Grego, manuals were submitted late last year and I belive Deep mentioned a revision was submitted in December... About 3 months ago. I wouldn't sell at this point. Once that approval occurs, there will be some PR, the quote will most likely increase a bit and the the remainder of the tasks will happen quickly imo. A note on proving flights... I believe cargo can be transported during proving flights that will generate some revenue prior to passenger service. Deep, can you verify that?
The links you provided prove nothing other than frequency of 1 flight per week being granted by the DOT along with extension requests that were filed. Nowhere does it say...
"BALTIA LOST ITS ROUTE AUTHORITY AFTER IT FAILED TO MEET THE DOT REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN IT."
POST 12603 QUOTE: "BALTIA LOST ITS ROUTE AUTHORITY AFTER IT FAILED TO MEET THE DOT REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN IT."
Where did you see this one...
POST 12584 QUOTE: "Baltia has lost its ROUTE AUTHORITY"
Where did you find this?
Darth, I'm not here to bully or pretend I'm some insider... I just maintain an open line of communication with Baltia just like every investor has the right to do. The information I'm offered isn't old. In fact, what Deep explained was something I just learned recently... and it's obviously new information to many on this board now. Good luck with your future investments.
Deep, although I can't write on the topic as precisely as you just did, these responses are the exact reason I chose not to explain 705.
You don't deserve to have your thoughtful answers mangled; however, you definitely answered the question that may have been on the minds of some of the more serious investors frequenting this board.
E
Thank you for proving that we are not all in this together.
While Baltia's conception began over 20 years ago, it would behoove serious investors (that look toward the company's future success) to consider the progression over the last 2-3 years. In my opinion, the company was merely an idea prior to that... I considered it a very risky investment up until that point.
This is a NEW ballgame. While it's definitely frustrating for investors to wait on things to come to fruition, it's clear for those legitimately involved to see the many accomplishments that have been executed and we are truly in the final stage of the certification process.
For those that can't see it... c'est la vie.
Quote: "We are all in this together"
I wish that sentiment was true... There's been plenty of proof to the contrary as of late.
The truth is I'd be more inclined to field that question from iHub subscribers to this board that actually look to see Baltia succeed instead of just criticize everything without gathering any substantiated information.
Again, there is definitely an answer to that question... and it's a simple phone call away for those that are interested in Baltia's future.
"I would really like to know how they benefited from this..."
Which is why I recommended that you call the company for that information. I've done my DD. If you are interested in the future of the company, then I suggest you do the same and call or write the company with your questions. If you prefer to just sling opinions here then continue on.
However, there is definitely an answer to this question.
That first plane served a purpose quite well actually. There were significant reasons why they chose to purchase 705. If you are interested in investing in Baltia or continuing a current investment, I would suggest giving them a call. There's plenty of detail to be offered.

Ohhhh the Baltia selling pressure is just intolerable lately! A whole 2.1 million shares traded over the last 10 days! WOW!!! MASSIVE SELLOFF BY SHAREHOLDERS!!! All $66K dollars exchanged hands! Shocking to see that kind of volume over 10 days! I mean seriously... Someone please call Guiness! This Must be some kind of record!

Great information that many are not aware of! Thanks for posting.

