Just wondering if I have this correct a 100mw project would be mw = 1mil watts x 100 = 100million watts x $1 per watt (solterra's projected pricing) = $100 million project?

Powering Ahead with Solar Energy
Governments, academics and businesses must work together to fulfill the potential of solar energy, a group of experts has been told.
A Solar Energy Coordination and Communication Workshop held at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has accelerated moves to introduce the solar energy industry in the Kingdom.
His Excellency Dr Khaled Al Sulaiman, Vice-President for Renewable Energy at the King Abdullah City of Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE), told the gathering about recent mandates received from the government declaring that nuclear and renewables would be among the energy options adopted by Saudi Arabia.
"KACARE has been given responsibility to guide renewable energy efforts," he said. "We are charged with technology development and investigating nuclear and renewable energy resources."
"We can do it — I mean all of us, all stakeholders in Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with others globally. There will be no turf fighting or the marking of territories."
His Excellency Dr Abdullah Al Shehri, Governor of the Electricity and Co-Generation Regulatory Authority (ECRA), spoke about the feasibility of renewable energy sources contributing to the Kingdom’s power supply. And Ahmed Al Khowaiter, Director of New Business Development at Saudi Aramco, described the company’s efforts to drive solar energy development in Saudi Arabia.
Amin Al Shibani, KAUST’s Vice–President of Economic Development, said: "The introduction of a new industry, any industry in any nation, is faced with a lot of obstacles and challenges. With determination and leadership the key stakeholders will overcome these obstacles."
The workshop, which attracted 140 delegates from the Kingdom and abroad, followed the publication of a report entitled Saudi Arabia Solar Energy Study: Manufacturing and Technology Assessment by KAUST’s Industry Collaboration Department.
The main objectives of the workshop were to share information about solar initiatives in the Kingdom, form a mechanism to encourage cooperation and communication, coordinate strategies and lay the foundations for the introduction of a solar energy industry in Saudi Arabia.
Professor Ghassan Jabbour, Director of KAUST’s Solar and Alternative Energy Engineering Research Center, said his facility’s mission was to make solar energy low–cost and therefore commercially viable.
"Our main wealth is knowledge," he added. "We must encourage the process or we won’t move an inch forward. Our center is investing in the human mind."

I know the big players are on the move, I've had dealings with Richard Chancis in the last few weeks and he has been more than helpful with the situation up here in Canada. IMHO I am more confident than ever that we are close to seeing some big news about to break.
GLTA
BTW thanks Barrymore for the laughs! (you are joking right?)
Sorry about the misquoted share price. Note to self 5min research on iPhone while driving not advised. GLTA
Wow Nanoco is pretty impressive for a company that sells QDs as it's primary product if I have it correct share price $89.00p = $135us with outstanding shares at 185 million. Hope to see QTMM reach their heights.
I'd be quite happy if our pps reaches the $89.25p of Nanoco!!
Exerpts from Nature Magazine July edition
A crisis is developing beneath China’s thirsty
farms and cities, but no one knows its full
extent. With about 20% of the world’s population
but only about 5–7% of global freshwater
resources, China draws heavily on groundwater.
Those reserves are being depleted at an
alarming rate in some regions and are badly
polluted in many others, warned experts
last week at the International Groundwater
Forum 2010 conference in Beijing.
“The water crisis is not unique to
China,” says Frank Schwartz, a hydrologist at
Ohio State University in Columbus, who was at
the meeting. “But the problem here is orders of
magnitude bigger than anywhere else.”
Groundwater is used to irrigate more than 40%
of China’s farmland, and for about 70% of the
drinking water in the dry northern and northwestern
regions. According to Opportunities and
Challenges in the Chinese Groundwater Science,
a 2009 report sponsored by China’s National
Natural Science Foundation and China Geological
Survey (CGS), part of the Ministry of Land
and Resources (MOLR), the past few decades
have seen groundwater extraction increasing
by about 2.5 billion cubic metres per year to meet
these needs. Consequently, groundwater levels
of the arid North China Plain have dropped as
fast as 1 metre a year between 1974 and 2000,
forcing people to dig hundreds of metres to
access fresh water, according to research presented
by Bridget Scanlon, a hydrogeologist at
the University of Texas at Austin.
