This PR is NOT what I wanted to read, because its only blabla around their product - I want to read a publication or a buyout or a partnership. Merck is buying Seagen - that quite sure - our hottest candidate is thus off the list of potential buyers. what have you all been fantasising about the big merck buyout. The deal is pretty much off the table and nwbo needs money. this morning's pr is about as important as screwing the toothpaste tube back on. it's nice, but completely irrelevant when you have a dentist appointment.

@KIPK - you are posting the golden future of nwbo for more of 2 years now. .... 25-50 billion marketcap ..... but the present day says 67cents - everyone was patient for years - and this is the result so far? 67cent? .... there would be nothing to say if the quote is at 5 dollar - we all would see the path. it sounds unintentionally funny when i hear these slogans of perseverance
if i could wish for a future scenario, it would be that we are immediately bought out by merck. at a price between 34 and 40 dollars. if we are to be paid in merck shares, then i would wish for something over 40 usd per nwbo share. but as i am a realist and have been far too patient for far too long, it will probably end up that no one buys us, another 800 million shares have to be approved and the whole thing drags on for another 3 to 4 years until the company finally earns money.
kusterer .... you are missing that all this information is not communicated by the company ... only put together by bloggers and boarders. there is a lack of trust. when the company publishes news, everything possible is interpreted from the outside. this is because the news allows this, but also because possible successes are not reflected in the share price.
Has NWBO found a journal which is ready for reviewing the outcomes of the trial now?
i find it remarkable how quickly the topic changes here. before, 80% of the postings were about the journal publication. now it seems as if the publication is not so easy to get and is not published every moment - and now another topic is suddenly conjured out of the hat. we in germany say ... a new pig is driven through the village
a confidence-building measure could be - if the management does not want to drop its pants and say what's what - to buy shares now - everyone. LP, LG, MB
Okay - I wrote a short one to Dave Innes - this is what I got
My question:
Is NWBO currently under a press release embargo because of a journal article that is in the review or publication phase?
His answer:
We are constrained on what we can say publicly as a company about trial results because we are actively engaged in seeking a journal publication.
Dave
How do you read this tweet? Twitter user who said he has talked with Dave Innes 40 minutes today. Is NWBO going for a Journal Publication or not? Where is the problem to ask a simple question and to get a simple answer.

@Hspooner ... there is no money left over. and certainly none for the planned capacity expansion, the time until approval, the planned expansion to other types of cancer. if you want to do all this with a dilution at a share price of usd 0.65, then have fun. then we are not talking about 1.5 billion shares but about 3 billion shares. that's why i can well imagine that LP and LG were caught on the wrong foot on may 10. I think they absolutely did not expect the share price disaster and, on the contrary, assumed that the share price would be around 3 or 4 dollars after the announcement. At this level, the way to the Nasdaq might have been open and a capital increase would have taken place at much better prices.
How should this help NWBO
@Danish ... I fully understand your arguments. But for realizing a capacity enhancement it needs money. And NWBO has no money left. So whats next? Dilution at a 0,65-level. Not 4 or 8 dollars, its fu***** 0,65 usd.
@phyinvestor .... i fully agree. As long as you don't communicate clearly with your investors, the investors will paint their own rosy story. (Fast buyout at extremely high prices, fast approval, etc.). We all want to believe (even I would like to believe this sometimes) that LP has the brilliant master plan in its back pocket, which it has been preparing for years and which is now being implemented very quickly. LG has fuelled this himself with his statements in interviews. But in reality, everything is happening much more slowly. And investors are now being disappointed by their own convoluted stories. At the end of the day, the share price is 0.65 dollars and the disappointment outweighs what should be good news. For the fudsters, it's a feast for the eyes. And this lack of transparency that you mentioned will also lead to a massive financing problem for the next steps, which will result in even more dilution and even more disappointment.
Reefrad - Thanks for sharing. But it makes me feel not so happy to hear that they dont have an idea when the journal publish this article. They cant say anything before. What will Bosch tell us at ASCO when he is still embargoed from the Journal? This will have the same effect as the 05.10.-stockquote-desaster. My fear is: they have really no other plan and nothing in background (Approval / BO) and wait whats happening next to react (maybe).
Hello Master, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you here. The share price disaster after the presentation does have an impact on the long-term success of the company. If the share price had exploded even higher, financing for the coming period would be much easier. Fewer new shares at higher prices. Relisting on Nasdaq would also have been much more realistic than it is now. But does NWBO have other aces up its sleeve? Is there a deal with the FDA? Is there a buyout agreement? If so, then none of this matters any more.
