I remember reading on Stockhouse than the ASX was even worse worse than the TSE-V
Hi Erin, Many thanks for your reply and Rushman, thank you also. You are both fantastic posters!
So if Aurora got to $10 on 600 million o/s, does that mean MGC will get to $5 on 1.2 billion o/s?
Shouldn't we be concerned about the 1.2 billion shares outstanding?
So Sabby buys and Emory sells
Thanks. MYMX and GOVX are in a race to .25. Haven't the slightest idea who will win. But for the winner that will signal take off! Before .25 it's still just noise
Maybe now you guys are more receptive to MYMX and GOVX merging?
Meanwhile GOVX has news and is up on heavy volume
If MYMX and GOVX were to merge, would the combined entity become at least a $1 stock? They both seem to be involved in many of the same things.
GuiNoir is a muscular black cat of French-Canadian ancestry. Being French-Canadian, I didn't want to name him GuyNoir whos a character on Prarie Home Companion, played by Garrison Keillor
The article, "Influenza Virosomes as Vaccine Adjuvant and Carrier System," (2013) by Moser and Amacker and others, was useful (and the only one I read).
However, the info on Epaxal and Inflexal in the article is incorrect. These virosome-based drugs are in fact being phased out by Crucell (J&J) probably because J&J has another very promising flu vaccine in development.
Moser's "vaccine dilemma" comment may refer (pure spec on my part) to the inability so far of developing a universal flu vaccine. Or maybe he's referring to the transition from first to second generation virosome technology which may take a long time.
I did get the strong impression from the article that MYMX is right in the thick of things as far as developing second generation virosome technology.
Many thanks for the references
First a big thank-you to you and HH and Corpus for all your posts.
With the Moser article , I was wondering if the question he asked, "No licensed virosomal vaccines after 2014?" has an answer now?
And Moser also referred to, "The Vaccine Dilemma." I don't understand what he meant by that.
Thanks
Thanks for the clarification--sure hope you're right
Unfortunately the FiercePharma article was not totally optimistic:
"While officials prep the pilot studies, data published in July in the New England Journal of Medicine demonstrated that the shot's limited efficacy waned significantly over time. The WHO said the vaccine was to be used as a 'complementary control tool' with existing antimalarial measures to fight the serious disease."
Comments appreciated
Great stuff-thanks
Zika
Does the virosome technology do anything to prevent the mutation of viruses, i.e., a Chinese study demonstrated that the Zika virus mutated and this caused babies brains and heads to shrink (WSJ, 9-27-17)? Previous to this the Zika virus had been relatively harmless.
When Cohen became a 5% owner in CPXX it jumped to around 11. Several weeks (yes weeks!!) later JAZZ bouught CPXX for around 30.
Let's hope history repeats itself. Cohen is the only reason I'm in DVAX. The rest is noise.
Ask Steve Cohen
Harry was saying $0.50-$1.00 in one of his earlier posts
Will AUPH be developing treatments for other forms of Lupus?
30 is not enough. AUPH should do its own thing until FDA approval and commercialization in 2-3 years. Then sell AUPH for 50-70. BP is sitting on gobs of cash and doesn't know what to do with it.
Posters frequently mention Europe and Japan. What about the rest of the world?
Why not $170? BP is sitting on billions with no particularly good idea of what to do with all the loot.
Could Watson become the new ceo of PPHM?
Can this new lens be useful in eye surgeries?
What an idiotic post!
Steve Cohen's purchase of millions of CPXX shares is what took it from under 2 to over 9. Not too long after came the $30 buyout. Coincidence?
Hey Steve, Hope you're watching HTBX!!
Thanks--why didn't I think to look there! Rumor on stock twitter that Baker was buying today
Since it's Canadian, I went to stockhouse.com where AUPH is listed under T.AUP. Unfortunately I found no info on the tutes' holdings but some of the messages on the board were quite interesting. CanadianInsider.com lists a report for $20 which would quite possibly have it but you can't use google to get it. Unfortunately
How many shares does Baker Bros own? Any other large investors?
Great post! Has Trump ever addressed this issue? I personally would never vote for him because he won't release his tax returns. Say all you want about Hillary but at least She's done that!
Maybe all we need to do is ask Steve Cohen to invest in Heat as he did with CPXX. When he invested in CPXX it jumped from the 1's to the 9's. A few later it was bought out in the low 30's.
imho If results are good, KKD's valuation of $9.68 is way too low. Why not $30.68?
So now the inevitable question: Which is better for investors--HTBX or ONCS?
Long article in today's Wall Street Journal on immunology focusing on checkpoint inhibitors, titled "Road to a Cancer Advance"
Maybe HTBX will announce combo trials with Merck, BMY and Roche. Oh throw in PFE too
Hard to believe on 7-21-16 HTBX was at $0.63
Yahoo message board for CLF now gone?
The lead editorial in today's WSJ really trashed the FDA over its handling of the Sarepta mess. "Biotech companies working on treatments for other rare conditions are also watching. If a drug with no safety risks, a four-year record of effectiveness, and a strong legal and ethical basis can't win approval, what can?"
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't a former FDA commissioner married to the CEO of hedge-fund Renaissance Technologies?
Whatever meds you guys are taking, it's OK with me. I was in Regeneron early on, not because I understood anything about it, but because my wife's doc told me he was investing in it. With AMRN I like some of the tutes who are in it so that's enough for me. I think many of you guys tend to over analyze.
For all you guys who banter about AMRN every day, could any one of you say AMRN is a SELL? Or should I just hold to $75?
