GDXJ resistance is almost here at ~$32.80 Interested to see what happens...
Looks like the next resistance on GDXJ is around $32.80.
Wow, it's about time for this pop...
My $14.63s are looking good!
Driving season run should start soon.
Look at a chart of GDX for those same time frames. You're free to believe what you want it doesn't mean that you're not wrong.
I'm done now.
The RS is not affecting the price. This is an ETN. The ONLY thing that effects the price is GDX (and decay).
If EVERYONE sells their shares today, the price will not tank, it will still move +/- 3x GDX.
Again, GDX movement and decay are the only things that effect the price of NUGT
This is a bad comparison.
If NUGT is $8 and goes up $1 that means NUGT gained 12.5%
If NUGT is $32 and goes up $1 that means NUGT gained 3.13%
IT IS ALL PERCENTAGE BASED.
This is ridiculous. Simple elementary math; it's all percentage based.
An investor who buys $80,000 worth shares at $8 gets 10,000 shares. An investor who buys $80,000 worth shares at $32 gets 2500 shares.
If GDX goes up 3%, NUGT SHOULD go up 9%.
$8 * 1.09 = $8.72/share * 10,000 shares = $87,200
$32 * 1.09 = $34.88/share * 2500 shares = $87,200
Number of shares purchased is irrelevant...
Gotta love the seasonality chart!
Excellent, thanks!
Does anyone know what contango is at? Options expiry is tomorrow right?
Anyone know what contango is at? Options expiry is tomorrow correct?
Strange, my Robinhood account just told me JNUG will pay a dividend of $.02 per share on 3/28
Looks like we're going to have a green day today!
withdraw the money and put it in another brokerage account.
Can someone make this post a sticky (8406)? This is the seasonality chart; looks like we're right about on schedule...
What's the concensus around here? Is the contango play over or is NG going to drop more?
I believe this is it http://www.equityclock.com/charts/natural-gas-futures-ng-seasonal-chart/
Thanks wz!
The 3rd week of January in Chicago, on average, is the coldest week of the year. It is supposed to be 50 degrees here on Saturday and Sunday and 40's the rest of the week. Un-f'cking believable...
The % change you are showing for NG is from CMX close at 1:30pm (central time) yesterday but your % change for DGAZ is based on close of NYSE at 3pm (central time) There was as significant increase in pps of NG in that hour and a half yesterday. Looks right to me.
Now there is uwt/dwt and wtiu/wtid new 3x oil ETNs.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think rollover starts the 5th trading day of the month @ 20% per day. (So it takes 5 days for 100% rollover)
True but don't forget U/DGAZ represents Natural Gas futures. We are currently on Feb. futures and in a few more days we'll be on March futures i.e. Spring...
Still not working. Will there be any compensation for lost time/use for paying customers?
Someone should make this post a sticky...
Having issues with the mobile app. Keep getting login unsuccessful empty response even though correct password is entered.
That's why you use the underlying commodity to chart an ETN. WTI crude oil in this case.
Ok figured it out. Must be the way Firefox is rendering the page; the X is there when using Chrome. Odd.
Thanks for everyone's help!
No X there either...
Window is always maximized.
Gotcha. Not there either...
What do you mean "all enabled in favorites"?
My screen is as wide a it goes. Wide screen, hd
I don't have that option....

Hi. How do I remove a board from my favorites list? There used to be a red X in the past that would do it but they have been removed. Thanks!
Hi Peasodos. Now that U/DWTI are delisting, I'm curious what you're doing with all the DWTI you own. Are you selling for a substantial loss or are you going to take a gamble and hold onto the OTC market?
Just curious, I know you are/were heavily invested in DWTI.
I wonder if this is the "it's gonna be a long, cold winter" rally finally starting...
So UWTI/DWTI are getting delisted. I wonder if that will happen to UGAZ/DGAZ since they are also Credit Suisse products...
