The smaller generating plants are saying that the Berlin plant will put them out of business. There was plenty of wood when all the paper mills that have shut down were running at capacity. What makes them think that the supply won't be there to keep them all running? I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to keep up with whatever is needed to keep them all running. Why would the Berlin plant pay anymore than they need to for their wood supply? New Hampshire is nowhere near what is needed to fulfill the renewable power mandate. IMO they are full of crap.
