Where is everybody? This stock is showing great moves on huge volume...they've installed a jaw-dropping management team and are pursuing a plan to make their stock options pop! What's not to like? Looks like it has established a new base in the $1.50s...
GSAG is certainly in an industry sector poised for growth in the near future and unfortunately for our society, much longer. These recent gains should hold and move up, then there will be a profit-taking wave and a little bedwetter panic, and then the true longs should win the day into the New Year. IMHO
Amen to that. I jumped off a building last year on this one. It seems as though they've fixed or fired their problems this time
However, if Da Silva or any other officers sold into the hype, made money (ill-gotten gains), then we could attach to those profits and maybe recover a bit o' cash.
... a block of salt!
That's true! It's also true that 6/6/08 is the 64th anniversary of D-Day, though you won't hear it anywhere on the media today. So much for history and the brave men who fought to keep the world safe for democracy... and AQUI. Shame on the media.
Hi Stormy, how about them pork chops? Expensive but delicious. Haven't seen you around in ages. What is up with AQUI today, in your opinion?
I'd love to see the company hit the newswires with something juicy tomorrow. Timing is everything, and clearly management has missed the boat on it through most of this endeavor, so I hope they have learned their lesson and use this opportunity to toss us some table scraps via a release.
It's true... much the same way that we fans have been missing for weeks and weeks. Oh well, such are the fickle vicissitudes of the pinks.
I will say that the volume looks great on an up day. Now that's a really good sign... maybe these are Chinese "friends and family" purchases for those in the know. Hmmm...
There it is in a nutshell folks. What an awesome post... probably belongs in the ibox. Great job as usual Doog.
True that Doog! You know it's strange how the board now so easily embraces the very observations that used to get nothing but scorn. I was probably the most vocal on Steve's Spellcheck Syndrome and being grammar challenged, but it was never received well by the board. I guess we've all been beat up so bad we're punch drunk and so it's finally funny. I guess it's that ol' timing thing. GLTA
Now that was funny!
More harm than good? Please. This is the marketplace of ideas sir, and thus is it so in a democracy. If you want to win the battle you must have more persuasive arguments, backed by raw data or just pristine logic. You simply have to have better ideas.
Me? I'd settle for an 8k and a spellcheck! lol
I saw her putting on her shoes.
Been doing that very thing for a while. It would seem it is in vogue now whereas I was a pariah for doing it before. I guess we'll see if it helps. GLTA
I have the same shares as ever and I am questioning my sanity more than ever! lol
I agree that they shouldn't do meaningless releases "every single day" either, but perhaps they could give us loyal longs some table scraps to help with the pps. They surely must be aware that many of us have been eviscerated by the drop and that Manny hurt us badly. I would hope they feel some sense of obligation to provide a bit of quid pro quo as we helped them early on. I also still am of the mind that Steve has done more damage than good for this company, and I would like to see a paid IR team doing their job well instead of a guy posting on Raging Bull with no spellcheck or updates. JMHFO
I've been a little sick too... mine has been caused by the pps however. Good to see you back, hope you're feeling better.
Isn't possible that our Chinese partners wanted some cheapies... so AQUI management lets the price drift down to affordable levels by doing no PR's for a little while? Now we're hopefully at that price point and the Chinese dive in, AQUI begins aggressive rollout for June, and then everybody wins? Maybe?
Looks like the short strategy didn't work.
I would say that was a fill or kill order at a specific price executed by a shorter. It really doesn't reflect the day's trading at all. It makes it look ugly but it's just illusion. That's why it was such a small trade, and at the end of the day. I wouldn't be surprised to see either kind of trade here at the end... paint it up or down is the last minute battle.
No trades in over 2 hours! AQUI owners love their weekends!
Don't let 'em get to you Doog!
I'm still here with 815k hoping for a bump within weeks.
Good call! Make another prediction and then another... more green in the coming weeks would be a good one to start with. lol If the big release for AG is going to be June 1, then I've got to believe we're going to see some pre-release volume increases within the next weeks. There'll be some "friends and family" purchases as the news leaks out. IMHO
Thanks. The more it goes up, the more I get to keep!
Oops... ok, thanks iHub administrators! Freedom!!!
I'm off the banned list (thanks Mods- I was only firing back), and I am ready to see the next phase of contract announcements. Realistic expectations are now instilled, some flippers have made their southern movement cash, others have sold on panic or averaged down; so all in all, we probably have a better/stronger investor here for the next run.
