As far as I’m concerned, please pass me the pipe!
Ex
I paraphrased Ashkan because I simply can’t remember everything from memory and didn’t want to spend the time looking up the reference.
I’m sure someone will fill in the blank shortly but I do remember it was this year, not long ago, I think at a neurological seminar or conference or follow up article.
I do miss the days when I had close to photographic memory in high school. I basically didn’t have to study, just pay attention in class.
Hey could be a lot worse at my age now!
Yes agreed all good points!
Right now nwbo needs that first approval and has resources focused on it. Once achieved they should and could broaden their scope, and I think LP alluded strongly to that.
First approval changes everything, including the point that the combo treatments should consist of individually approved elements.
And as Dr Ashkan said, the Uk may at this time and for this cancer be more for getting it to the patients in need than the US.
Different company sizes and assets, and the first time for any pre revenue biotech is particularly challenging.
If Merck or BMS had the technology they would have armies and relatively unlimited resources and funding to get through the turning of the crank phase.
But on the other hand the Mercks and BMSs didn’t come up with DCVax despite the vast resources!
Correct regarding order, which I took the liberty of changing because of relating it to nwbo/DCVax, and taking nothing away from Dickens, it’s also in the start of A Farewell to Arms, by Hemingway, in your correct order!
Appreciate your post and welcome the new knowledge since I either didn’t know the Dickens reference or forgot it.
As much as various factions and individuals may question nwbo, LP tried to assure us that nwbo is laser focused on approval, period, end of sentence, exclamation point!
LP spent a lot of time describing what is involved in preparing the MAA. That it’s a large effort being tackled with quality, including experts on each section of the application. As Eminem and LP have said, you only get one shot!
The application is an elephant and you eat an elephant a bite at a time, even with a hoard of hungry eaters, so it takes time and effort and given a non BP working capital you can’t spread or distract yourself from the most important goal!
The ever optimist I’m still guessing 1Q23 UK !
It was the worst of times
It was the best of times
Hemingway? No, the nwbo message board
I’m on team best of times, maybe a tad bit premature
Thank you for clarifying and expanding your perspective and approach to helping nwbo and dcvax.
I apologize to you for misconstruing your intent.
Happy New Year 2023 the year of DCVAX L !
You don’t tug on Superman’s cape
You don’t spit into the wind
You don’t pull the mask off the ole Lone Ranger
And you don’t mess around with the FDA
It’s not advised to make a lot of noise and cast any aspersions towards the agency that holds your approval (and your future) in its hand. No no no!
Maui in 1980 was not commercialized and just beautiful!
The only stop we made on the road to Hana was to have a guy at the roadside cut open a couple of coconuts and give them to us with straws to drink the fresh coconut water.
Even the destination at Hana wasn’t commercialized then.
The thought of a traffic light on that road makes me feel like remembering it like it used to be.
I bet the surfing on the north shore is still tops!
We saw some exquisite sunsets from Maui.
I understand Kauai is the lesser commercialized island, assuming Zuckerberg and Ellison left some of the top spots for the rest of us
No doubt about it!
It’s sad that the biggest threat to nwbo is not the science and efficacy, but the blasted cabal. But step by step we will succeed despite the cabal.
It’s been a long time but I think we saw him when we honeymooned in Oahu (stayed at Waikiki) and Maui (Wailea beach) back in 1980!
Unfortunately the last time we revisited Maui was in the mid 1980s when the Westin Maui opened. We stayed there within about 30 days or so of their opening. What a beautiful hotel it was, all fresh and new with nice pieces of art scattered throughout and live Macaws on perches that were placed around the grounds and pool area!
The fond memories have lasted a lifetime however we must return soon!
They (nwbo) is fully aware the cabal listens to the ASM and thus leave a little room for interpretation of status. It’s a fine line to walk!
Ha! I repeat Ha!
UK approval within 3 months of MIA, probably sooner.
Nwbo is the little train that could, and that little ant handling the rubber tree plant, the David to Goliath!
I repeat, HA !!!!
Gonna enjoy some tiny bubbles tonight!
Mahalo !
The day of reckoning is coming, and it’s getting closer all the time!
GLTA and Happy New Year 2023, the year of DCVaxL !