Already, water is scarce for two-thirds of
China’s 660 cities, according to a survey by the
Ministry of Water Resources (MOWR). And as
China’s economy expands, so will its demand
for water. The country will consume 750 billion
cubic metres of water a year by 2030, about 90%
of the total amount of usable water resources in
the country, projects the MOWR.
Looks like SC2 has many potential customers.
Great posts Crunch, the 60 minutes video was very interesting, it shows water issues are not only 3rd world country problems. IMHO SC2 has huge potential, their biggest hurdle is being the first to ship out of Sitka. Once that first container is delivered this company will soar. GLTA
Well said Ion22. Here's another bio of our man Dr. Bob
Are We There Yet? A look at technology and where we expected to be by now.
In 1992, "Dr. Bob" and his team at Sun Microsystems (many of them had come from Apple) embarked on trying to envision the future with the hopes of trying to figure out where technology was headed. Two years later "Starfire" - a Vision of the future was released. Starfire was a look at the world of 2004 (from the vantage point of 1992-1994) and an attempt to create a "video prototype". The team felt that by creating a short video, the user experience of a corporate customer could be better developed. At the time the film was developed and released (1992-1994) there was no common knowledge of the internet or widespread use of email, yet these items are forecast in the film.
Join with Dr. Bob to glance at the future through the past. The film is 25 minutes in length and offers an amusing peek at where we should be by now... Are we there yet?
Dr. Bob Glass' experience includes creating and running engineering teams at major industry players Apple and Xerox, and developing and managing a 150-person engineering team at Sun Microsystems. No stranger to the startup world, he has served as CEO, CTO and VP of R&D, and through his consulting firm eou.com, as engineering development consultant for several new companies. These have included B2B and B2C software firms and hardware developers for aerospace applications.
Dr. Glass is recognized as a leading technical entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and is frequently called upon as an advisor. As one of the leading technologists at Sun, he became one of the main spokespersons for the firm, and is still a much sought-after keynote speaker at conferences around the world, as well as civic organizations such as the Rotary Club.
Obsolete, I would never want to put words in p19 mouth but I'm sure he is getting sick and tired of having to defend and supply all the DD for this stock. This stock is a risk we all know that, if it was a sure thing it wouldn't be .10c. If this is too much for you to handle sell and move on.
GLTA
Freegrass, reading between the lines it looks like P19 or you have had some correspondence with Squires, is there anything you could share with the rest of us?
Dr. Bob's resume makes me really worried...not someone I would want involved in my startup company.. ;) lol
Robert A. Glass,Ph.D. - CTO
“Dr. Bob” is an internationally known scientist and technologist, with over 30 years of experience in technology. As a scientist Dr. Glass led the design of LED displays used in open cockpit submarines for the Navy. Dr. Glass' experience includes running Scientific and Engineering teams at major industries including NIST (U.S. Dept. of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology's- Photometry Division in the Center for Building Technology- he was chief of 13 scientists working in Illumination & Photometry standards development). At Lockheed, he was in charge of Advanced Development for Space Station including designing a laminar flow bench for on orbit repairs of equipment which is onboard the space station. He specialized in working with the astronauts on developing hardware for space walks (EVA missions). He and his team developed NASA 3000, the first hardware standard ever developed for NASA. He worked with Rotary Rocket and Weaver Aerospace on the design of hardware for their private space program. Dr. Bob has extensive software experience as well, having led engineering teams at Xerox, Apple and Sun Microsystems. He is the author of more than a dozen technical papers on human vision, and holds 13 U.S. And International Patents on display technology. He previously served with the National Academy of Science as a postdoctoral advisor and committee member and as an advisor to MIT, Georgia Tech. and Syracuse University's School of Information Studies. He's a Fellow of the Silicon Valley World Internet Center. He is a frequent guest of the government as a reviewer for the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Advanced Technology Program and government conferences on building high tech start-ups. He is best known for his predictions of a changed world built on nanotechnology including MEMS through his film "Starfire" and his hundreds of technology futures' speeches around the world throughout the 1990's. Bob earned his doctorate at the University of Maryland in Sensory Processes & Physiological Psychology and specialized in brain functioning and human color vision.
