So for WAMUQ shares, would one receive 1 share of JPM stock for every 5 shares of WAMUQ?
If it were to be a stock swap, how would it work? What would the value of WAMUQ shars be?
IMO, I would think that if the judge used the words "as soon as possible", then she would most likely be make a decision soon.
Okay, let me get this straight. If the FDIC does not have jurisdiction, then why would JPM bring them and why would they say they will just take the $4b back if WMI gets it? What purpose does it serve allowing the FDIC to get involved?
Just a comment on the hearing details. Not shootin ya down or anything. Could you add that the time zone is Eastern so no one misses any of it.
How does it work w/ an offer of $4 or $8 a share? How does that calcuate from the shares? Would that be that the amount times the amount of outstanding shares? If so, what shares? WAMUQ shares?
thanks
Does anyone know what time the hearing is at on Thursday?
I would think that if the deadline for BK has been extended then there is a particular reason for it. That which they believe they will get the settlement. No extension would be set if they felt they weren't going to get it.
I posted this link to inform anybody that does not know what is going on with MNTY a.k.a. ECFL. A SEC lawsuit exists against the officers. Check the link below for the details of it.
http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2008/lr20742.htm
Anybody know what's the chances of getting back any money invested in ECFL/MNTY after the investigation? I know the SEC is requesting for full disgorgement from the defendants.
If they don't get a settlement from JP, then they should sue the FDIC for the what is owed them. Since they decided to illegally sell for just a fraction of what they were actually worth.
I hope so, I really do and not just for my financial benefit.
I don't say this to be negative about our outcome of a settlement because I want it to happen, but what's to say that JP won't find some way out of having to pay it. They've already obtained Wamu in a corrupt way. What's to say they won't find a way to get out of having to pay settlement? By acting corruptively again?
I'm just looking for some clarification on this. If the settlement does happen, how could that possibly affect current shareholders of WAMUQ? How would it affect the pps? What would WMI get from JP? I have shares from over a year ago.
What time is the hearing today?
What time and is it the same number and access code?
It it was possible, the judge should just rule of a settlement to WMI just based upon the fact of how freaking cheap JP got WM retail banking ops for.
I'm guessing that the fact of good news about the judge's decision is what is increasing the pps. Some have expected it to drop if no settlement was made. Anybody think so?
Is the call at 10:20 am eastern time?
If a decision where to be made, anybody know where I could found out of it?
Own the justice system, they're about to own a swift kick in the face.
Time to do what, fight something longer that can't be defended, no matter what?
What would JPM get out of delaying an inevitable ruling? What do they gain?
JP Morgan is no hero and never will be.
Rescue means that they went above and beyond to do so. Putting much as risk (money) to help another entity. Not picking WAMU up for a dirt cheap price because they were threatened by their ability to compete against them.
I hope they present the truth too. If a settlement happens, I believe it will very discreet. I want to the public to know that the allegations of their treachery and greed are true.
What's the status in the court proceedings?
Has a decision for settlement occured?
Does anybody know what's the status of the the lawsuit. Does WMI still have a fighting chance or will greed just f things up again?
How many have sent the letter about the Wamu Equity Committee? I just did.
There is a number on the bottom of this original complaint, I'm gonna call and speak to rep from the SEC.
I have contacted the Securities Department through the Secretary of State and filed a complaint about Market 99 (Ecarfly). In this complaint I have included info about the lawsuit by the SEC about and what they have done to many investors. Hopefully, they will get back to me soon.
I don't know for sure either, but I'm not just gonna sit back and risk losing what I invested. F*&* that.
I don't care what direction this company goes, I just want back what I invested. I don't want anything to do with it anymore after that.
So you have 100% proof that is this company was never a scam. Ok, if you really think so then get Brola to open his mouth and prove it.
Gotcha.
Once I found out if there is anway to fight this and hopefully get back any loss. I will post it here.
I'd rather seek legal counsel for myself to recoup any losses. Not gonna let them get away with anything they are found guilty of.
Has anybody decided to take legal action against ECFL/MNTY?
