Correct... we canceled two of those shareholder meetings! C'mon now, we should rejoice in anticipation of the fruition of what appears to be a well-planned and now being executed plan to bring water to an absolutely huge market. It's awesome!!!
However, let's not overlook the fact that we've had fumbles... canceled meetings, ignored previous dealings with ne'er-do-wells, promised newsletters that never appeared, incorrect filings (Aquagold USA instead of Int'l), CEO disappearing acts with zero warning, promises of PR's that have not happened (contracts), CEO being summoned by the Chinese Olympic committee with no follow-up (other than him resigning), and we've seen too much lack of professionalism in print. Ergo, I do not have to give Steve credit.
I give AQUI credit for putting together what is ostensibly a very, very complex and difficult deal with a government (China) that is known for bureaucracy and delay. Congratulations AQUI!!! Show me the contracts! I've been patient as heck, as we all have who have stayed the course. I do however, believe Manny only waived letters of intent at the meeting and they are frantically trying to convert those to actual contracts, and I think they will. They have awesome players and partners in this endeavor with Wolong and with Lianhua. Those are two of the best in their industry and we have exceeded my expectations in both those partners, but we can't ignore the fact that we are 1/3 of our high.
Look, I know I go on and on about his lack of being "hooked on phonics"... but if he wants it to stop it's a pretty easy fix, that's all. There's no PR... no newsletter, we've all done DD for almost half a year now... what do you want to talk about? Should I join the "Weeee" club? How about the "To da moon", or "chart looks strong", or "Big blue wave", "Positive energy lives here", "#1 Life changer", blah, blah club. I would wager we've tolerated those, with much, much less benefit of constructive criticism, at about 1000 times the frequency of the rare and occasional spelling reference. If anyone doesn't think professionalism matters, they are wrong. JMHFO. Weeeee! Great day today!!! How's that? Where's a PR on contracts?
A Thespian? Well, that would explain his penchant for over-the-top hyperbole and his comedic form; but it does not excuse not clicking edit/check spelling as he writes. Darn me, I said I'd drop it. Again, I like his humor and in his newsletters it's his business, he can do whatever he wants. In PR's however, it's also my business and I have a right to expect rational, thorough professionalism. I hope he's not "acting" or doing a "song and dance" on us! lol
Did you happen to mention the location of the spellcheck key? Ok, back to business... today was very interesting in terms of volume and movement. Was this purely a result of chart-heads watching the squiggly lines, or does it imply a greater depth of awareness on the part of investors? Do you folks think the word's getting out, or is this just business as usual with our new lower trading channel? Should I become a flipper now, instead of long and strong, as they seem to be the ones making all the money? I sure wish I was one of the longs who got in at like .005 and tell everyone else to be patient for years to come! BTW, where are all those PR's? Manana? Two weeks? It's raining and the ledge is getting slippery.
Hey Sid, I actually do appreciate his sense of humor. He's pretty darn funny and I'd have beers with him any time. I would just never let him write a PR for my business, that's all. How are you feelin'?
Hey, maybe Sid is right... after those multiple translations it gets released with the pristine clarity we've all grown to know and love!
There's no way that PR's go through that entire chain of command and pop out, as they have, rife and replete with spelling errors and grammatical faux pas.
Aymon? Is that actually a positive inference? "I think Goldman knows what's coming soon." Are you feeling alright buddy? You, uh, don't seem like yourself tonight. Did you actually break down and buy some shares... confess.
You're right, I can sell and I don't want to because I actually believe in this company and their biz plan. But when Steve says he had to install more phone lines to handle all the calls from Chinese investors, and he writes like a comic book kid, and there is no confirmation of $500 mil., I have my doubts that EDS is for real, or that Manny was for real. AQUI needs new PR/IR representation imho, and until they put out real numbers that match their repeated assertions, I/we will suffer.
If most here truly don't belong in the pinks, and you may be right... then this share price would be at .02 still! If we, who should not be in the pinks leave... you'll be back there too. Be careful what you wish for.
Had 74k into it... have right around 34k now. It's spread over several accounts and to tell you the truth, I haven't wanted to do the math cuz I know it's really ugly.
