To ALL veterans out there...
THANK YOU!
Hey ya'll...sorry I haven't been around much lately, but...and I hate to say it...I think that's going to become the norm rather than the exception, at least for a while.
It's just taking longer to get all the things done during the day that need getting done.
Not much time left for play, although I do still read the board almost daily.
Seattle, kind sir.
Larry...give this a shot.
Go to Control Panel/Internet properties/Tabs/settings...and uncheck the top box. (Enable Tabbed Browsing)
Or look at the various other options.
LOVE the way Mary Ford sings that song!
Les isn't too bad there either, lol.
Hey, Larry.
I remember when her guy, Keith, died. Another dang shame.
Lol, at first I was wondering who was pulling who.
It covers just about all the holidays...
fits me to a 'T'.
Best of luck to you too!
I see you're hanging right in there with no losses so far.
Forgot...You have a good chance of winning that baseball pool.
But it ain't over 'till it's over.
I'm putting that one next to my 'bahh humbug' button.
And those were just the highlights of my day, lol.
Actually, it was a good day.
And the weather is still playing like it's a yo-yo.
We were back up to 82 again today, and going back down to 62 in a couple days.
This time change is going to take some gettin' used to...
I'm ready for bed and it's only 9:45.
I think that if, years down the road when Im trying to have a kid, I find out that I'm sterile, most of my disappointment will stem from the fact that I was not aware of my condition in college.
Read it 5 minutes ago and I'm STILL laughing at that one!
~ Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper
~ The Eagles - Witchy Woman
~ Sheb Wooley - Purple People Eater
Great bunch of tunes, Fred!
Thanks mucho much.
Here's a couple more that might fit...
Lol, thanks...just what I wanted.
Lol, That'd be nice, but my luck is not that good.
You're still very much in it, ya know.
SDC for me, please.
Oh yeah...late 60's early 70's for me were great times. Lots going on everywhere.
G'Night, bud.
Time to get off this 'puter for the day, lol.
Good Night, good people.
~ Meatloaf - Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad
~ Three Dog Night - One Is The Loneliest Number
Hi, Whip
Lol, Dunno if I wanna go into winter mode just yet. Love the sunshine way more than that continuous gray.
Supposed to get warmer here too, but only back to the 70's for a bit.
~ Youngbloods - Let's Get Together
~ Sly & The Family Stone - Medley
