one thing Elite still needs and will get is market approval of their product when they launch.
When that starts to happen then all bets are off.
Elite did not buy that 1000 kilo fluid bed dryer for just one opioid. They plan on several in the not too distant future.
All in my opinion of course.
Will 2017 be the year?
mrwrn I really like that 91% of scripts figure.
but but but Purdue will still have the oxy market right?
but but but I mean they cant lose market share to a company with a real ADF tied to IR Oxy like little itty bitty Elite.... can they? Doctors will prescribe opioids from a company with the best ADF? Really? Is that how it will probably play out?
The insurance companies will favor this too?
A safer narcotic? Imagine that! Wow.....
Never say nonsense.....
but but but Purdue has that really safe oxy for kiddlies......
and they also have the really safe turtle shell. Surely those versions of ran again ADFs will stay on the shelves......
the kiddie version... is that even in ADF form? Does Purdue use the Tommy Turtle shell coating for that one too?
Awesome if they do. Just hope the kiddies don't know how to operate a microwave oven. LMMFAO!
Oh no! Purdue Pharma had a bad day yesterday? Something about their patents?
but but but I thought they had everything all locked up as in the bag? LOL LOL
I heard the same stuff at $0.06 per share. It was total nonsense then too.
Now the revenues climb higher at faster and faster rates. Currently a $224 million market cap. I remember at those $0.06
share prices when total nonsense was all the rage that Elite had a measly $28 million dollar market cap.
Total nonsense? Not hardly..... but keep on with the denial LOL LOL
Not total nonsense. Just the opposite. Believe what those want to believe. $20 is reality once they get the opioid ADFs rolling out.
This could very well be as Dan Dorfman used to say "a Wall Street darling" in the making. Depending on what moves management makes
it could well be even more than $20..... believe what you wish.
I know what I believe and that is in Elite Pharmaceuticals plug and play multi billion $$$$ platform.
Who else has ANYTHING remotely like Elite? NOBODY. Not even close.
Multi Billion dollar platform..........$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Yes we know which one it was. Your guess.
Why hard to believe? Where is the expert that says that and why?
What makes this such a hard thing to believe and why the implications? If the naltrexone passes through the body no harm no foul. All tests Elite has performed show that naltrexone
remains sequestered and passes right through the body as advertised.
Heck the competition could not even perform well in some BE trials because the API opioid was dumping out.
Wonder who the competitor was? LOL LOL
Maybe Lasers. FDA needs to step it up some.
Very hard to predict what the FDA will do. One company may need efficacy trials while another may not. Approval of pharmacy grade
and made drug over a pharmaceutical grade drug with much stricter controls. The FDA is and never has been a slam dunk.
Approval of an oxycontin for children......
Hydrocodone approval.......
More non ADF opioids then ever out there.
With the FDA one never knows.....
Then again the public fallout has been rather high for the FDA over the past year or so. Does that agency have competent people
place to do the job required? Are they up to snuff on all of the latest technologies out there? With more coming?
Nope.... nope and nope. The FDA is fickle. "the fickle finger of fate" is the FDA.
With Elite the FDA kind of holds its own fate in its hands.
They can approve Embeda and wont approve Elites ADF?
Now that would be the boner of FDA stupidity IMO.
Just kicking back........ ball is in their court.
"doctor" Lowenstein.... name me one API that prevents people from becoming addicted to the most addictive opiates out there.
Heroin being one.... any pharmaceutical company that comes up with that one.... PLEASE let us know. That would be the investment of a lifetime.
Elites technology will just make it a whole lot harder for those who abuse prescription opioids to use those prescription opioids to get that pharmaceutical grade high quality high without resorting to unpredictable street grade low quality heroin.
Elites miracle tech magic bullet takes prescription opioids out of the equation. Next!
$2.3 million can be put towards another NDA filing. Elite got a freebee which is very good. A two for the price of one. A BOGO.
Anyone want to take a guess at what opioid is up after ELI-200?
Oh.... could not be more in agreement. And what an avalanche it is. More misinformation than one can shake a stick at.
But setting the "record straight"? Nonsense.
It may not prevent addiction.... what does?...but Elites miracle tech may prevent many from using prescription opioids as a means to get that pharmaceutical grade heroin high. I agree with you on that.
N2K is it fair to say that Elites balance sheet is stronger than it has ever been? TIA
Utter nonsense. Laugh out loud regardless of what is understood.
My argument is ridiculous except when it happens to the person thinking it is ridiculous.
This is not the Leave it to Beaver days. Things happen fast and kids are forced to grow up fast. As you pointed out companies don't care..... so we do nothing?
Yeah .... all the best to you 2.
Not too hilarious knowing the companys track record of which I speak.
And my point about Pfizers point was that Pfixer was trying its best to save face. The Cadillac of pharmaceutical companies blundering like an OTC start up. Then trying to stop the backlash they started by spending all of that time and money
on something no one wants anymore anyway.
Now that is a classic case of Big Pharma thinking they can do just about anything they want..... most times they get away with it... not this time. It cost them and continues to cost them.
Elites answer to the Embeda debacle will put Embeda on the shelf for good IMO. About time huh?
No stability issues to worry about anymore. No dose dumping to deal with. Elites version coming soon and my bet is that the FDA cannot wait for its arrival in pharmacy inventories.
Don't need to check any statement. A loss is a loss no matter how people try to spin it. How much money has Embeda made Pfizer over the years? My guess is it has not even reached break even.
Embeda was and still is a disaster.... by what used to be considered "the top pharmaceutical company"... Pfizer no less. LOL LOL
NEXT!
What company on this planet would do such a thing? Prescription opioids are gateway drugs to the larger heroin problem.
OxyContin for use by children. What a novel idea. What company would possibly put profit over lives of children?
Heroin easier to score then Marijuana. They deliver it right to your door.
Prescription opioids are the precursor to heroin.
What company would put revenue over lives? Children the new frontier for profit.
Hmmmmmmmmmm
Don't forget vomit and projectile vomit. Digestive juices don't work either. LOL LOL
Are you in for Vegas?
Seriously? Let me explain. $3.6 billion in expense minus $1.8 billion in revenue equals a $1.8 billion ($2 Billion) loss.
Next!
