Yes, in general, the consumer always & only pays. Well, at least the income earners, workers or those that contribute to the production of goods or services. But in this case, it will ONLY be COMM shareholders that pay. In a free market capitalistic society, the CONSUMER decides WHERE & HOW to spend his or her money. BTW... Capitalism is 100%, without a doubt, absolutely, the worst form of an economic system, besides all the rest. One has to realize, there is extreme pricing pressure in most businesses, including this one. The 13 MSOs (and others) can always CHOOSE to go with another supplier or competitor. Also, in general, money ALWAYS FLOW into the MOST VALUE (or greatest return) for the LEAST COST (or risk-reward). Retail sales collapsing while internet sales increasing, in one of many examples, that PROVES this FACT. What did it cost you when the largest retail rental movie companies went under? Nothing (unless shareholder). It's one of the basic principles of money and capitalistic competition. Anyway, something to think about; otherwise, please prove me wrong. Locked & loaded UOIP, aka, #BC900M+_Long. :-) Scruffer P.S. And the COMM executives are scared like hellĂ–.
