I would like to clarify my thought.. I don't think Amarin is being set up for a short opportunity, I think the overall market is definitely being set up for a short opportunity.
kiwi asked the question
kiwi question:
true that..no doubt
:) I was hoping for a more productive conversation. but that was funny.
can anyone talk about the stock price.... and more importantly....
IS THE MARKET MORE LIKELY TO GO UP OR DOWN FROM HERE?
on ignore. for unamericanism
yep, good article. FiercePharma is widely read and distributed in the pharma sphere and especially in the pharma street walker sphere.
yep, good points... by you as well.
I am disappointed JT did not have DTC ads teed up.
TY bfost.
Bingo. Thanks HDG

thanks Cal
Awesome vid, I expect more of the same coverage.
haha.. tho you didn't include the best Clint qualifying word "punk". :)
Do we think the Consortium trials are going to be basket trials?
IMO the answer is to bolster the SIGMACEPTORtm platform cheaply and quickly.
this is a P3 trial expected completion Sept. 2021.
not that one.
the most likely trial is a CBD solution that uses 15 mg twice daily.

Thanks mav;
Very interesting study. Many years to go in continuing studies. IMO
so in capsulation;
The Lando pathway can decrease the B-amyloid deposits (IMO in mice that were induced with larger than normal deposits).
So the question is.. If there are much fewer B-amyloid deposits due to another treatment how much more efficient (and less necessary in neurogenetive disorders )can the LANDO pathway operate for cancer and other disorders?

is a Director considered an employee?
Outstanding post. It needs to be read and read again..
IMO your scenario is more probable than not. Check out the six moth chart of AMRN. they(BB) could have bought a ton in early Jan and sold in late March for a nice profit.
Good post Kev; IMO very astute thought
Hi Xena;
Glad to see you are interested in Amarin and hopefully you invested in a little stake earlier this week. This is right up your alley.. extremely small risk of adverse side effects with many pleiotropic side effects.
Thank you duke. I agree.
Welcome to the board JL.
For those here unfamiliar with the AMRN board JL is one of the KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) on that board. He is extremely knowledgeable of biology and the body's inflammation systems' causes, reactions and consequences.
Xena visited the other board and asked;
Thanks Kmadd.
I think a definition may be helpful:
Allosteric regulation - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allosteric_regulation
In biochemistry, allosteric regulation (or allosteric control) is the regulation of an enzyme by binding an effector molecule at a site other than the enzyme's active site.. The site to which the effector binds is termed the allosteric site or regulatory site.Allosteric sites allow effectors to bind to the protein, often resulting in a conformational change involving protein dynamics.
HA! indeed. first laugh I've had in two days. :(
Thank you Citrati. I was expecting a drop as well to the low $20s to high $19s but didn't expect it to happen this soon. Good call. In the meantime I kept looking and think I found a better value in the oil patch..CRZO
Thanks again.
Hi Citrati, can you give me a TA opinion on PE? it looks to me like a breakout from a basing pattern but I am not sure. they are in the hot Permian Basin.
TIA
Hey Fly, can you take a look at PE and give me your TA and response on that board?
\TIA
Can A2-73 be an effective therapy for macular degeneration?

A more recent study by a division of NIH on the roles of Sig-1Rs;
Very nicely done Xena, Thanks
optimistically yes if results are very good. It will still take a few months to get the application written with all the data analyzed and collated and then the FDA will have to examine thoroughly.
they need to file a NDA but it can take 4 months just to get the paperwork ready for the submittal and then up to 9 months for approval thru regular application and 6 months for fast track. Of course the FDA is not required to take that long.
A BLA is for a biological product. A2-73 is a chemical entity.
What is a biological product?
Biological products include a wide range of products such as vaccines, blood and blood components, allergenics, somatic cells, gene therapy, tissues, and recombinant therapeutic proteins. Biologics can be composed of sugars, proteins, or nucleic acids or complex combinations of these substances, or may be living entities such as cells and tissues. Biologics are isolated from a variety of natural sources - human, animal, or microorganism - and may be produced by biotechnology methods and other cutting-edge technologies. Gene-based and cellular biologics, for example, often are at the forefront of biomedical research, and may be used to treat a variety of medical conditions for which no other treatments are available.
How do biological products differ from conventional drugs?
In contrast to most drugs that are chemically synthesized and their structure is known, most biologics are complex mixtures that are not easily identified or characterized. Biological products, including those manufactured by biotechnology, tend to be heat sensitive and susceptible to microbial contamination. Therefore, it is necessary to use aseptic principles from initial manufacturing steps, which is also in contrast to most conventional drugs.
Biological products often represent the cutting-edge of biomedical research and, in time, may offer the most effective means to treat a variety of medical illnesses and conditions that presently have no other treatments available.
Visine works for me. :0
You are welcome. here is another Frontline investigation of supplements that will be helpful in convincing them.
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/supplements-and-safety/
Dr Preston Mason talks about fish oils 2/3 way thru the vid.
Dr Mason has a youtube vid on fish oil supplements that is more in depth but i don't have the link on this computer.
