Thanks Nick. I have a few Fidelity accounts. Got it.

Seeing more green this morning. Still in deep red though with a couple of bright spots.
WMT continues to hit it's old foe at around $126. Will it ever hit $130 ? That's the question. At $130 its 100% return fore me and I can sell half, using other peoples money. I'll take that to the bank if ever that occurs.
Sarcasm and criticism of the situation isn't feckless, it's funny. Just a less serious take on a serious situation. Comparing these circumstances to a race is the point.
Portfolios up 3.5 %. Still in the red. Cash is still king.
Thanks SF
I guess it's all relative SF.
Just consider me The Red Baron flying my bi-plane by the seat of my pants in an F-15 world.
Very Bad news, Elroy.
Hi SF,
I used my own roulette wheel, consulted my Ouija board and gazed deeply into my crystal ball.
Closed TQQQ pre-market @ $47.32 from $41.
15.39% since opening last Thursday afternoon.
Since I really don't know what I'm doing and generally blindfold myself then throw a dart then pick that stock, I buy it then get the heck out of it quickly with a profit, or if it doesn't move up I sell it even more quickly. Getting lucky every once in a while is fine with me. My long term holds, bought with a huge amount of research most times are at least 30% down. So there's something to be said for blind folded. So there's that.
SF, we're talking reported cases, and since testing is few and far between, I would say that everything thesis wise is yet to be proven. It will be statistically proven once we have the data to model. That'll be after the fact. Unfortunately.
Not so sure about T. I was to add at $26, lowered to $23 Nick,
Seems to have worked fairly well, I have my own, thanks. That a Ouija board, and a crystal ball.
Would this change your opinion on T ??? Your add target ? Would you liquidate your position or reduce if given the chance on a rally ?
These are serious bad times we're heading in to.
Maybe and I say Maybe he's been unwell. Not to start a rumor.
Not good news for T. That'll change things for orphans and widows.
After hours sold AMZN,
Opened TQQQ @ $$41. God help me. Going in heavy this weekend . Famous last words... Opened then closed AMZN at $1907. Got greedy and wound up with nothing.
No $ cost averaging here.

Dow implied open sliding.
Added a bit more at end of trading day on Wednesday to Index 500 fund from Money Market in NYC Deferred Comp IRA plan and Janus Balanced Fund from Black rock Gov't Money Market Fund in Insurance Annuity.
Planting seeds.
The Russel Nick- LOL.
Well, walked away for a few and low and behold, Reopened AMZN at 1907. Woe is me. I'm usually right on these things, not this time though.
I need another 1000 down from today before I go back in Nick. A good 2000 total point drop will provide the opportunity I'm looking for.
Thanks SF for your encouraging words regarding ABBV.
Good dividend, for me probably a long term hold. Not going to add more as I have too much weight in declines in my portfolios and I won't cost average at this point. I'm continuing to raise cash with round trip trades. If I could do that with ABBV I'd do it.
The way I figure is this, NO new long term money into stocks. Short term $ and once the dust clears and I can sell some stocks at less of a loss to offset the stupendous taxable gains I've made, I'll then do that.
I'm in no hurry for any of that.
Okay, what's your entry point? I'm in it at 97
So is he saying that a new low will set that bar or that it will "endure" for a while at the low ?
Both perhaps ?
Great article Nick. So I guess I should sell my ABBV.
Though I sold some stocks at extraordinary profits early in this rout and had extra cash around anyway especially in my non qualified account, that cash has really come in handy for quick round trip sales. Which is good. Unfortunately I spent all of my qualified powder early into this rout. Now I patiently wait to see green.
However, in my NYC Deferred Compensation accounts and my Insurance Annuity accounts I am still flush with cash and have been buying since 3/16/20 on certain down days. So far returns are up 6.6% in my NYC deferred Comp accounts. The Insurance Annuity is also showing +++ numbers I'm happy to say.
Now I need more 1000-2000 point downsides to cost average in more buys do more round trips and cost out of some qualified holdings to raise more cash..
At these levels though I won't commit more $$$ to anything, the markets go up, my stocks go up I sell them. Everything is for sale and nothing is sacred.
Baby with the bathwater. When in Rome do what the Romans do...
... just don't catch CV I always say.
So it goes...
CCL's bonds are paying like 26%
It went from 70 1/2 to 74 anyway.
Closed IBM at 112. 12%
Watching and patiently waiting.
You still think there'll be a retest Nick ?
I think I said that about 3-5 days ago.
In any case, I can't do anything now as the volatility is gone. Those swings I took advantage of is gone for the most part. So I bought a few GM bonds yielding around 7%..
We'll see what comes after rebalancing at month end. Maybe another drop ? Lets hope so.
WOO HOO !
It's buying time !
And we love you too Orphan OXY bot.
After a quick reopen again last night of AMZN at $1900, re- closed AMZN at $1920. Yay.
It's not bouncing around the way it had been, so I'll focus on other picks already in the works.
If this is the rally that common sense would say should not be happening and will eventually result in much woe, then I'll let ride my beaten down stocks and others added to or opened just recently to keep. Other wise, I'll still be cash ready to buy once the gnashing of teeth begins again.
I still believe that this windfall can't last. But we'll see now won't we.
I'll just collect my 2 pensions and Social security and sit back with my stocks and (hopefully) make some more money.
'm getting there Nick. Discipline first.
Well, got caught at the bell in a downdraft with AMZN opened at $1900. Though I don't like holding overnight, I have to.
Holy Moly ! BX is actually up and green in my dividend reinvestment portfolio. Wow. Amazing ! Everything else still red though. Oh well.
That in spite of the fact that it's up over 5% today alone ! Oy !