Praying with you as well !
The MIA is required before they can submit the MAA
It was just a wild guess that they might have wanted to dry run the meeting process including who would raise and second motions, but anyone’s guess is as good as mine.
Thanks, and one guess regarding the 4 outside callers, could they have been referring to the insiders that participated remotely such as Marnix, etc?
The LP we heard today sounded confident, strong, and in a good mood, and she didn’t beg for any financial support.
Far different than the exhausted, monotone, non joking, LP of several years ago, begging for financial support.
LP was even a little giddy at times today!
Maybe she was just feeling better today, however I sensed she was freer of spirit and confident overall. Not much if any hiding behind ifs and maybes, just straightforward A then B then C steps and prerequisites.
Also, I don’t know who else didn’t leave the Zoom meeting but I was busy and didn’t leave and LP and others were just conversing and might not have realized they were still on a hot microphone. LP sounded happy and was saying she was hanging around and not disappearing right away having concluded the meeting.
In summary everything sounded upbeat to me and under control.
Btw, a little nugget from my previous experience on backups is that you want to know everything is still working when you need it.
Since DCVax production relies on all steps and processes being in excellent order, including the human processes, and supply chain and materials freshness, I would want production occurring at both sites to some level to guarantee effective backup if needed.
So upon approval and probably prior, I’d expect the new contract with CRL to be in place.
She used the word backup, which makes sense because redundancy is needed in case one or the other facility encounters a problem. Production must continue.
I did this operations planning type thing early in my career for communications networks, and it was important, now imagine the impact on lives if you couldn’t manufacture the individual-specific life saving/extending vaccine for an extended period of time!
Uh, oh, that suggests nwbo is also slogging through all the sophomoric nonsense I post… oh, the humanity!
Geez, best wishes for a speedy recovery !
Maybe you should use the time to put a preemptive strategy in place, like a volunteer stint for a cause in the Bahamas, La Jolla, or Kauai?
OJ
I also share BB’s view, maybe even more optimistic than BB, and I really think we’re being realistic. I truly do.
Simplified logic:
DCVax L works at extending life with quality where nothing else does
We, humanity, all want that opportunity
DCVax thus has great value, ergo so too nwbo
DCVax has to be provided to address the obvious severe need
Combo early results are too great to deny
DCVax will find its way to address needs
It’s true. I’ve read it takes one, maybe more, trucks to deliver an approval filing.
Maybe it’s the constant onslaught of the cabal’s dogs waiting to capitalize on any opportunity to malign and/or damage nwbo.
There is no hill or mountain we can’t climb
Babe
Agree that UK approval is the earliest and will serve as lever and to keep fda honest. EMA will follow UK.
Nwbo will apply for UK approval as soon as MIA approved, which is any day now. All the prep LP described is to enlighten shareholders who are understandably frustrated at the passage of time. I don’t believe it was meant to imply UK approval filing will be delayed, as the work has been in progress earlier.
FDA filing might be later, but that has been my assumption.
In any event, first approval is the current goal and it is being focused on and worked.
The negative narratives are going to be blaring out louder and louder until approvals and beyond, because that’s what they’re being paid to post imo.
I’ll be picking up your shares if you give them up at a opportune price!
Obviously another orchestrated move on the stock price since longs would not sell on the basis of what was shared at the ASM.
I was not at all disappointed by what LP shared, and she sounded upbeat and confident, and honest to me.
She confirmed a lot and she gave insights, and she didn’t just barrel through the Q&A.
Let’s not forget we have boots on the ground at the event and they have further opportunity to interact with LP and other company reps and probably share bonus insights with us!
My mom passed from cancer early Thanksgiving morning 2019, and we miss her every holiday since, but nobody gets out alive as they say… despite requesting that her tumor, or a piece, be stored properly for a remote chance at DCVax, it was stored in the usual paraffin. I wanted that potential treatment to be a possibility, even if extremely remote, as her cancer was inoperable and metastasized.
Btw, I highly recommend Dr Roger Hartl of Cornell Weill for spinal surgery and treatment.
We can use all the ethereal positive energy we can get!
Thanks Doc, appreciate the background. I lived through it myself but my recall is not at past peak level.
