It does matter, as there’s more upside treating Rett Syndrome earlier in the disease’s development. The fact that AVXL’s Blarcamesine is showing a measurable effect with older patients and at a low dose, bodes well for those identified and treated earlier in the disease progression.
That’s my drop dead date for an Avatar readout as well, as I believe (naively or not) ChrisMiss does have the company’s and shareholder’s best interests in mind at all times. He is after all, included in those two groups that are beneficiaries.
Correct XenaLives We do not pay any attention to the nonsensical cephalopod. I don’t bother to read anything he posts as I know it’s a waste of my time.
Great question!
That was my understanding as well McMagyar. What I don’t understand is why we are beating the corpse of this long dead horse?
I couldn’t disagree more as Anavex’s approach to Alzheimer’s has been deliberate and methodical with placebo controls in place and frustrating to some, lack of hyperbole.
Indeed.
All they are bolstering is the propensity for a class action lawsuit once the Aduhelm deaths start to mount up.
I hope you do EBZ.
The Market is self serving and often gets it wrong is the more correct statement.
So very well stated! More snake oil in the Alzheimer’s space…exactly what no one needs.
Agreed! I have a background in graphic design with Adobe’s Photoshop-Illustrator and spent some time looking at these highlighted suspect images and noticed either the “saturation” or “contrast” in certain areas was reduced to make the supposedly different examples appear varied as well as cropping a different portion of an identical image to create the illusion of a more varied set.
Except when that “overly derivative data” shows consistency in dose/effect across separate trials of different CNS indications. Then your point is muted.
It makes one wonder if A3-71 would perform better against that demographic?
Former President Trump and the loser in the 2020 election against the formidable Joe Biden/Kamala Harris ticket, doesn’t understand the limitations of the First Amendment and doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on. He can sue all he wants but he still lost the 2020 election fair and square. He’s simply a sore loser. America rejected Trump, a man who wanted to be President for Life, a dictatorship in truth, so he could escape his debt obligations and prosecution for a multitude of lawsuits. It’s really that simple and has zero to do with advancing the cause of personal freedoms for all Americans.
Thanks for this concise and to the point comparison!
I couldn’t agree more boi568!
How are you able to see that?
Has this been posted yet?
From the European Patent Office: ANAVEX2-73 FOR THE TREATMENT OF GENETIC NEURODEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS:
The first group, known as the Aneuploidy group, comprises disorders caused by an abnormal number of chromosomes. The primary example in this group is Down’s syndrome.
The second group consists of disorders chromosomal micro-deletions, such as the deletion of a chromosomal region. Examples in this group are William’s Beuren syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Smith-Magenis syndrome, and velo-cardio-facial syndrome.
The third group consists of disorders having a single gene defect. Examples in this group are ATR-X syndrome, Barth syndrome, Fragile X- syndrome, ICF syndrome, Neurofibromatosis, Rett syndrome, and Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome.
The last group is believed to be caused by a combination of genetic, environmental, and epigenetic factors. Examples in this group are addictive disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, Asperger’s syndrome, autistic disorders, depression, dyslexia, eating disorders, epilepsy, infantile spasms, fetal alcohol syndrome, hydrocephalus, manic depressive illness, mental retardation, schizophrenia, spina bifida, and Tourette’s syndrome.
Astute observation and assessment basparks79!
After much retrospection, I think this misguided decision by the FDA to allow Biogen to peddle “Aduscamab” to the unwitting public will massively backfire for them, and allow competing companies with better treatments to blaze a trail forward in this space. I understand Missling’s conciliatory comments about Biogen’s drug in a whole new light now.
Thanks Bourbon…would love to know what other medical professionals are thinking about this latest revelation.
I couldn’t agree more.
Bravo! You nailed it basparks79!
I couldn’t agree more with your assessment of the FDA’s decision on Aduscamab.
Exactly.
I agree. Biogen’s Aduscamab approval won’t help our cause unless AVXL’s CEO, Missling has some other idea or strategy in mind where he sees it greasing the proverbial skids for A2-73?
I voted Yes for all!
Great post JWC3 and spot on.
I voted Yes to all items and do trust CEO Christopher Missling with having the best interests of AVXL shareholders in mind.
This is a general usage request to all employing acronyms in your iHub posts to please spell out the initial instance of that phrase for which you are substituting the shorthand acronym for. For example, what is “DBS” as it relates to Michael J Fox’s current Parkinson’s condition?
The PPS is a poor predictor of future returns. I beg to differ and find your logic deeply flawed.
Same here...voting yes! I trust Missling to do what’s best for shareholders. He has always stated that he would put shareholders interests first and has never betrayed our trust...in my opinion.
Bravo!

Well done Georgejjl! Just more FUD for thought.
Count me in as a Pre-Split investor! And also a Boston sports guy from New Hampshire.
Agreed! Someone needs to get a grip and relax. Zero concern from me.
