Folks, let's remember that having a Canadian diploma is just as good as an American diploma, probably better. I personally think the USA has been slow to recognize China as a big new power. We're self-obsessed, like a child. Canada/China might be a strong play. I live on the West Coast. There are many Asians living, working and being educated here and in Canada. Vancouver, BC, is one the great world cities. It can be difficult for people in the Mid-west to understand this Asian influence. And Wall Street is strung out on Ayn Rand.
No sense in selling. I see a glass of Pale Ale half-full.
If the people at Maple China are go-getters.....
I'm still 15-25 years from my ashes being scattered from Cape Perpetua on the Oregon coast - lol.
Tin, you have tears in your eyes because a 1 to 80 reverse split is a kick in the uh, teeth, for anyone who put money down during the Phan years.
You seem nervous about the 10K.
China rediscovers vocational education:

If it ever gets to $125, I'll personally pay for MisterEC's psychiatric care.
Most likely, these loan agents are relatives of the BOD, siblings, in-laws, close friends, etc., the usual suspects.
I hope we're gonna make a move with that $800K.
And not just pay salaries.
Paddles......CLEAR!
The $800k is our only pulse.
There must be an iron in the fire.
I wonder if anyone averaged down early in the last quarter based on mgmt's cheery holiday PRs. This R/S really socks it to 'em.
Unless this R/S is coupled with an announcement of an acquisition, or an imminent deal that is dependent on the split and will move the company down the field, then I'm voting against it.
Take THAT, mgmt.
So you think Zhou has a bad business plan?
Forget the past. I'm talking about why Victor Zhou can't find backers.
Why can't HRCT find backers for their splendid adventure?
It's a pulse.
Based on the company's communique of 01/19/09, I would expect some action in March.
Bernie Madoff? Shoulda known.

It's at the bottom of the heap that you'll find the best compost, aka, black gold.
Turns out info on HRCT ad hits is not available to the general public via I-hub.
I wonder if our ad has gotten any hits.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/default.aspx
True - lol.
I'll try not to get carried away.
Still...it's unprecedented.
Sounds right; those "I-hub masses" are looking for opportunity.
It's kind of a brilliant ad placement, and probably not all that expensive.
Holy cow, Batman!
This seems kinda huge.
I like the confidence.
HRCT is a teen-ager.
We're due for some excitement around here.
Okay, but why do they stay on top of the thread for weeks and months?
Problem is they pile up on the top of the page and all new posts go below them.
What can I do about these sticky notes appearing on the thread?
Heh.
Good observation.
The next acquisition could give us some momentum.
Great minds, you know...
"Based on our great achievements during the past 232 days, several Chinese investors have will to loan fund to Hartcourt for further acquisitions using more cash, which is under negotiation now."
No, I hadn't put that together.
Congratulations to the people at the top for reinventing this business and taking us to the brink of solvency and viability.
When management executes an acquisition without dilution, I'll get excited.
HRCT - the bubble days are gone. We went to the mountaintop ($20 pre-split), but fell off a cliff. Best we carry no illusions into the future.
As James Dean so succinctly puts in the first 15 seconds of this clip:
A whole new business-like attitude has emerged from HRCT as we head into the new year. I'm 95% sure we'll file on time in January, for example. It used to 50/50, or less.
The magic of three.
If we have a third successful deal in a row (in addition to Beijing Yanyuan and China E & I), the shareprice should pop.
