Pulp Fiction... I mean Battlefield Earth. Missed it.
What happens?
Also, excited to see what COMM does today.
To me, August 8th could be the ticket?
Get this issues behind them.
Say we're a different company and start amending MSO 13 relationships.
Emphasize this would have NEVER happened under CommScope.
What can we do to serve you?

Yes, in general, the consumer always & only pays.
Well, at least the income earners, workers or those that contribute to the production of goods or services.
But in this case, it will ONLY be COMM shareholders that pay.
In a free market capitalistic society, the CONSUMER decides WHERE & HOW to spend his or her money.
BTW... Capitalism is 100%, without a doubt, absolutely, the worst form of an economic system, besides all the rest.
One has to realize, there is extreme pricing pressure in most businesses, including this one.
The 13 MSOs (and others) can always CHOOSE to go with another supplier or competitor.
Also, in general, money ALWAYS FLOW into the MOST VALUE (or greatest return) for the LEAST COST (or risk-reward).
Retail sales collapsing while internet sales increasing, in one of many examples, that PROVES this FACT.
What did it cost you when the largest retail rental movie companies went under? Nothing (unless shareholder).
It's one of the basic principles of money and capitalistic competition.
Anyway, something to think about; otherwise, please prove me wrong.
Locked & loaded UOIP, aka, #BC900M+_Long.

Synergies were 2 align & become more valuable.
The business segment COMM's in should be relatively stable with semi-consistent revenues.
From all analysis:
- Has it been disclosed what ARRIS did with all the $7.4B, which included paying off debt
- For some reason, my mind will NOT let go of the idea, COMM's executives have NO choice except to buy ChanBond's patents
- To me, it's the only way they keep their cushy executive jobs, enjoy their executive perks and remain a going concern
Yes, of course, it's probably just wishful thinking.
But, I mean, look at that sell-off.
Something has to be priced-in, hopefully disclosed August 8th.
Their decline "Should" not be that bad unless something's up, but they did take on a lot of debt.
COMM's 3 month decline = Market Cap loss of (194M * (26-14.60)) = $2.21 Billion

P.S. I cannot wait for that August 8th COMM filing.
I think something is going to be disclosed (but probably my wishful thinking).
I'm not biased or anything like that!
It's the 13 MSOs being sued BA.
And they have the cash to pay.
It's if COMM wants to rescue the 13 (and hundreds of smaller companies) by buying ChanBond's patents.
I really see this as about the only way for COMM to maintain business relationships with the 13 and remain a "Going concern".
Also, taxpayers or consumers won't pick-up the tab; it will ALL be at the shareholder's expense if COMM goes BK.
And who knows, maybe something is disclosed in COMM's Aug 8th filing.
And maybe, just maybe, some of the MSOs are contributing.
We know Charter sold 2 notes recently, $1.25B & $750M.
And the $750M bond was international with no disclosure what used for.

TY 4 replying. If lose, no bargaining left.
If ChanBond wins the appeal, no bargaining left.
Think of it from the perspective of the board of directors and executives.
Wouldn't you want to keep your job and lifestyle?
The appeal decision isn't due until 02/02/2020.
By then, COMM's stock could be sub $10.
Then even more and more griping by investors. Investors are PO'd.
COMM overpaid for Arris by $3 or $4 billion dollars and got them in this mess.
At this point, it's about their survival--both as a company and as key executives.
The shareholders will end-up eating the expense.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, thank you all for those that hopefully will provide your input and your opinion.
And sorry (or fortunately ) cannot reply. This was my last of 15 posts today. I was on vacation.
Until tomorrow, Scruff
Yes probably, but have to ask 2 questions:
>>> Everyone, ALL LONGS & SH's, please provide feedback. <<<
>>> Love to hear your all's take too. What would U do? <<<
First, we already know COMM can't afford to lose at trial or they're out-of-business.
Bankrupt, kaput, gone, sayonara, adiós, CommScope no more.
Suffice to say, the executives and board of directors should know this by now.
Plus, and most importatntly, they all want to keep their high salaries, power, executive perks and status, especially in tiny Hickory, North Carolina (population: 40k+).
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/COMM/profile?p=COMM (and lÖÖk at that pay)
Looks like Marvin S. Edwards Jr. is due for retirement (Age 69 or 70).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hickory,_North_Carolina
https://www.google.com/maps/place/CommScope/@35.7117121,-82.4378034,8z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x885131bf51c07799:0x41dc4e7620a317f1!8m2!3d35.7151844!4d-81.3175065?hl=en
Hickory is about 60 miles away from Charlotte so one would think COMM has season tickets to both the Carolina Panthers (NFL) and Charlotte Hornets (NBA).
Also, probably fly the corporate jet to go watch Duke & NC college basketball.
So the 2 complex, yet simple questions are:
1) Is COMM going to allow this lawsuit to go all the way until completion?
>> If yes, risking everything b/c cannot afford indemnification
>> Plus, not providing their biggest clients with any customer service or protection
2) If not going all the way to verdict, what is the reason to wait to buy ChanBond's patents?
>> Just more fees, worry, headaches, expenses, stockholder's and institutional investor's complaining
>> Protects every DOCSIS 3.0+ modem they've sold and going forward
>> And then there are the 100's of smaller companies
>> And international sales
What would you do if wanted to keep your job, perks and status?
>> Buy sooner when can negotiate before Cisco decision reached
>> Buy later and possibly have to pay more
>> Go for broke and jury verdict
After all, it's the shareholder's that will end-up eating the expenses in the long run, but they'll still have their cushy executive jobs (most of them anyway).
Just something to consider,
Speculative Scruff
P.S. Have only 1 post left today.
Yes, U're probably right, but very odd coincidence.
Those 13 MSOs, Cisco, COMM have a lot of pull & weight to throw around.
It just so happens to freeze UOIP shares completely as COMM prepares August 8th numbers?
And then COMM loses $1 per share.
The SEC is made up of people and we know people talk.
The document to revoke had to be prepared on or b4 the 16th.

