A 52 week high would do the trick to get more visibility. It would make automatic news lists and many traders use that as a screen.
Matter of time...today would be great!
True, Port Canaveral would allow flights and an easier drive for many in the south-east.
How about a cruise? I just did my first a month ago.
Royal Carribean large ship (Allure of the Seas)
Close to airports in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.
Good eating, drinking, Vegas/Broadway-quality shows, piano bar, jazz band, rock band, meeting rooms.
Fun for the wife (or husband or significant other(s)) and kids also.

Perhaps best to not get personal.
ggwpq, who wrote this? edit I see HC wainwright
biotech_researcher it's obvious you are a liar. You do not seek the truth. You are here only to spread lies. The more polite term on wall street is fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
I recommend no one here read, respond, or mention him further.
In my opinion, based on his irrational words in the context of the clearly life-saving effects of Vascepa, proven by the overwhelmingly positive date, he is attempting to dampen the share price so shorts can cover, or big players can buy retail shares on the cheap.
dipped to 20.80 now 22.80
The price rise on briefing doc release was fairly large, and the docs were surprisingly positive. Adcom vote confirms that sentiment.
The fact docs were so positive probably causing trading pop on adcom vote to be muted.
Again, Evaporate, AHA, Cananda, Europe, further sales increases, just good times ahead.
Slow climb or moon shot, over time its going up.
Does today's price really matter? mostly de-risked now. Big payday is weeks or months in the future.
seeing trades about 23
7:10 got time to make some coffee!
Very eloquent way to describe yesterday.
I've been aware of AMRN for 9 years, but only this past year have I studied the science deeply. The knowledge of the robust data, some understanding of how it works (lowering inflammation, importance of aa/epa ratio) gave me the confidence to hold through binary events and to withstand various blows and set backs.
The adcom showed that some of the experts simply didn't have the depth of knowledge to qualify them to be the deciding factors regarding future of Vascepa.
But having confidence in the data and that V will work, that Evaporate is around the corner, that scripts continue to grow at a fabulous pace...the ultimate success now seems a matter of time.
Bureaucrats ultimately can't stop the train.
But the ignorance on display was frustrating.
I think up tomorrow, but I won't be shocked nor deterred if it drops some.
The big picture is the data is outstanding, label expansion will happen (some question how much)..
Bears are on life support, but not quite fully dead. They may gasp a few more breaths before finally giving up the ghost.
But with Evaporate, AHA, etc the share price is going up, way up, over time. It doesn't matter to me if that doesn't happen tomorrow.
Vegas...can we coincide with this show?
try this link...its the second of two and was easier for me to get in

