based on the price action always returning to 50 cents. I would say the PP is going thru at 50 cents. Just a guess. After it is finalized then maybe the price can run a little untethered.

Digi - Nice buy at close to or at low of the day.
I paid more for mine but still happy to be on board the train now.
Good luck in the coming months with this one.
Have you looked at PTQ that Bobwins gave us. 65 million market cap for a 100,000 ounce gold producer is quite a bargain. Upside growth with further exploration and plans to potentially expand mill from 2200 TPD to 5000 TPD.
JFF7
DIGI - Tmb.to
was that you adding at 2.74. That's where I was camped out also.
would like to pick up a few warrants as well but not much volume so that will limit the size of my purchase there.
CL001 serves up another fine dish.
JFF7
PTQ.TO vs TMM.to
these two are somewhat similar in resource size, production profile and mine maturity are they not? Yet PTQ is about half the market cap of TMM. Is the outlook for TMM rosier?

You guys have too much money. Hanging out here will only make that "problem" worse.

it was mentioned in an interview on BNN this morning as well. But can't remember which one unfortunately.

SGR.V
same great drill results, same market reaction. why?
SGR's management has not demonstrated the ability to get the gold out fo the ground profitably. Is this on purpose so they have more time to prove up resources before someone makes them an offer they can't refuse? Or is it a lack of ability with on the part of management and miners? I don't really know.
Either show the results in a much fatter 43-101 resource estimate or show they can get the gold out of the ground with a profit that matches the grades. Until on of those happens, the market just yawns again.
JFF7
AMC.to - Curlews
I don't follow AMC but from what you say about opening three mines, I would think the market is anticipating some major raising of capital through share offerings.
Good luck with AUM (thinking about getting back in) and TVI (I took a small position).
JFF7
CORK - TVI
Thanks for the update. I will have to go look for that misinformation I had. TVI sounds great if the issue isn't there as you say. That's the only thing that prevented me from taking a look at it closer as I really like to see long term value in the companies I invest in. Obviously more value there than I was giving it credit for.
JFF7
TVI.V
I read somwwhere that TVI is going thru their high grade production right now but that it will end at some point this year. Is that right? I hear a lot about how under valued TVI is based on current production but how long will those production results last? Have I got this wrong?
JFF7
Nuts - GLW
Sorry Nuts but your post is not clear to me.
Does GLW get just the gold credits from FNX's production or do they have all of the precious metals by-products that FNX produces?
Do you have any predictions / estimates for GLW next qtr?
JFF7
SGR.V -$.10 close at $3.06
I have started to accumulate this dog again. The price is about 30% off it's highs and may be starting to turn the corner to profitability. A long time coming.
Also I think they have all their ducks in a row now to get a TSX listing.
Sentiment is also at a low for many long term holders. This is often a good time to pick some bargains.

MTO.V $60,000 placement?

85% gamble?
WTH, I think one big piece is missing from this equation and I would like Coinmaker to comment on it. What % of your net worth is invested in this 85% ?
It's very misleading to say that one has 85% invested in 2 stocks if only a much smaller proportion of your funds available for investment is invested in the stock market.
It's true that it really says a lot of commitment that you are only invested in 85 % in two stocks out of all the equiteies that you may hold. However if the majority of your investment money is not tied up in the stock market then that same statement has a lot less conviction behind it. People that have money invested in fixed income venicles or private businesses or other investment choices have spread their risks out over a lot more than just the stock market. Most of us are focussing our investments on equities (right or wrong) so it is easy to misread this 85 percentage in two stocks as more of a investment commitment than it may be.
Don't get me wrong, I follow coinmakers posts closely because I think he makes good investment decisions based on both undervalued stocks and timing (never gets married to a stock) but his situation must be taken in context.
I hold some MMT (less than 5%of invested dollars) and no TVI at the moment.
JFF7
yes I bought some more OGC as well. Already have a lot of CGA.
Looking at TVI...hopefully it won't run away on me.
Have a good weekend all.
JFF7
CGA.TO also breaking down.
Lots of gold juniors seem to be heading seriously lower.
CGA is about 25% off it's highs. But there doesn't seem to be any obvious reasons. Maybe it is shopping for financing and the suitors are trying to get the best deal they can. Has anyone heard anything?

NHC.TO one lawsuit droppped (rolled in to arbitration)
Statement from Northstar Healthcare
Toronto, ON and Houston, TX, March 25, 2010 - Northstar Healthcare Inc. sounds like things are going well for you. Your starting to sound a little giddy. Gotta loves days like this in the market.
Selling some OGC and buying CGA to replace it. Hopefully will reverse that process when OGC pullsback and CGA breaks free.

AGT - merger with Linear
at face value, it smacks of AGT re-shuffling the deck because they can't make it with what they have delivered so far.

ECU.to - GK
OK. I'll keep this short.
First, I meant no offense. I was just reacting.
The first post I saw refered to pending breakout ("bust a move") and posted a 5 year chart of the share price. I assumed the chart supported the thinking that a breakout was about to start, You also mentioned needing patience so I assume with a chart that shows a three year down slope that you may have been waiting a long time. I see that I was wrong on that assumption.
My comment about needing a short term chart to see signs of a breakout just seemed like a logical thing to say as a long term breakout would need at least a few months of up trend to really show up. Even your own line on the 5 year chart is only downward sloping. A short term chart may show more evidence than what the long term chart showed.
My second comment to your explanation was just another reaction. You lost me with reference to fractals and to similaries to patterns of young ferns growing. Your ending of "Bend the spoon" put me over the top. All I could say was...OK. Your strategies are obviously way over my head because I just don't get them or the refernces.
I think we can just leave it at that. And again, no disrespect for your way of doing things.
JFF7
Ummm OK
ECU.to
LOL, your reading a 5 year chart to tell you it is ready for a breakout? Man, you must have been holding for a long time.
I own some ECU to, but I would look to a shorter term chart to see if it is ready to move.
JFF7
MTO.V
I think you summed it up pretty well. Nothing too exciting and nothing too disappointing (other than the share price hasn't moved in a while).
POG is pressing upwards now. I will sell a little more MTO into any price rise generated by these drill results and the increase of the POG.
I continue to unwind my position in MTO and put it in better opportunities like OGC and CGA. I'm in no hurry though. IF MTO does take off, I will stiock around to see where it goes.

CGA - who's dumping and why
IMO, the price of CGA has been depressed lately. In looking at the transactions, it looks like pcomputerized selling as there are a lot of 100 shares sales by Anonymous. Anyone have any ideas who this might be and why they are selling? Would it be related at all to the PP they issued recently at $2.20?
JFF7
GoldenKnight, you earned yourself a people mark. Thatnks for the commentary.

I lightened up recently on them. Still have a lot but I don't like not hearing anything for a long time when I feel management is suspect. No news is bad news in my mind.

OGC.TO -
"The net proceeds of the Offering and the Private Placement, if completed, will be used to fund the restructure of the Company’s existing gold hedging facilities."
so does this mean they are buying out the PUTs they have for 2010? More dilution (no warrants it looks like) but they will be able to sell their gold at spot rate now? At least that is my read of it.
JFF7
I hope your right....

how can the interest rates go any lower?

IAE.V
It's falling hard in a market that is falling hard. Any stocks that went up hard recently will be more susceptible to a hard fall. Doesn't man anything has changed fundamentally for the company. The market is trading on fear now, not reason. People will take profits from their biggest gainers.