As walking dogs, this got me thinking.
We're REVOKED because disclosure or verbiage is in COMM's filing.
THE DEAL COULD BE DONE!
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/commscope-release-second-quarter-financial-123000660.html
What else could it be?
And some institutions got wind of this, thus, the heightened COMM sell-off.
JMO, but makes sense.
August 8th can't get here fast enough,
Now, I'm really "Super Stoked Scruffer"
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Okay, gonna take the dogs out before it gets too hot.

Yes, that's the reason, IMO, buyout talks R underway.
Else, it's NETGEAR, here we come.
> "Want to provide modems and services for 50M customers?"
Well, we're looking for a new supplier.................
I don't think COMM has a choice now.
If wait, this stock could be sub $10.
And fun, fun, fun to watch.
Yes, about $2 per share.
As we know, they're trapped too.
I think negotiations are underway.
Just too much market cap loss.
Some institutions know it (their spies ), but most don't.
Plus, can't just dump b/c I think you provided stat on "How long in days it would take to unwind their positions".
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/COMM?p=COMM
COMM shareholders will be the bagholders.
Or nearly empty.
They may have some capital left ONLY with a buyout or settlement.
If verdict or trial, it's over for them with loss.
They cannot even afford indemnification for Comcast, yet alone anyone else.
And, another 7. Amazing! Pay the front line. We've got a shoota here.

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/COMM?p=COMM
If COMM breaks $14 today, something's up.
And the word is out.
I'm not exactly sure what "The Word" is, but so much market cap loss.
Found latest post to reply. Well, that SUCKS!
It sure would be nice to receive a "Certified Mail" letter from the company.
Board of directors, Mishcon, temp person or someone representing UOIP, Inc.
Now that revoked, it's time for formal "Reach out" to shareholders.
Plus, whatever the fees were to keep UOIP listed, I think we could've funded it with another donation account.
Anyway, too little, too late for that however.
How about sending "You're being audited" letter professor?
That would be hilarious if you could somehow audit them.
Dear CommScope:
On behalf of your SEC filing requirements and disclosures, our records indicate "You're due for an audit!".
Silly Scruff
Yes Siree Bob and "Ahoy" to all.
Wonder what the day will bring?
Awaiting my "Certified Mail" UOIP shareholder letter.
Wonder how long I'll have to wait?
Took a vaca-day (use or lose) today so it's gonna be a full-throttle AC blaster.
Too early for another bottle of Shiraz?
Maybe a "Bloody Mary"?
And when do we go sailing? Vegas, a cruise, a chartered yacht or someone's newly purchased yacht or boat.
I'll do it all if (when) this comes through b/c can retire.
In your mind, I guess it's true.
I do NOT see it that way at all.
Okay, Scruffer out.
I have no resentments b/c if cannot recognize the value of a stock with a VC with 900M+ common shares, financing the lawsuit with our penny stock and grey market share purchase ride, then your perspective is much skewed from mine.
Goodnight and once again, I wish you well.
It's always good to have a contrarian.
It really makes one think and cover all base.
Thank you for that and your perspective because it has only strengthened my resolve and DD into a deep-dive of UOIP.
It's just unfortunate you will not be coming to our Vegas party.
Nevertheless, you are invited.
Lost Wages Bound.
Yo 11, Scruffer
Did it? I believe I still own 1/1.6B per my shares.
It's just in a private company.
Gotta admit, CommScope has really taken a dive.
What could be driving this?
I thought, according to CommScope executive management, synergies were suppose to align, making the company more valuable.
Oh, that's right, AJ, our doctorate in accounting, states "Contingent Liability".
Once again, we will see.
I'm man enough to admit defeat, but 85%+ chance of taking it to the bank.
And your purpose here again was... I forgot.
Nevertheless, I hope you make a fortune like us UOIP LONGS,
ScrufferinskiOwitzBerg

