i am not proficient at charting, but it is very easy to discern the narrowing of the Bollinger Bands.
maverick as you know the 'tutes' 13-Fs are due by Aug 14 for the 2nd qtr. transactions. i will be interested to see the new changes. NWBO also has to file 10-Q by the same date. what is your opinion of the possibility that LP updates on the 'Direct' trial in the discussion section of the 10-Q?
Yes my intuition as well
"So I think they were playing INTO the Feurstein B.S. in order to flush out retail"
I cannot answer your question about the turn around very well but it seems the CEO Linda Powers came in with funds to save/take over the company at that time. she was/had mentored/a mentor who convinced her the dendritic cell based immunotherapy was viable and potentially disruptive.
someone who has followed this company longer than I (initial investment in May seeking another disruptive biotech) will probably answer you questions.
Thanks Xena it is always nice to have a chartist sharing trading likelihoods. if we are made aware that the institution who had warrants @7.50 (17mil to the company) exercised those during the spike in June then we (share holders) have less worries about further dilution in the near future. BTW that fist you described was due to the AF post.
Xena, oops wrong Steven Giardino article this is the more informative one http://seekingalpha.com/article/2279463-the-war-of-words-balancing-perspectives-on-northwest-bios-dcvax-direct
'bout dang time. thanks RES
Xena for an in depth examination of NWBO please read this:
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2279463-the-war-of-words-balancing-perspectives-on-northwest-bios-dcvax-direct
also read Smithonstocks articles at seekingalpha.com . that should catch you up on NWBO. be sure to read the comments as well.
Ummm before we get too caught up in the "Linsanity". this is a student's training abstract. Summer class assignment?
sentiment, some the possible answers to your questions can be found here http://seekingalpha.com/author/steven-giardino/comments
he (pyrr/steve) believes the steering committee has been given the authority to speak for the company (NWBO)when certain circumstances occur to avoid Type 1 errors. I find his argument logical and plausible.
ps, thank you Steve for you sharing your DD with us.
DOK, your problem may be the same as mine. mine is a plug-in called shockwave (i think it is a pop-up ad). if i leave an Ihub window open for more than say 15 minutes my computer locks up. i have gotten used to closing Ihub when i get busy or am about to leave my desk for an extended time. Yahoo can cause the same problem on occasion.
no, I don't know that I should state or "pump" another stock on this forum.
true highwayman. that is the point I am trying to get across to TOB without being confrontational or disrespectful.
swamprabbit, the magic bullet may be synthetic DNA plasmids. the leader in this immumotherapy/vaccine field is my largest holding in the pharma/biotech segment with NWBO being my second largest holding. but my largest holding is three to four years away from having a viable product where as NWBO is probably much closer. just saying there is likely to be a breakthrough in defeating cancer much sooner than most would believe possible.
I respectably disagree highwayman. TOB is trying to making a point but is not necessarily insinuating an agenda. I am just trying to express to him that his sticky is not worthy of a moderator in the true definition of a moderator.
Fair enough TOB. wouldn't you agree that the post I am replying to is more appropriate as a sticky than the post you have currently? it expresses your views and is less offensive to those invested in NWBO.
TOB, maybe. I am thinking (affordian-like) that Cramer may be a little worried that the Deep Capture FOI lawsuit against the SEC may be gaining a little traction. Cramer squashed the Deep Capture website for a few years with the Canadian ruling but the facts against naked shorting without any intention of delivery are going to be exposed eventually. failure to deliver shorting against NWBO are mounting.
edit: adding an s to failure would be more grammatically correct even though the plural is implied.
yes highwayman but with slightly better playing conditions on the field and with some updated rules and penalties but the flags are rarely thrown or whistles blown.
i cannot PM.
Highwayman. i would recommend when you have at least a half an hour that you read the article about Dendreon and Milken that i linked. then think about the Bristol/Celldex, Cramer and Milken connections.
More food for thought..
Evaluate thank you for the link to the u-tube video sponsored by the Milken Institute.. yes for you old-timers the institute founded by Michael Milken. many of you have heard of Mr. Milken and if you haven't I recommend you do some DD on his history.
I recommend this article: http://www.deepcapture.com/michael-milken-60000-deaths-and-the-story-of-dendreon-chapter-2-of-15/
Now who was on the panel in that video?
For those who like to connect dots, those dots could connect to some interesting suppositions regarding the perceived manipulation of NWBO.
Just saying something about history repeating.. But Mr. Milken is reformed and a philanthropist now so maybe not?
TOB I understand too that you try to be objective in your moderation of this board. I agree too that many of the posts that you deleted were necessary due to violation of the TOS for posting.
I find most of your posts are informative and show your experience in the market... that said I have to question your objectivity in having the sticky attributed to your name that is an opinion piece by (I am sure you would agree)an acknowledged non-objective blogger.
Most of that sticky is IMHO heresay and could be taken out of context and therefor should be taken with a grain of salt and not to be considered objective.
I would like to know more about your market experiences and qualifications (I have only been reading this board a couple of months) but regardless I feel it (the sticky) colors your objectivity negatively.
Thank you Pyrr. i started doing my research on NWBO after i read that SOS article where you and a couple of others had one great discussion about NWBO. i then came here and have been very appreciative of all the research you have done and for sharing it with us.
Good luck to you.
thank you ShinSekai. outstanding post.
Mathew Herper at Forbes and Gina Kolata at The New York Times who have both done write ups on immunotherapies in the past would be good to contact for someone with better writing skills than my self.
i called Mr Stillman and he answered on first ring. i tried to explain how AF was blogging false information. he was receptive to my explainations but i am afraid i got a little worked up and of course my thought process and speech got discombobulated. he genuinely seemed to want to know point by point where AF was wrong. he said he had gotten lots of emails this morning but not so much of a point by point rebuttal to AF's falsities. maybe someone else could write or call with such a rebuttal.
I have been monitoring this board for a couple of weeks so I have read many of your posts, afford. the premise I inferred may not have been an accurate description of your argument but I wanted to say I learned a lot from the discussion you were arguing against. I appreciate your business side input and persistent questions that have been answered to my satisfaction.
afford, I disagree with your premise that these debates are pointless. I have learned a great deal from these debates and examinations of minutia.
this is my first post on ihub and I am a very new investor in NWBO so all the info I can assimilate is invaluable.
great board guys and gals. I enjoy the repartee.