No. I bought more as it pulled back. Again and again and again. Never sold a share because we were told that unbelievable, incredible, Earth-shattering news is just a week, no two weeks away and none of it has been Earth shattering. Encouraging, yes... positive for the long-term benefits of the company... yes. But they more than implied that it would be sooner that we would see the goods, so I waited and added.
No. I bought more as it pulled back. Again and again and again. Never sold a share.
I only blame myself for my losses, though there have been a few questionable activities by the former ONMC that could be called misleading. But don't you think that if they've got the contracts they should show us the money? That's what all the speculation of share price and calculations were about. If they've got 'em it's time to show 'em.
But you have to admit, through innuendo and direct reference, they have in fact pumped their price with promises of $500mil in contracts that they now have not confirmed. Don't be so disingenuous to say that they haven't. They have waived 'em in the air in front of share holders, they have stated it repeatedly, if that doesn't constitute "marketing" and pushing their value, what does? I just think we need confirmation of their "contracts" and I'll be happy.
http://www.ericdavid.com/newsletter/disclaimer/ONMC.htm
It was posted by one of our resident negatorios earlier. I know, I know, the company is doing its thing, allegedly in all the right ways, however they have teased us repeatedly with hyperbole and overstatement and I just want to shut up the doubters and to assuage my own very real concerns with some NUMBERS IN A WELL-WRITTEN PR!!! That's all. It doesn't sound like it's too much to ask of them... they've asked me to be patient, and I have. I've added innumerable times to support share price and it's hurt me... bad. Now I can't really sell cuz I'm in too deep. Steve, if you're out there... Send us some real news! Thanks.
Correct, it is standard... the timing was weird to send out a special email titled "Message about AQUI" while the stock in spiraling down the tubes. A mid-day disclaimer sent during duress is a bit disconcerting that's all. It had the opposite effect.
Zooming to a dollar in a week? That's soft-pedaling it a bit sir. We are half to a third of the price I'm averaged in at. I've been in this for almost half a year now and that's decades in Pinkie land. WHERE ARE THE PR'S THAT WERE PROMISED? It's killing me... I'm down 40k.
This one from Blue today...
Someone just sent us an email asking if we should apologize for covering AQUI to our subscribers. To that I say the following:
We didnt apologize to anyone when the stock went from .05 to .005 then all the way to .18 ~ The market controls what happens to the stock - any stock. The company has done what they have said they would do and to that we say BRAVO! As far as the markets reaction to what the company has done - that is up to the market. Penny stocks have wild swings and investors and subscribers to this email have been told COUNTLESS times to take profits ALWAYS and to be CAUTIOUS in any penny stock they invest in.
Many readers here have made alot of money in AQUI and other stocks and will continue to do so. Investors should ALWAYS make their OWN investment decisions and do their OWN due diligence. We will merely **ALERT** our subscribers to companies we feel have upside potential. And finally in regards to AQUI - the stock was .115 last week - and yes it has come down considerably since then - for what reason is unknown, but the fact remains that there have been more entries and profitable exits on AQUI than one can count.
We wish everyone the best and look forward to much continued success in any stock we ALERT. LONG TERM outlook on AQUI remains positive in our opinion and we are still very much in support of the stock unless something of significance which would negatively impact the stability of the company (not necessarily the stock) comes to light. Furthermore, to many the recent decline presents a buying opportunity so take that for what its worth and ALWAYS tread with caution in ANY penny stock you choose to GAMBLE with.
Kind Regards, BLUE HORSE SHOE and the BLUE HORSE SHOE SALOON
Ranger- what is going on here with diminishing share price, no substantive PR's, and no board regulars to offer perspective? What should we grizzled vets and Noobs alike be thinkin'? Then we get recent disclaimers from Blue and Steve? Pretty creepy... which is part of why the shareprice is what it is.
Where are all our fearless leaders to provide guidance?
The news is incredible, the partners are awesome, the multiple news wires picking up on our story proves that they recognize the legitimacy of AQUI, and now Steve says more good things to come! Woo-hoo!
I know I've commented on his spelling and grammar simply because it really is more important than people here think it is. Of course it in no way overshadows or diminishes the fundamental aspects of the news. But unfortunately, I've now given the naysayers a new bone to chew on, and that was never my intention. I'll drop it and just contact Steve tomorrow.