I'm confused how you speculate ChanBond, LLC is going to bypass UOIP, Inc. to go directly to UOIP, LLC, when Carter's shares are in UOIP, Inc.
It's in the Supreme Court RPX filing.
What more do you need to know.
I wish you well, Scruff
I suppose I don't. Please elaborate.
October 27, 2020 is the deadline.
I'm confused then.

If anything, this may expedite the process of settlement or buyout.
CommScope acquisition of Arris was supposed to:
- Transaction More Than Doubles Expected Product Addressable Market to Greater Than $60 Billion
- Expected to Generate Approximately $1 Billion in Cash Flow from Operations1 and Be More Than 30 Percent Accretive to Adjusted EPS in First Full Year after Closing
- Expect More than $150 Million in Annual Cost Synergies Within Three Years
- The Carlyle Group Reestablishes Ownership Position in CommScope with $1 Billion Minority Investment
Since the close of the deal, COMM has gone from ~$26 to ~$14.50.
With 194M COMM shares out, that's a market cap loss of 2.23B.
https://www.commscope.com/NewsCenter/PressReleases/CommScope-to-Acquire-ARRIS/
WTF happened? Now that COMM digs deeper into Arris's contracts, B/S, I/S, etc., AJ states it best, "Contingent Liability".
Ut-Oh... Savvy institutional investors have already started to realize this.
Something's severely amiss.
Maybe negotiations are underway.
It's buy ChanBond's patents soon or treble damages at trial and/or lump-sum payment with continual royalties of the 13 MSOs and 100's of smaller infringing companies.

We'll (probably) know here first.
TDA and Schwab haven't sent an Email alert to me (yet).
They may tonight after their systems roll (nightly batch processing).
Your broker will most definitely contact you if (when) win and account balance over $500,000.
ds634843: "Hello. My name is Mr. Edward Trade. I'm the manager of your local E*Trade office and would like to meet with you to review your account. Are you free to come to our office or meet for lunch? I think there are services we can provide that may interest you".
Yes, as we're all normal, fka "Normal, Illinois".
Our directory path has changed.

Good one.
TY Gooferball. Good to have you back.
It's ridiculous what some of our LONGS are posting.
We all knew it was coming to this--WIN or LOSE.
Well, now that it's here, and we're locked-in, for some reason many are freaking.
The fear of the unknown really seems to psychologically disturb many.
If it's meant to be, then it's in God's (any or one's own God's) hands, fate, the universe, your higher power, chicken wings , ganja, alcohol, glowworms, whatever.
UOIP has 100M+ shares with accredited investors.
ChanBond wins, UOIP wins.
And please don't call, snail mail or email Billy.
He's not here to hold our hands.
He's dealing with a multi-billion dollar lawsuit, financing it with over $2M+ of his own money (so far) and you've gotten the opportunity to be a part of this lawsuit.
Be thankful found and own shares or a portion of the private company.
Just let it play out.
Moreover, now that revoked, Carter (or counsel) may make formal snail mail contact with each shareholder.
The only thing you're going to do is piss-off Billy. We are nobodys. Chill-out and keep perspective.
LONG & STRONG REVOKED UOIP, Scruffer
P.S. "The fear of death is worse than death itself."
Yes, COMM hit 52-week low of $14.77.
Wondering if we'll receive a letter, email?
... That is, a letter in the near future.
Now that revoked, it would be nice to get something.
Dear Shareholder of UnifiedOnline, Inc.:
Congratulations...
Terrific. TY Renee. Now, we're ALL "All In".
Everyone's hoping (and praying) for FUN, FUN, FUN!
Portfolio balance still the same on UOIP.
Does this go to $0?
If COMM trades 10M+, something's gotta be up.
Around 800,000 now.
Average Volume = 3.1M shares.
If capitulation begins, the word is out.
