Nice move today. Value in this company is in the lab. We will see the results of this in the buyout. Big picture.
Without revealing too much Red do you believe this is an avenue KBLB is exploring?
GTman1,
I think you are right. Once mass production occurs that solves many of the companies issues. The science has been way ahead of the infrastructure up until this year. Once we got into Vietnam things changed. Even if something catastrophic happened with the infrastructure in Vietnam we still have the facility in the States that’s up and running that they could use.
The financing aspect will take care of itself in the form of contracts.
I don’t think the number of outstanding shares will hurt the company as some may think. If a company wants to buy KBLB out they’ll pay a nice dollar for that to happen regardless of the outstanding shares.
This year will be a game changer for all of us. Thanks for your input.
Healthy criticism is good. Nobody should be worshiped like a god. That being said, for those that call Kim incompetent just aren’t smart. Unless you’ve tried to pull off something similar to what KBLB is trying to accomplish you are know different then a Monday morning QB.
Things have changed tremendously since KBLB got into Vietnam. Kim is speaking with confidence like we’ve never seen. Nobody saw the Polartec deal coming. Can you imagine what else the company has in store for us?
It all hasn’t been smooth but it’s been a lot smoother since getting into Vietnam. Big things are happening and December will be historic in terms of the SP.
In six months KBLB will be exploding. Some on this board have not handled the recent drop in sp well. To short sighted right now in their analysis.
Steve- whenever you post I always come away asking a very simple question. Why are you invested still after pointing out all the faults of the company?
Do what you want but complaining all these years about the company and still being invested just doesn’t add up.
Have a good day.
That could be huge Red.
What’s your take golf on where this ends up today?
Confident PR by the company. Not many thought the BOD PR was going to move the needle. It did. Kim is doing a nice job of keep KBLB in the news cycle consistently. Pretty clear the protective textile is going to be a huge win for the company.
You anticipate news coming out pretty consistently from now on Red?
Gut feeling or more then that? We’ve had a lot of posters tell us things are about to go boom over the years only to be disappointed.
Two years to the day this PR was announced. Exciting to see where the company is with these lines of transgenic silkworms:
N ARBOR, Mich., – May 10, 2016 - Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) (“Company”), the leading developer of spider silk based fibers, today announced the creation of four new lines of transgenic silkworms. These new transgenics are based on a new set of the Company’s most complex protein designs to date. These new designs are targeted for applications in performance apparel, medical, and ballistic protection, where their intended strength improvements should provide even higher levels of durability. The Company believes that these new transgenics have the potential to produce silk fibers with an unprecedented combination of physical properties with the potential to rival its existing Dragon SilkTM line. Over the next several months the Company will start testing each of these newly created transgenics to measure their performance and use for targeted application.
“These are the most complex genetic constructions that we have ever created in the Company’s history,” said COO Jon Rice. “In some cases, these designs took more than 12 months to perfect and we are just now able to confirm that this work has resulted in successful transgenics. This work represents a significant breakthrough in our efforts to bring transformative technical fibers to market and is a clear demonstration of our capability for continuous innovation.”
The Company expects to announce more details on the performance of these new materials over the coming months as performance testing is completed and each of these new transgenic silkworm lines obtain homozygosity.
Outside of you Dem, would your company be interested in KBLB’s silk in some capacity?
My man- the craziness was 10 years ago investing originally in KBLB. The risk gets less and less each day from here on out.
JustGoDeep I believe the Cvs was a test run and once the Actipatch sold out I don’t think they renewed. Who knows where it goes from here but let’s hope it’s positive.
1 year ago today this company turned a huge corner. Momentum is on our side. Here’s hoping it continues.

Can’t remember who recommended going back and looking at the PRs from 2012-16 and how that would give you a clue on potential updates now with Vietnam in play. This one from May 10th, 2016 was interesting, especially with the performance apparel, medical, and ballistic protection application line.

Simps- are you “still sleeping like a baby?” It seems like there is a change in your confidence level of BIEL.
What does almost there mean Fuja? What type of explosive news do you see occurring?
I wouldn’t be surprised if the medical supply company is a “big” name as well, Red.
No spin on this. It’s pretty clear the FDA doesn’t want this product hitting the market to address all different kinds of ailments. I’ve been critical of the company but this isn’t on them.
Lol. Yes it was.
What’s going to be fun watching from here on out is to see how many deals/partnerships KBLB announces this year that have been in the works since 2016 like Polartec?
I think a few which will ignite the SP even more.
Contracts to be announced soon, Red?
Who???
I appreciate that honesty but Ben has been inconsistent at best. Here’s hoping your DD is correct and things are progressing nicely.
Zen- I appreciate your posts but you get too testy when someone disagrees with your opinion. Sickzone has been right on developments with regards to Vietnam. Just talking to Ben and getting his input isn’t enough anymore to feel completely satisfied with developments regarding the company.
IMPORTANT: Actipatch is not being sold in Costco stores in Canada. Kelly Whalen just informed me through a Facebook message that it’s only online. Whoever posted that message please provide a picture to show otherwise. Thanks!
TB- when this company is just clicking on all cylinders when does the buyout occur and what could it be?
Could someone please take the brojazzy sticky down. Very pointless post and needs to be taken down. Company is in new territory right now.
Sick- what’s your take on the article you posted?
Thoughts on this seven? Getting ready for a bigger rollout?
From that article. I liked this part:
Currently the company has signed a contract with the US military to supply silk yarn to serve in the field of defense, some major partners also put the issue of silk import.
“The combination of high-tech silkworms in the US with traditional silkworm mulberry farming in Quang Nam will create good silkworms, thereby producing high quality silk products" - Mr. Jon Rice said.
Jay- good hearing from you. I know a couple years back you felt pretty good about companies you knew that were waiting on KBLB to mass produce silk. Do you still feel that way?
Something to consider as KBLB continues to make progress over in Vietnam.
I believe the true value of KBLB is what they are creating in the lab. With Trevor Kane it appears he has the capabilities to advance and creat stronger fibers for any customer or application.
If and when we are able to mass produce ss the opportunities for KBLB to fulfill multiple contracts will be possible.
But the reason they can adjust to any customer needs will be because of what Trevor has done in the lab. Can anyone really put a price on this when it comes time to discuss a buyout? Probably not.
Kim has come under heavy heat over the years. Some warranted but most of it is just noise. No one on this board has any type of experience getting a product like this to market. When we invested in this stock we knew there was tremendous risk. But with that risk there was always the possibility of a phenomenal return.
Kim deserves credit for three outstanding hires. Jon, Trevor, and Kenneth Le. All three over the last two years have helped KBLB possibly do something no other company has successfully ever done.
Mass produce spider silk and change the textile industry.
We are getting closer to achieving this. The further this project continues the better I feel about the prospects for success.
Let’s see what this week, month, and year brings. It’s time to make spider silk great again.
How quickly is soon Red? Is Kim strategically spreading out Pr’s to gradually move the SP? I’d love to believe this.
From Shamir Patel on Actipatch pain relief group. This should make Steve a little excited.
UK Patients Only - If you are happy to speak with a journalist about Actipatch, please can you PM me your details. We are speaking with Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Mirror, regarding an article for Actipatch and Medication Free Pain Relief. I require your name, town, telephone number and email address please and I will organise for someone to contact you. — with Kelly Whelan.
Great vote of confidence. Notre Dame doesn’t associate with scam companies. Their poor judgement in Brian Kelly as a football coach notwithstanding, they know what’s going on right now and just allowed Kraig to keep plugging away.
Big things happening.
The question becomes when do we hear about the next phase for KBLB/Prodigy now that we have this financing situated?
