ask upticked...
especially if the MMs are short (which I am sure they have short shares) Does one really think they are going to let the PPS run up as they cover? they will trade it sideways, like they have quite a few times here for the past few weeks. I watched another stock for about two weeks that did the same thing. It traded sideways for 4 days straight then up then pulled back to the previous level and traded sideways another 3-4 days, then the PPS went up rather fast.
the court just has to sign, and now we are earning interest.
Add the NOL and others and keep on coasting...
ooh, my bad, I thought this info was well known. I guess it was discussed on the "other" board
I am a bit puzzled, are you just now seeing this for the first time, or are you just restating?
Anyway, this is why I keep pondering why JPM agreed to start paying interest on this cash, as of recently. They agreed to turn the cash over already, it just has to be signed in court (yet it has been delayed how many times after this statement)?
They surely wouldn't be doing it out of the goodness of their hearts would they? Why the delays?
not sure...
it very well may be...
LOL thanks Watson...
yep I pointed that out. These look like somewhat large numbers too me.
Notice of Intent to Purchase, Acquire or Otherwise Accumulate WMI Stock by Barclays Capital, Inc. The blacked out parts are the amounts of shares.
It appears there are 2 commas in the first BLANK
These appear to be at least 7 digit numbers...
the J Preferred looks like its a 7 digit number (at least it appears to start with a 1 and end in a zero...
they are about 15 or so days old right now also...
no what you posted is probably correct. In your first post you said they were down to 16 million shares left to cover.
That 16 million is actually the daily share volume. The short interest on Nov 28 was 67 million. I wonder what it is now- 20 days later!
your looking at average daily share volume...
I have yet to see anywhere that updates the shorts daily/weekly (maybe there is a service one can pay for, not sure)
what did you find a discrepancy in?
LOL yep
It is rather baffling. I dont see why their shares owned %s would change for these transactions?
=STEALTH MODE
the 2 is for a footnote annotation...
read further...
"First, the liabilities listed are not final, and are still subject to compromise.
The assets include over $4 Billion Cash. The liabilities consist mainly of notes/bonds, with due dates from 2009 to 2041. One month interest due on those is about $75 million, easily paid considering the amount of cash available.
There are also about $20 Billion Net Operating Losses (NOL's), whose tax benefits need to be taken into account."
otherwise its measuring in liquid form...
so he is accumulating/ or covering; has been the past week or so I believe. Before too long it will be too hard for him to control. IMO
things are in motion here...
it is interesting...
I thinks so. I really do.
if your in the actual courtroom, or if you pay for the court "conference" call (whatever its called) like some is/may be doing
it would be available (later than sooner). Some details will be harder to get, unless you get it "first person". It is a court proceeding, they will not repeat verbatim in the press and filings, IMO
a link, LMAO. This is one of those instances where the phrase "post the link" should make some realize "links" are not GOD
Not all stock information revolves around "links".
yes, as soon as markets closed thats what it went too...
some nice EOD volume....
bid and ask both at .0295 longer than I have seen any bid and ask be the same...
ask @ .028....
Yes I think it should be updated. Maybe that will help some to understand better.
ooh yeah knew that but was trying to figure out if they were to get it, why would they be paying interest to themselves? Therefore, why are they so willing to pay interest on it for WMI?
They haven't been thus far. Why start now?
If TPG was going to put in an offer, would it be a conflict of interest that Bonderman was on the board; therefore, the resignation?
thats what I was trying to get around??? what are they doing?
the trading the past few days should say something...
the "stocks" were unusually manipulated IMO