safety, 16-0 yes
Lady addressing the downside of having to use a good drug off label. She is ready to let the drug go to the market because (duh) drug shows great benefit (if not slam dunk) and it's safe. IOW (my words) what's the harm?
Some sanity.
Public comments now closed. Doctor asked for FDA to update label to correspond with the data. Expressed frustration that insurance has been disapproving coverage for patients he thinks would clearly benefit from Vascepa.
Pretty good article to answer noobs who ask, "AMRN doesn't make money, what's your hook?"
I'm an airline pilot and I have been posting on a forum of fellow pilots about AMRN. Some savvy option traders have posted great trading strategies that will profit on a directional move in the short term. They haven't taken the time to study the story and that's ok since they are traders at heart.
But the article is good for someone seeking a quick summary of why this stock, why now.
A telling quote, that I think is hard to refute for those that think that GIA is a likely scenario...
"There is a wildcard at play here, however. Amarin's management hasn't even attempted to build out a broader clinical pipeline to complement Vascepa, and that's a big tell in regards to the company's value-creation strategy. Cutting to the chase, Amarin has probably already fielded a few tender offers in the event the FDA greenlights Vascepa's Reduce-It indication."
To be clear, I wouldn't mind a GIA so I'm not trying to advocate for BO.
But my opinion (nor probably anyone here unless your real name is Baker) will make any difference on that point anyway.
Very nice post.
But no to the "multi-verse". We are just ourselves in the here and now, imo.
So the BB Woodcock date is most unlikely.
But I do agree string theory demonstrates 6 additional dimensions to the 4 we experience in time and space.
Here's a chart, probably good to follow almost all the time.
https://www.mic.com/articles/75949/should-football-teams-go-for-it-on-4th-down-this-chart-tells-you
But it could be considered a tool and experience, psychology, may dictate different action.
Your definition of rules is that they must be rigid 100% of the time or they are not rules.
I disagree. That would be "rigid rules"
Remember Motley fool? Rule makers and rule breakers.
Amazon.com, Netflix, rule breakers. Macy's, Blockbuster, rule makers.
Hope we all make money regardless.
No, rarely acting outside of rules means you have rules and follow them...except rarely...
Sports is the same way...
The football coach may punt on 4th down 90% of the time, but given game circumstances, the flow of the game, may decide to go for it when the conventional wisdom says no.
Most people can relate to being aware when conventions don't apply.
I didn't say one "can't lose" if they break rules. Nor did I scoff at rules.
I said it may be appropriate to RARELY act outside of established rules.
"Only if it confirms (closes the day above) Can't let FOMO grab you by the balls. Gotta follow the rules"
I get the strategy of following the rules.
FFS has stated he will open half position on confirmed breakout, and add to that on a pullback.
Above quote says his rules require a CLOSE above the level he is looking at. I believe the 200 ma. That would indicate he would wait until tomorrow (or perhaps after hours today) to buy.
Or perhaps today's price and volume would qualify as decisive enough to bend those rules.
As important as following trading rules is in most cases, some of the GREAT traders (read some books) say that sometimes to make the really big returns, it is appropriate to sometimes (rarely) BREAK the rules.
In AMRN, I humbly believe, if you have studied the market and science closely enough, it is appropriate to break the rules.
As Jim Cramer says about AAPL, "don't trade it, own it" Applies at AMRN, imho.
America first? sounds like MAGA, baby
Your post is concise. But I'm not wrong in that JT doesn't seem to be able to do the same.
But he is right about the q&a. Obviously JT is not senile. He obviously has skills that have allowed AMRN to advance to this point.
But in communicating useful information via q&a...I mean most people listening just couldn't follow all the babble.
What's wrong with concisely addressing questions?
and raf, quit censoring posts.
done deal. ask raf
16.70 area (plus or minus a dime or so) has been resistance. It is looking like that price area is becoming support.
This is a good sign.

Seriously, it doesn't really matter what FFS or you post. Buyout probably won't happen before adcom, imo, but whether or not it does will have absolutely zero to do with any posts on ihub, imho
I agree with your assessment.
I would love for any of your "unlikely pipedream" scenarios to come to pass.
Morning price movement idea..set-up for the AF coverage at noon...manipulate it up to resistance and AF provides FUD for shorts to run it down?
Looking at price/volume distribution on my chart, there's gonna be heavy resistance in the 14.74-15.25 range.
Not gonna break through that barrier without major news, imo.

bingo, bam, presto...you've found you entry.

Thanks for posting.
So EPA should have a leading role going forward in preventing and reversing inflammation and CVD.
We can raise EPA by taking Vascepa and eating quality fish.
What lifestyle changes can lower AA? Both diet and exercise?
Seems to me the right way to eat from my research is to eat whole food, unprocessed food, etc. The major controversies seem to be how much red meat is acceptable, how much protein (especially animal protein) is appropriate.
To give some shorthand, a Mediterranean type diet seems to be promoted by the medical community.
But Keto and adkins type diets seem to provide great results also, not only in losing weight, but also in improving health (some claim reversing type II diabetes, etc.
So, taking as a given to stay away from too much simple carbs and processed foods, I'd like to hear opinions on high fat (keto) vs high carb (med diet) vs high protein (adkins) if the goal is long term health...and how these relate to keeping the EPA/ AA ratio ideal.