It always renews my faith in this stock when I go to their website and review the credentials of the group Squires has assembled. I firmly believe these individuals would never associate their good name and standing with a company that didn't have an amazing "disruptive" technology and product
I still pinch myself when I see the quality of people involved
with QTMM check the following link and scroll down to our friend Mr Ghassan Jabbour who is the center director for Solar and alternative energy. Impressive individual at one of the worlds most advanced universities.

Kaust post:
In order to achieve the Solar Photovoltaic Engineering Research Center’s vision and goal of developing highly-efficient solar cells at low cost, we will implement a multidisciplinary approach that integrates many scientists and engineers with complementary skills, and strongly shared interest to work in a team setting to solve these challenging but highly-rewarding tasks. The Center will start with a heavy focus on solar energy and expand in the future years to encompass areas such as energy storage, wind energy, and geothermal energy. In realizing our vision, the research team will consist of the following working groups:
Materials Chemistry and Engineering: In this working group, chemists and materials scientists will collaborate on developing the needed materials with the required optical and electrical properties to allow successful fabrication of efficient devices. In rationally designing the materials, the team will rely on integrating both the synthetic routes along with quantum simulations and modeling to fine tune and optimize the materials properties. Closed feedback of information between this group and the device physicists and engineers will allow for best optimization to be reached in minimum time frames. Several classes of materials will be targeted, including nanoparticles, quantum dots, molecular and polymeric materials, and hybrids. The materials will further be modified to yield themselves to low-cost processing techniques such as printing. The team will also be working closely with the Device Physics and Processing working group to develop novel transparent conductors and the necessary materials approaches needed for reliable encapsulation of solar cells.
Anyone have thoughts on how QTMM's technology compares to Shrink's? It's a little over my head the exact details one vs the other.
Crunch thanks for the update I just recieved an email from Lauren regarding this matter and she replied with...
HI Trevor,
We have the company’s attorney looking into the issue and hope to have it rectified soon. I’ll keep you posted.
Best,
Lauren
Hopefully soon I'm looking to add before the masses figure QTMM out and send this stock through the roof. GLTA
Green Giant is the key here.Remeber we still haveQTMM to consider as a money maker as well.I agree Crunch this thing will go nuclear....I mean solar lol
http://greengiantventurefund.com/
Barrymore, your comments are right on the mark. Looking forward to the next press release as the plan unfolds. IMHO it's no longer "if" but when we will see QD sales and a solar panel after that the possibilities are almost endless. GLTA
Purvida thanks for that analysis that was (Pur)e poetry! All your hard work is much appreciated. GLTA
This is great news for us Canadians we can finally buy! All the waiting and wondering is becoming reality. GLTA!!
You've never seen a salmon going up river to spawning grounds, fish do jump just like this stock is going to when the news starts to sink in, First Solar here we come..Crossing my fingers for name change and access to trading here in Canada, I'm hoping to aquire more shares before this thing really gets rolling..GLTA
Barrymore. Or is that Drew Barrymore? Now the referance to a 13 year old with pigtails makes sense (ET?) Yes URST has been good to me, and they are actually into Vanadium not Uranium, uplisting to TSX and name change in the near future. Sorry to get off track board members back to HGUE.
