TXPO - TXP Announces ONT Supply Agreement With Major Communications Technology and Infrastructure Provider
3/1/2007
RICHARDSON, TX, Mar 01, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
TXP Corporation (OTCBB: TXPO), an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) for the electronics and telecommunications industries, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to supply its Optical Network Terminal (ONT) equipment to a major provider of communications technology and infrastructure equipment.
ONTs are the customer premise located devices used by a carrier to serve residential and business customers over a PON-based (Passive Optical Networking) system. PON is a maturing point-to-multipoint technology which is being adopted by telephone companies globally because of its cost effectiveness in extending fiber-based service delivery all the way to the customer premise (Fiber-to-the-Home [FTTH] or Fiber-to-the-Premise [FTTP]). TXP's ONTs sit at each customer premise and are connected over fiber to an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) generally located in the carrier's central office. A single OLT can deliver services to hundreds of ONTs.
Michael C. Shores, President and CEO, stated, "We are very excited about this new partnership, which we believe marks the first of many ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) relationships with PON equipment manufacturers who will use our ONTs to provide PON-based service delivery solutions to carriers worldwide. We think our family of BPON and GPON ONTs are perfectly timed with the accelerating roll-out of new 'fiber-to-home' infrastructures needed to deliver 'triple-play' services."
This agreement comes just 2 months after TXP officially acquired the ONT business unit of Siemens.

BANY - might be good to keep on watch the next few days for a move up, especially if volume starts to increase. GL
Good Morning Trendfinders.
APXR, interesting news Obi, will keep watch!
I agree Cargo. BANY is in a nice position to move up from here, IMO. Volume was over the 10-day average yesterday as well.
Looking for a bounce here as well. Nice chart, indicators turning upward.
Fantastic look with the links in the IBOX Obi... I like it!
BANY has also reached its 10-day Vol. Average with just under an hour to go before the bell. May be bucking the trend here. Anyone else out there watching?
BANY is looking nice here for a possible bounce. Looks to have fairly good support, for the time being at least. Reached near its recent lows of the trend also. Will just have to watch closely. Wouldn't be surprised to see it close at the HOD.
I agree Cargo, looking at a position down here also. Support looks better, and due for a bounce.
Gains are always nice, remember profit is profit. :)

2/27/2007
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Feb 27, 2007 (PrimeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) --
Execute Sports, Inc. (OTCBB:EXCS) announced today that December 2006 sales were up a whopping 733% over December 2005. The company also stated that it has repeatedly received 100% on-time performance marks from its Internet sales partners.
In addition to the current season's watersports sales increase, Execute was able to sell all its obsolete hard and soft goods as well as obsolete OEM soft goods and moto graphics. Geno Apicella, CEO of Execute Sports commented, "Our sales team did a wonderful job of getting top dollar for our obsolete and close out merchandise. We wanted to make sure that we were moving into our new warehouse with clean inventory and have the ability to utilize the sales dollars to further invest in '07 inventory."
Apicella further commented, "The move to our new warehouse was a blessing because it pushed all of us to sell and clean out goods we no longer wanted to carry. In addition to reinvesting in current '07 merchandise, the sales will enable us to properly invest in R&D and turn unused inventory into new and exciting products for 2008."
In regards to shipping, Execute Sports has received a 99.3% on-time performance grade from its internet sales partners since moving from their San Clemente warehouse to their current fulfillment warehouse five weeks ago.
Celeste Berouty, President of Execute Sports commented, "It's a great feeling to know that the warehouse we chose has excelled so quickly. They have proven to be extremely professional and quite expeditious. In the past five weeks, we have only missed a perfect mark by two orders." Berouty further commented, "We are very excited that our product is reaching the customers in a timely manner and providing further confidence with our internet partners."
Execute Sports has surpassed all expectations during their first year of online sales. They have repeatedly received 100% on-time performance marks and this has enabled them to become a fast riser in watersports sales.

Paradigm Medical Industries Sees Higher Sales, Declining Loss in Fourth-Quarter Results
2/22/2007
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb 22, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED.OB/PMEDW.OB), a leading innovative producer of ultrasound devices for the ophthalmic and medical industries, reported today it expects improving results for the fourth quarter of 2006, ending December 31.
Revenues (unaudited) are projected to reach $595,000, an increase of more than 50% from the last quarter of 2005. This would bring full-year 2006 sales to $2.2 million, even with the year-ago level.
"The Company got off to a slow start this year, but began to gain momentum during the second half," said Paradigm Medical's Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Cannefax. "Moreover, our final-quarter revenues will be up more than 40% from the prior three months."
Mr. Cannefax continued, "Paradigm Medical substantially improved its product mix and controlled its fixed costs throughout the year, and it all began to come together during the last quarter. The Company will have a dramatic improvement in gross profit, with the margin hitting close to 65%."
According to the Company, operating expense was reduced by 16% in the quarter, to roughly $456,000. This will result in Paradigm Medical showing an operating loss of $(124,000) for the fourth quarter versus an operating loss of $(256,000) in the year-earlier period.
"We're not happy reporting a loss, but are satisfied that the programs initiated to improve performance and reduce costs are working," Mr. Cannefax noted.
"Paradigm Medical has been able to dramatically reduce its operating expense during the last year, particularly as we've streamlined the product portfolio into high-value-added, proprietary devices; launched a global-oriented sales and marketing effort; revitalized the management team; and received regulatory approval for several key Ultrasound products. We believe everything is in place for the Company to improve its financial performance in 2007 and beyond," Mr. Cannefax added.
"There will likely be some modest increase in operating expense in 2007, due to expansion of the sales and marketing efforts and several new-product introductions following regulatory approval in the U.S. and other regulatory agencies, particularly in state-of-the-art Ultrasound devices. Nonetheless, we believe the growth in revenues and margins will be sufficient to offset slightly higher expenses.
"Our business plan for 2007 and beyond is decidedly more growth oriented than mainly cost-containment oriented," Mr. Cannefax said. "We had to be defensive in recent years. We are now eager and ready to become more growth aggressive. We will, however, continue our efforts to keep our costs in close check."
Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (Salt Lake City, UT), currently develops, manufactures and markets high-tech, proprietary diagnostic equipment and consumable products for the medical industry. The Company is a leading developer of Ultrasound devices, and has been dubbed "The UBM Company" (Ultrasound BioMicroscope). Contact us at 801-977-8970 or visit us at www.paradigm-medical.com.