Where is your evidence? It's already been proven that Baltia has route authorization. There is no evidence to prove your claim. Sounds like the burden of proof is on you to back back your statement.
Not the slightest broken spirit here...
While there have been many missed target dates, it can't be denied that progress is proven over the last 2 and a half years. For those who haven't visited the page in a while...
http://www.baltia.com/Summaryofsteps.html
Unfortunate for those that have lost interest in the company or were simply looking for a get rich quick scheme.
Quote:
"Baltia has lost its ROUTE AUTHORITY, Has $38,000.00 in the bank, has issued 1.8 billion shares and NO source of revenue other than to further dilute the stock."
1) By diluting the stock through additional shares sold, a company raises capital, not "revenue". Investing 101
2) No substantiated evidence supporting claims of lost route assignment. Completely baseless and misguided
3) 1.8 billion shares has enabled Baltia to accomplish the following (while positioning themselves to launch with little to no debt):
* Office and Gate assignments at both JFK and Pulkovo
* Acquisition of a Boeing 747-200, pristine and fit to fly
* Maintenance facilities, service and fuel contracts executed at JFK and Polkovo
* 4,000 pages of viable and legitimate SAI manuals have been submitted to the FAA for approval
* Much more listed at http://www.baltia.com/Summaryofsteps.html
Real meat... Nothing baseless about these accomplishments.
Speck... let's take it a step further.
Ten days worth of trading average volume of 242K shares at an average share price of say .033 = $79,860 in ten days.
I'd hardly call this selling pressure with a market cap of around $61MM.
No links, no proof, no substantiation... No value.
Have you spoken with the FAA?
This board has been setup for the specific intent of conducting a
common sense discussion on Baltia Airlines (BLTA). The board discussion should solicit both pro & con "logical / rational" discussion. However,
BASHING (consistent unfactual negative drum beating) and/or SPLASHING (consistent unfactual positive hyping) will result in immediate review.
LT, Anything I can get involved with to help? (I'm in Florida, not NY)
E
It's obvious there are some "investors" that lost a substantial portion of their "portfolio" over the years. I'm sure some bought into the hype at .08+ cents a share looking to get rich quick... lost patience and somewhere along the way sold for a loss. It's the only reason for such clamoring bitterness and negativity.
I for one concentrate on the following ACCOMPLISHMENTS that occurred JUST WITHIN the last 3 short years:
* Acquired a pristine and AIRWORTHY 747-200 in Baltia livery (with FAR fewer cycles than the 32 year old Delta/AirFrance 747 I just flew to Paris).
* 5 Year lease agreement for passenger/employee office space in Terminal 4 of JFK has been executed WITH Gate, Check-In and Information Booth Assignments.
* Lease agreements for office space, fuel and maintenance facilities at Pulkovo have been executed WITH Gate, Check-In and Information Booth Assignments.
* Lease agreements/contracts for maintenance facility/services at JFK and Pulkovo have been executed.
* 4,000 pages of legitimate and viable SAI manuals have been submitted to the FAA for approval.
* Hiring process for flight crews is well under way.
There are countless archives of Baltia's struggles since its 1989 inception; however, very few within the last 3 years. How many of the accomplishments listed above existed prior to 2009? ZERO.
This is a whole new ballgame. Had the bitter and scorned never heard of Baltia prior to today, I'd bet those same "investors" would be clamoring to buy in at .034.
Just curious... Have any of the NY investors heard anything back (more than the standard auto-response) from their inquiries to Representatives/Senators yet?