We also have the same fine company we had before with plenty of work to be done, but a cogent, well-conceived plan to continue laying groundwork with our Chinese business partners and to turn our LOI's (or whatEver Manny waived in the air) into solid and backed contracts like we did with the $118 mil. Wolong/Lianhua contract.
It's great to see some volume, although a bit light, and it moving to the upside. This went down on doubt and recent company clarifications, it will go up on news and facts. Bring on more contracts and pump out more PR's!!! Quickly!
Again, remember when I ripped on Weiss and all I got was grief from the entire board? Hmmm... prescient, no?
Great post! Could not have put it more eloquently myself.
Well, I know you guys are wondering if I dumped this am... I did not. You can believe me or not, I still have not sold a single share since I started buying last fall. I am forced to sell over the coming 6-8 weeks because of financial obligations, not because of "weakness", nor a lack of confidence in the company. I will bleed my sales into some good days, sorry to have to do this- I really am. But I have also been one of the buyers who held this thing up during previous drops in price so I guess it balances out. This is an awesome company as I have always said... check out all or any of my posts. This is the only pink I am in and the only board I post on or read.
This pps share behavior is a case of overstating contracts and not yet delivering. It is a case of Manny raising expectations, and then Steve and EDS producing over-the-top hyperbole PR's which can only result in disappointment. It sounds like new management has a much better perspective on performance vs. expectation, and that they are following through on a solid business plan.
If people are selling right now it is because of a time-frame issue (they need the money and can't wait any longer), or they are in fact flipping and trading for better prices. I would add that the mm's are busy, and that Da Silva may be dumping too as we have no idea what he got out of the deal. Whatever.
If I was a new investor with a reasonable time-frame of about 6 months, looking for a huge multi-bagger, this price for this stock is ridiculously. I'd buy waaaay too much of it. Oops, I already did, at about 7 cents a share more than it is at now.
You are absolutely correct sir, I am in the second category. I believed what Manny said and EDS and everybody's and my own DD. I bought in, averaged down again and again and am RED about $50k right now. I hope Manny does not have as good of an attorney as I will. 6 months for contracts? That's just great.
Thanks MXC... I'm long and wobbly! Go AQUI!!!
What awesome advice! Will you be my attorney? I've made such great decisions so far, maybe this is really a good thing! No, I haven't sold... not one single, wish-I-had share. The worst part of all of this seeming debacle is that she has been right for months and months. She had been right 4 times in 23 years, and now she's been right for 4 straight months.
You are correct Doog... and I for one could not be happier with the timing of this meeting. I hope they address all concerns for naysayers and noobs alike and that there are some hitters in the crowd driving their cells like Andretti.
Now those are great questions... probably can and should be answered at this point, imho. Awesome! Thank you T-88, I guess I'm also taking Ranger's point to heart and trying not to clog the limited meeting time with what I would deem to be premature, ergo irrelevant questions at this point in time. I do think MTP's questions will be perfectly apropos as we move forward, perhaps in a Q or two. We are in the middle of a cold war right now, so could you tell him what I'm saying? lol
I believe in free speech MTP. In no way have I ever said "you couldn't" ask the questions, but rather that they are absurd at this point in the game. Period. To you that may be too much "nuance" to grasp, but to me it is abundantly clear that everyone has the right to be wrong, and it is apparent you are exercising that right. Fire away, and good luck with those answers.
Try this on for size... I just started a company... I am finalizing big contracts... ask me what my earnings are. Or, ask me how many widgets I have on the shelf in Walmart and why they are not selling even though they are not there yet. Great questions don't you think?
Those are great questions for September and later. Right now, let me answer them for you. No, nothing, no idea, and nada. There. However, if they tell you they have $725 million in enforceable contracts, including an Olympic deal, the new bottle design is ready, India is talking big orders, etc,, you'd think it was bunko because they don't know how many friggin bottles are sitting in Yanshou, or Guillen, Fu Li, or Xian? Get real dooooood.
Aren't those questions waaay premature at this point chief? We are making all the things you want answers to happen right now. There's no way they have those numbers at this point of the game. That's like asking about earnings when we haven't even finalized all of our contracts yet. There really are bigger and better questions at this point in time.
Ditto that one! Sure I'd love to see the stores sellin' it like crazy, but if they have an enforceable contract, to a degree I don't really care. It may take some months for the stores to get the name on their end-cap placements, exposure to get sales, advertising campaigns etc. If we have big contracts in place, confirmed and enforceable, the rest will follow. Such is the way of business.
