Well that is a hell of a lot of pigs
Massive selling????????? Volume is one million shares. Give me a break
Close down .0003. I just sent Etrade a message telling them I'm not happy and that they better not be borrowing my stocks.
Etrade The MFMM
I'll bet we close even again today.
All the weak stomachs have to be shaken out by now???
The only mention in the sun today is a thank you for supporting the bowling team.
Nothing In The Berlin Daily sun today.
A supply agreement for OUR wood? are you involved in this project?
It's probably Charlie Bass's nephew and a wood pellet plant.
Do you think professionals are going to want to buy run down duplexes and triplexes? If they do it will be because they are so cheap that they can tear them down and build a new home. I was in real estate for a while and you are like many of the people I dealt with it that profession. There are many streets with signs on them that describe you. ONE WAY!!
Nice little video on Berlin and they mention the Biomas plant.

Are you talking about the prison? Nice neighbors.
Beautiful City?? Have you ever been there? It is just another defunct mill town in NH.
I guess we'll just have to wait to see what the outcome is next week. With the new developement of the added business in Berlin, It could make the desision even harder for the PUC. This means even more now to the NH north country. With all the paper mills now closed they need JOBS!! And this project will supply many.
How are you going to live off the grid with all the electronics in that office?
Maybe the stipulation that PSNH can't own the generating plants has something to do with the fact that they built the nuclear power plant and almost went bankrupt because of it.
Close at even!!
The smaller generating plants are saying that the Berlin plant will put them out of business. There was plenty of wood when all the paper mills that have shut down were running at capacity. What makes them think that the supply won't be there to keep them all running? I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to keep up with whatever is needed to keep them all running. Why would the Berlin plant pay anymore than they need to for their wood supply? New Hampshire is nowhere near what is needed to fulfill the renewable power mandate. IMO they are full of crap.
Also the water park and greenhouses would create even more needed jobs for Berlin. And spin off businesses would be created. Like more Hotels, trucking of the produce and maybe even outlet malls for the parents to go to while the kids are in the park. What do you think Spencer?
Yes it is not. Concord Steam already has customers for their steam and the electricity is just a byproduct that they can sell. The Berlin plant will be primarily for producing electricity.
Maybe they should build a large water park adjacent to the plant they could heat it with the steam and attract tourists to Berlin. They could run the warm water down the river and have year round white water rafting and kayaking too. Also some greenhouses and grow vegetables.
Here is what Concord Steam is already getting from the Steam they produce.

And they supply most of downtown Concord as well as (I believe) Concord Hospital.
You have to take into account that Concord Steam already has income from supplying steam to many buildings in Concord. They are trying to build a new plant to replace the old one. So the electric generation is just cream.
I bought 2k at .15 sold half at .33 Just sitting on them now. No cost, no loss. Check out LLEG. It's about to POP!!
So what happened to them?
But I know that at one point I saw that all 3 billion were outstanding. So did the company buy back 600 Million?
Does anyone know how many LLEG shares are outstanding? I thought I saw at one point that it was 3 Billion. But Etrade now shows 2.4 Billion. What happened to the other 600 Million?
Yes, I got that too.
With the supply of wood that is available, I can't see that the other wood burners argument that the Berlin plant's demand for biograde fuel will increase the price and put them out of business. They don't have a valid argument and the PUC should clearly see this.
Acording to the Concord Monitor article biofuel grade wood is plentiful and only half of the available supply is curently being used. So what point do the wood burners have to object to?
Where is everyone? Very quiet today.
Good article in the Sunday Concord, NH Monitor. It doesn't look like there is any shortage of biofuel grade wood in NH.

One more day in 2010. Think we'll close out the year above a ha'penny?
Mike, Let's hope we all have a very happy and prosperous New Year.
I don't Paint, and my wife is out shoveling snow. I just had heart surgery a few months ago. The good thing about that is my surgeon said I can't shovel snow.
I guess we'll have to wait until after the new year to see some real movement. And maybe some good news.
Did you fill?