"Boeing vs. Airbus
I'm sure the new fuel efficient dreamliner is the main driver behind this... "
DO YOU EVEN READ THE LINKS THAT YOU POST?
The article makes NO mention of the 787 Dreamliner but instead references orders of the narrow-body Boeing 737 MAX whose first scheduled delivery is in 2017 with a price tag of 77MM+ USD.
But please... continue talking about a $200 million dollar Dreamliner on this board... as if any startup airline in the world should own one.
YOU HAVE ZERO CREDIBILITY ON THIS BOARD. Thank you for repeatedly proving that.
Delta, I received your message also. Thank you.
Got it Deep, thank you! I should probably look into upgrading my iHub account.
E
Welcome... I think you chose a good day to buy.
LT... Why would you offer a response, much less apologize, to someone who frequents this board every three or four months and offers ZERO constructive criticism or ideas? You'd think most iHubbers would read back a few days or weeks before posting ridiculous comments.
WHO IS DELETING POSTS? As far as I'm concerned, everything was well-guided public information. Am I missing something here?
Who deleted Deep's posts and why?
Agreed on all counts!
I think you're right that there is nothing weird about this pattern between .036-.038 and the volume.
MM's could be moving shares amongst each other to create a perception of market for the stock. There is also over 1,000 shareholders and many of them know very little about investing... buy whenever, sell whenever they need to go shopping or get bored.
Luckily, there are a whole lot of private placement holders in at around the .035 range and going long so we have some very strong support there. Any dip below .036 is a big bargain at this point and won't last... unless of course something negative is released.
I was referring to an increase in exposure PRIOR to certification and marketing... it will be difficult to build exposure enough to push the stock to that .08 tier of resistance all the way through to .13 based solely on manuals approval. Again, I hope I'm wrong but I'm also ok with slow and steady growth. We will obviously see a lot of movement once certification is complete and tickets are being sold.
I hope you are right and I am wrong. I just think it will require a lot of exposure and hype to get us to that .08-.13 range... that's not easy without marketing and certification.
Tituba... hmmm. She doesn't happen to be a few centuries old does she? I once heard of a Tituba but she vanished long, long ago.
I don't see that quote touching .08 until certification is complete. The manuals, while significant, may get us back to resistance at .046-.049. I personally would be content with that movement based on manuals approval.
When certification is complete and marketing is permitted, that's when I think we will see this stock break out... and probably breeze by .08 rather quickly.
Just thought I'd offer my .52631579's share of BLTA.
E
Well... I think I may be about done here on iHub. The negativity and conspiracies on this board far outweigh its benefits as of late. For those of you that appreciate useful dialogue and are serious about investing in Baltia, I suggest that you contact the company directly. Schedule a tour of the facility if you can as well.
Thank you to Deep, LT and Emit. I appreciate all your insight and I look forward to meeting you guys at the inaugural. Delta... hang in there. It's right around the corner.

Virgin America Facts -
"In early 2004, Virgin Group announced its intent to start a new, United States-based, low-fare airline it named "Virgin USA". At the time, Virgin USA expected flights to begin by mid-2005."
"Because it had trouble finding U.S. investors willing to gamble on a new airline, given the state of the already crowded U.S. airline industry, the launch date was pushed back from mid-2005 to early 2006."
"The review of Virgin America’s application was prolonged because of this opposition, which claimed Virgin America would not be under U.S. ownership or control. The application was denied by the Department of Transportation on December 27, 2006."
I mean let's get real here... Virgin America posted over $250 million in losses it's first 3 years in service with a fleet of like 48 planes. They went through denial from DOT and setbacks of more than 3 years from it's conception to the point where they had their first revenue generating flight in August 2007.
Is it a joke to compare Baltia to Virgin America? I'm just curious if some people are serious about that.
I'm no airline industry guru and I don't claim to have even 1% of the airline knowledge that some present on this board... but I sure know how to read a Wikipedia page. Comparing Virgin America to Baltia is one of the more ridiculous things I've read on this board.
Baltia didn't even have the proper aircraft a year and a half ago. If an investor REALLY wants to analyze the two companies' timelines, how about compare them from the time they each had physical aircraft with airworthiness.
In my book, that would put Baltia ahead of Virgin America in the certification process... if one REALLY wanted to compare these two companies. Absurd.
Thank you for your service to our great country.

I'm finding that some iHubbers on this board have quite a bit of airline knowledge (albeit jaded), but seemingly very little investment knowledge. I would recommend some reading up on investments and how to research. I'm no Wall Street insider but I do know some basics... like when companies issue a PR statement, investors don't have to go to any one source to read it. It shows up for a period of time when you log into your brokerage and research the particular stock under 'News'.
Actually a simple Google search will pull up all the headlines on specific topics from each source that chose to report it during that timeframe...
For instance, PRNewswire at http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/baltia-accepted-into-the-faa-sms-program-131345188.html had the same article as The Street... It was picked up by numerous outlets AND it was displayed on Google/finance for quite some time as well as the major brokerages when researching the stock.
Hahahahaha... There is definitely a PR wire that all the major brokerages retrieve from to make information public. This just in from iHub!... Too funny.