That is what we all hope for - But what I still don't understand is why NWBO didn't have the endpoints changed at ct.gov long ago. Why hasn't that been done? After all, you pay attention to a perfect environment when you're a company with only one shot at a first presentation. I've asked it before: Was this a glitch? Was that incompetence? Or does it no longer matter at all because other agreements (with whomsoever) have long since been made in the background? I hope Linda P has a plan.
what is still not clear to me
why didn't nwbo update the primary endpoints on the ct.org website. when you know how important the presentation of the results is, you prepare everything in the environment so that there is not a single point that is vulnerable. i wonder, was it an oversight? was it incompetence? or is this no longer important at all, because there have long since been arrangements with the fda or with a potential buyer or partner.
Boah - i still cant believe this happened - do we get a reaction from nwbo today? If not I guess we go back to 0.50.
I#m so frustrated of market reaction. lost about 600k dollars yesterday on paper. Did not sell a share
i have waited so long for this day ... and now i feel sick at the moment because i am unsure whether it is a good sign that LL is explaining the results or a bad sign because there is a lot to explain. Most of you are from the US - is this conference a big deal in the industry or is it one of many? Shit - I really feel sick now.
maybe this is the issue of releaising tld - this is copied from yahooboard - origin is from investorvillage - was this discussed earlier here?
hodag:
The Checkmate-548 (BMY's) overall survival results were presented at SNO. Placebo overall survival from randomization was 32.1 months. Those placebo patients off steroids saw 33 months. Compare this to DCVax-L at 34.7 months from surgery for MGMT+ patients. Note that for the Checkmate trial patients needed to have recovered from surgery before being randomized. But, there was, of course, no exclusion of (rapid early) progressors after primary chemoradiotherapy (along with many other things for the vaccine). Also, in the Checkmate trial there was a requirement for only 20% or greater surgical resection. Again, very different from DCVax. The results are again entirely consistent with the vaccine doing absolutely nothing.
Now that these results are published I would love to see NWBO explain how 34.7 months for DCVax (in MGMT+) is statistically different from 32-33 months for the placebo group in the Checkmate trial. I can tell you that with the sample size available to work with in NWBO's trial that will be a mathematical impossibility (Checkmate had just shy of 700 enrollees). The numbers are not your friend in this case.
Another thing, to gain an approval in the real world the performance of any new treatment must be compared to the performance of an acceptable comparator. So, in this case, the "top 100" is not a comparison to anything randomized and controlled, it is just a rank-ordered list that includes all patients in the trial and thus does not provide a basis for an approval decision. Believe what you want, but "hey, it looks good to me" has never be the basis of a new approval!
.....
wow - thats typical. Other companys get things done. We have issues and delays because of corona, because of blablabla
Except it is delayed (its nwbo, baby) by some issues the company has to resolve first
I have a question regarding the financing - its a real question and no FUD
Following AF the lender seems to be more or less a loan shark to finance companys short on money. Im from Germany and Im not familiar with loan business in the USA. Why NWBO borrows money from the shark? Why does LP not went to Goldman, Morgan, HSBC etc to get a loan from them. Or why she does not ask in London for this loan? The process in UK seems to be most advanced? Thanks for your answers
following your argumentation, there is less money left, which means less time to publish tld, bonzo
Cofer Black works very hard every single year to protect this company from the bad guys.
But how often you were wrong?
this is so frustrating at the moment .... rest of the market is from ath to ath ....
looking at cvm this will happen to nwbo if the result is not superduper
680 shares traded .... well that means a lot
Have you guys considered, that NWBO may want to push building a second mainstay in Sawston for other applications first, before they maybe have to say "sorry the trial failed, but here we can go ahead with something different"? - dont want to be the advocatus diaboli, but i think it is worth to spend a thought.
Price drop today .... make your bets ... 1,10 usd
gme could cause a self induced short squeeze of cowed short sellers on a lot of stocks
Dont want to be the devils advocate, but have we considered in the poster discussion, that maybe the results are not so good, that they want to do a poster presentation?
Have a question regarding Direct - Whats the reason why Direct is not pushed forward anymore. Only full financial focus to get DCVAX-L to the finish-line?
Question is: Are these the warrants or do we have a leak of negative news
Is a 10 minute presentation not too short for this complex trial?
Lets hope the content of the presentation is NOT "We failed - thats all we can say"
Are these sh+++-storm posters known to you?
https://twitter.com/MedResCol
they have fired the last couple of hours so many negative tweeds against nwbo
Abeta: The Stuttgart Stock Exchange is not very relevant.
Bis/ask-Spread is always between 12 and 16%. But its the only way for the most Germans with a broker-account to buy and sell NWBO after it was delisted from Nasdaq.
