rolvram: never sold a share
As usual - it's the Guidance that counts
we expected a little sell off -
It's the Guidance that counts
haras: buy or sell orders?????
It's a good sign that it closed much higher - was expecting profit taking. Glad my prediction was wrong. Should open around $112.00 per share.
hopefully it won't sell off after the split on Monday. Wouldn't be surprised to see big profit taking before close today. That's the usual pattern on split stocks. I'm holding
buyittradeit: Unfortunately there was no discount in the price.
buyittradeit: I;m one of the 300 million. bought a hand vacuum
buyittradeit: I agree
Invest-in-America: I sold a while ago. Have no intentions of getting back in. Good luck. Be careful.
rolvram: good for u. I/m holding
Discover Gold: Cathie Wood has become meaningless
la-tsla-fan: the only ones listening to Hollywood are WOKES.- I don't like Musk(or any CEO) going political, even tho I'm Conservative
la-tsla-fan: Re Elon and Hollywood, you're talking apples and oranges. Elon has to answer (or should) to us stock holders. Hollywood just answers to themselves or other smucks,
la-tsla-fan: IMO the market hates uncertainty and that's where Musk stands now. Once the dust settles, TSLA should gain value.
On another issue: What I'm against is CEO's getting political. I'm not referring to the Twitter deal but Corporations should keep out of politics (no matter what Party they favor) and concentrate on issues that affect their company and stock holders. Elon is getting too political IMO
I'd love to see Elon just pay the billion and move on. it might even cost him more if he drags it on. He'll easily make up for it and we TSLA holders will be much happier IMO
chklingon: My money is on Musk. even if he has to pay $1billion, he'll easily make it up with TSLA's big move up.
I was hoping, as most stock holders IMO, that the deal will fall apart.
MarkItSold. Congrats - better than losing $37. haha
another correction: not out timing - Excuse these typo errors. I'm typing too fast
buyittreit: Correction: Your timing (not out timing)
invest-in America: PS: Hopefully, for your sake, it was just due to some profit taking, and a deal might still be in the works.
buyittrdeit. Too bad our timing was a little off, but I wouldn't worry about it. It was just profit taking due to the huge moves - there'll be a lot more buying before the split. JMO
Invest-in America: thanks. hope you're not left holding the bag
I chickened out at a small loss. Don't have the stomach for it. Good luck to all with guts
buyittradeit: good luck stay with it
buyit: I'm just hoping it will still keep going right up, thx for the link - since it's very long, i'll read it tomorrow.
buyittradeit: I'm also planning to stay long re AMZN - however I feel GOOG is a stronger investment. My judgement is based on it's recent strong trading performance before the split. The pattern seems to be stocks sell off right after the split and then starts moving back up APPLE is a good example,
If this pattern holds true, you could always buy GOOG a few days after the split. I preferred buying it now.
20stockman: it won't matter - he'll be promoting them anyway
buyittradeit: I picked up some shares a week ago. it's outperforming most of the techs, especially AMZN
29stockman20 - I feel he'll be pushing all the other American EVs - ie Ford
20stockmanL Biden will do nothing to help TSLA - to the contrary IMO
themasters: great news if he pulls it off. and at what price. glad I got back in.
nothing seems to stop GOOG - it'll be very interesting to see the price when it splits. It's doing a lot better than AMZN and TSLA!
20stockman20: Blden hates Musk - would never prop him up. IMO
I got out yesterday at $6.56 (and kicked myself) even tho I made a profit. Was tempted to get back in this morning - fortunately i didn't. If it drops to $4, I'll rethink it.
what is everyone doing?
GOOG out performing AMZN, even TSLA (so far)
GOOG well out performing AMZN, even TSLA
Guess I got out too soon. Good luck to all who stayed in.