HGUE is a company that interests me beyond the ability to create profit, if they can deliver this technology it could revolutionize multiple industries including the solar energy business. I have a solar/geothermal installation company that has seen the potential of renewable energy to eliminate our reliance on fossil fuels. Purvida put it well when he labeled it "disruptive" technology and possible game changer. Profits + make the world a better place = win,win...GLTA
Why does everyone think Barrymore is some kind of god on this board frankly I think %90 of what he says is bs. I almost lol when I read his comment about one of his "scientists" (how many do you have on staff?) developing something that will revolutionize the mining industry, not to mention his group of 565 money makers who are worth more than 8 digits wow! If you really are intent on contributing to this board don't be so damn sensitive and acting like your better than the rest of us. Btw I do appreciate all the hours Purvida, DmcD5 and Ih8aloss contribute to this board with informative info. Tnxs
Nice find DMcD5! can't wait til next week! Wishing we were open for business here in Canada (hope to here about that soon) cause I'm itchin to buy some more. GLTA
Purvida, am I correct in recalling there was talk of a split of Hague / Solterra being considered? And was there ever talk of free shares being issued in the break off company? Thanks
Well all the Canadians are still here, talked with BC securities commision and there is a trading halt across Canada for unfiled financials. I phoned investor relations and spoke with Lauren Milner, she is completly
aware of the situation and mentioned the papers are a minor issue and will be filed in short order. The impression I had was now that things are starting to roll they are tying up loose ends.
I'm still wondering how you managed to buy as a Canadian Barrymore?? Anyways just letting any new
investors up in Canada in on the situation. I was hoping to get in for another 100k today : ( but I can't be too upset with the way this stock is going to climb.
GLTA
Thanks for that info Barrymore, perhaps they have finally filed the paperwork required. I will email Lauren Milner in addition to calling my broker and see if I get a response.
Wishing I could get in for another 100,000 myself but us Canadians are out of luck for now. Hopefully witn the name change we will be back in good standing in Canada soon. Looks like the boys in Vancouver are going to owe Barrymore and Purvida a steak dinner and some BC wine. Thanks for all the effort.
GLTA
Wow I was worried I'd see Squires in the list of fraudsters. Thoughts like that are convincing me that its time to move on (unfortunetly can't even sell if I wanted to up here in Canada...sigh)
As one of the "silent" listeners here I just want to thank the 3-4 posters that keep mining up all this evidence that we are on the right track. I've attempted to find a gem here and there but always seem to get scooped. Been an investor in HGUE for 6 months or so now and was hoping to add more to my portfolio but up here in Canada its still a no go for trading. Hoping with the name change things will be back online and I can still buy in before the masses come knocking down the door. GLTA
Nice post Crunch, they do indeed have the heavy hitters on board, everything is lining up for a run IMO
Solar fridge, note...thanks for the early morning laugh Purvida I just about shot coffee across my desk.
Thanks to everyone on this board providing great information and analysis. Check the following link for factory info in Jeddah City its a little old but I don't think i've seen a post with this link before. Cheers
http://www.plusplasticelectronics.com/Energy/Printed-PVs-power-new-Saudi-cities.aspx
Crunch nice post, there is huge potential here just a matter of getting all their ducks in a row. There is alot of groundwork that needs to be in place to make this happen. Water contract (check) a means to ship the water (check) now just the means to distribute the huge quantity of water (in the process) this will be a big winner IMHO
Zummer ty for the inquiry into the trading halt in Canada please let me know if you have any new info, I am putting a call into company lawyer again tomorrow hopefully with an update..
cheers
Does anyone have an update on S2C? I have emailed the company requesting some information and hope to hear a response shortly. If anyone has some info to share please post.
Tnxs
Also a tnxs to Puravida for keeping us all up to date, been watching this one for awhile.
Looking forward to the trading halt being lifted for us Canadians tnxs for the efforts to look into the issue Crunch55.
