For Mazeppa, I have 20s, 21s, 22s and 26s for Nov 23rd. I'm at a loss as well. A week ago I had an account value of over $120K, I just looked tonight and my balance says $23.7K but Etrade splits the Bid/Ask when it calculates value. Basically I'm somewhere under that.
Once again, I believed we were in a good place with AMRN. Should've bailed when the nonsense started last week, but I thought we were good. I thought wrong and now I don't know what to do either except sit tight while they kill the Nov. 16 expiration.
bidmark, you're a sick puppy. Jeez, this is a bitch. Has the Company added anything of value that might help stem the bleeding...i.e. Tony Montana will be visiting the Pomerantz Law Firm tomorrow.
Hello, been out this afternoon. Just got in, anyone have a synopsis of what the hell happened?
So right in the middle between $17 and $17.50 per share on Friday. I hope that somehow we screw up that plan.
Sorry, don't know if this was recently posted but there are about 180,000 Call Options at 17 1/2 or higher in the Nov 16 series. That represents 18,000,000 shares in play. The folks who suppress higher pricing as options expiration approaches will be working overtime for the remainder of this week to keep AMRN at $17.50 or less. I'm not expecting much of a rebound this week although I'd love to be surprised. I own a heavy concentration of options with a Nov 23 expiration and I'm concerned.
Arthralgia not Arthritis.

Arthritis vs. Arthralgia: What's the Difference? - Healthline
https://www.healthline.com/health/rheumatoid-arthritis/arthralgia
Dec 1, 2016 - Arthritis is “inflammation (pain with swelling) of the joints.” The CCFA notes that you may experience arthralgia in different joints in the body, including the hands, knees, and ankles. It also explains that arthritis can cause joint swelling and stiffness as well as joint pain like arthralgia.
That's the 1st time we've ever matched NRX volume with Generic Lovaza for any time frame - weekly or monthly!! Thanks Sam.
We could all use a pill on a day like today!
I gotta try some of what you've been smoking or snorting, can you put me on to your supplier?
Excuse me BaaBaa, Dan talked nobody into anything. In fact he was very direct in cautioning anyone on this board who expressed interest that options trading can be dangerous and should not be engaged in by every investor. Your question sounded like an accusation which is completely uncalled for.
Pyrrh, you suck!...but congratulations on the success of your short trade!
Good call all around Anonymous Fish. What's your thinking on the rebound? I have to admit, this drop really loused up my morning getting my Nov 16 Calls moved forward. Shouldn't have been surprised...that's AMRN! Lol.
What does "ROFL" mean?
Great to hear Ranjo, wonderful result that many more will experience going forward!
Follow on to smarterer response, lowering Insulin Resistance may also allow T2D patients to use lower doses of Insulin.
I remember that paper from the Journal of Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis. It was a completely rational explanation for the benefit that EPA provides. Very technical but I forced myself to finish and went back over anything I didn't get on first pass. I was really excited and posted about it. The reference was posted by AtlasSnuggled (wonder where he/she went) and I responded with Post# 14621.
Thank you for your service, Steve!! And don't spend it all in one place!
The majority of docs whom I've heard from recognize that this is not a study of CVD or T2D markers, it is an outcomes study. Those who understand this seem to have little concern about the placebo since the data show consistent outcomes regardless of cholesterol or triglyceride levels.
Personally I think the FDA will be convinced based on these same data. If it isn't, then I think the outcry from patients and physicians may help them to fulfill their useful function of drug approval. (I don't mind if they ask for more data...as long as they don't hold up the approval.)
Frankly doesn't sound like the Endo or Cardio docs give a shit about the FDA. I for one think they'll come around, don't you?
OMG, what a giant shock?!? Dr. Nissen???
Thanks for the uplifting message Herbie, some of us have only been in a position to use options.
Yeah, how big was that head-to-head, 14 people. Go back to the Matinas Board Bozo.
JL is a pretty tall man, I recall.
And with all that, the M..erF..ers who control the market still managed to push us down a quarter on the last day to buy before the big reveal! How do you figure that? (P.S. I'm aware of AH but once the options expire, AH is too late.)
That article in the Atherosclerosis Journal was amazing. I really thought it would start a rally at the time but nothing really happened. Did convince me that we were absolutely on the trail of the Holy Grail of CVD.
Where is the AH Volume on that screen.
I know I saved this but can't locate it now. Can someone post the call-in info for tomorrows Late-Breaking Trials Presentation? Thanks, sorry to impose!
When did Reduce-It become a primary prevention trial, I wonder?
Does anyone really still believe that there is a possibility of some pricing pressure tomorrow? It seems like the program is to just squeeze and squeeze until the big boys have taken all they can and then just let it fly away.
Hey Marz, what does the Fly Fisher have to say about the PPS so far this week? Any magma beneath the dome?
I am just praying that pre-Market Monday is >= $27/shr. I expect much more but must have at least this quote!
north, Thanks for the clarification on the time of event.
Never Mind.....!!
This transaction was significant but not massive. Profit on the trade was approx. $4,200,000. A good days work I'll agree!
You're f..in nuts, I love it! Thanks.
rfj, thanks for the effort, it's appreciated!
Thanks Panton, I didn't understand from your post that we were talking about Amarin calling a mandatory conference call on Sunday. It makes much more sense to me now.
Sorry panton, but what does a "mandatory call on Sunday" imply?
I'm sure you're right about that insurance cost, many insurers won't even look at you!!
Thanks HD, will not try to hold you to it but I've got to unload a bunch of Nov 9 Calls. It feels a little better that I might have a chance, so hoping you're on the money with those thoughts.