Since we are going to have exposure to millions via PR's over the next several weeks and beyond, it is absolutely critical for Steve to dial up the professionalism in terms of his writing/editing.
There's a lot of PR's to be out soon, should be awesome!
I could not agree with you more. EDS' command of the English language and grammar harms its/our credibility. If our guru were in a different industry, that's a whole new story, but in a "news" environment dealing with dissemination of information, it is extremely counter-productive.
If the big guy's forte' is connections and people skills, that's great, but use a spell/grammar check setting for God's sake! Or, have an associate proof everything before it goes out. I look forward to this week's news and PR's, but I don't look forward to the bake sale mentality when it comes to the written word.
Squashed? Yes sir, I dare say that the naysayers are getting curb-stomped by these most recent developments! I am looking forward to Steve's newsletter tonight, although I expect it will be more of a review than of truly new material. He does have SEC parameters to operate within for a public company. He has inside information that he is bound to release to the general public all at once and not just to have us be privy to the goods first. That being said, I too think this will be a green week for us.
Clearly a much better reference! lol You're too funny. It is however, undeniable that this is not your average pinkie with distributors and point of purchase partners like AQUI has garnered. The "is this thing real?" crowd is getting quieter.
James Earl Jones says "Build it and they will come" to Kevin Costner in the film "Field of Dreams". Nice reference.
It's probably the same as it is to ship Fiji water to the US, Evian to everywhere, Perrier to wherever. I've heard a buck a case to ship it. Stop with the minutia and look at the fundamental biz model and you will see a path that leads from a glacier in Canada to point of purchase in China, India, and the rest of the Asian basin (according to Wolong's dist. scope).
This company means business, and yes we don't have numbers yet, but you don't set up something like this without looking at the viability of cost v. price etc. The fact that they've landed these kinds of partners should tell you they probably know how to operate a calculator too.
Look, the COG (cost of goods) is just about zero... there is bottling and shipping. Done. Who in China can afford this water you ask? Well, the middle class of China is the size of the entire population of the USA! There are plenty of people in China that can afford this product.
Thanks Gold... yes, we will try to scale the .08's again before the day is through. Third time's a charm.
You're right... this is going much higher in the coming weeks. I just have to laugh at myself as my purchases seem to be a contrarian indicator. lol
How is it I always manage to buy at the HOD? I'm Mr. Lucky.
... and humble pie for dessert! Hey, if these are superstores then that explains why Wolong's distribution contract makes even more sense. They are probably dropping off some of those consumer electronics at the stores anyway... why not bring 'em some water too? Yeeehaaa! The pieces of this puzzle are beginning to fall together.
Another 100k fo me coming right up!
Mr. Ranger sir... now this is more like it!!! The LARGEST supermarket chain in China, and more to come. "Run Forrest run!"
It is awesome news!! The market may only recognize it as "good" news, but this is a major, major development!! Woo-hoo!
You are partially right... I fell for the timeline the company threatened to keep to without the oops and unexpected delays. Some were AQUI's fault, some were not, but they are the ones who have made the repeated mistake by giving a timeline, and I have made the mistake of believing them.
Yes sir, I have supported the stock with much more than I should have, and I've said so many times. I can also tell you that I'm not the only one here who has had that much confidence in this company to over-invest in it. I think many people on this board have it pretty lopsided in their portfolio. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I'd bet you on that one. You? Too much?
Also, let's not confuse a 4- 6 month plan with impatience. I'll hold some of my shares for a long long time. Unfortunately, much of it I will have to liquidate over the course of the next two months because I need it for building. The faster the pps increases, the less I have to sell for my needs. I love this company and I want to keep as many shares as I can so hell yes, I want this baby to move... like now! Ergo, c'mon PR's!!! Good luck to you and to AQUI. (but make it soon) lol
I hope you are right Blue. But to all the chart people and divine intervention fans... this stock's pps won't do anything meaningful without a big juicy PR that wows the purchasing public. I hope it comes tomorrow so we can swoon about it all weekend. JMO
I did like the line from PR #2 stating something about the "line of Aquagold products" obviously implying more good stuff in the pipeline to sell. Very optimistic PR that was sadly misinterpreted by the market.
